"He's extremely thorough. I love his diagnostic skills. He'll go over everything with you to try to figure out what the issue is. He takes his time with you. You may have a" wait time, but you don't mind because you know that when you go into the exam room you know that he'll take as long is needed.

"I have been going there for probably the last 5 years, if not longer. And I have my primary care physician there and I've had a counseling for weight to try to make me
" weight. My regular MD and then the dental clinic does your teeth cleaning. I am overall satisfied with them. It's in my neighborhood and I like that. They are also very clean. I like it when I have an appointment, they will call me the day before or a couple of days before to remind me in case I've forgotten. If I've gone in with an illness, after a day or two, on of the nurses in the office will call you to see how you are feeling or if your medication has been working. That is kind of unusual to me and I never had it done until I came to this clinic.

"Dr.
was so friendly and knowledgable. She spent the time to visit with us and make sure all our questions were answered before we left. It was very punctual." Hardly any wait time. The front staff was also very friendly and helpful, which is very important to me. Overall a wonderful experience. My son has Aspbergers and so having someone calm is important.

I saw Dr. Barot for severe anemia, which required IV infusions. I went once a week for 7 weeks, and each week the side effects kept getting worse. I was having joint pain, edema, back pain, loss of muscle function and a pain in my right side. I told Dr. Barot that I thought I was having a reaction to the drug. He kept making excuses, like my right side was hurting because of the way I was sitting in the chair. Hmmmm, the only time it would hurt is while I was getting the infusions, same time into the treatment and every week it got worse. I did consider stopping the treatments, but at this point my iron was too low and I would have needed a transfusion. On the last treatment I ended up having a BAD reaction -

, swelling, redness, difficulty breathing. They had to reinsert my IV, give me steroids, benedryl and call my husband to pick me up! A few weeks later when I went in for a follow-up, Dr. Barot had not even put the reaction in my records (the reaction happened AFTER my treatment, during the 30 min. wait time to leave) and he refused to acknowledge that it was a reaction to the iron IV. I believe he did not write it in my chart because he would have to report the reaction to the FDA. He makes a lot of money off these infusions, at the expense of his patients. On a side note, the phlebotomists in his office do know know how to put in IV's very well. I will admit that I have terrible veins, but it took them 2-4x to get it right EVERY TIME I went in.
I will NEVER go back to this doctor. And, by the way, the treatments didn't work, iron was low 2 months later.

She is very personable and very easy to talk to. She listens well. However, she is trying to reduce her practice and she works three days a week.

Dr

's practice is the first one I've used that nearly always manages to be on time for appointments. If there are any delays or snags, there is always an apology from the staff and/or the doctor, also a very unusual attribute for a doctor's office. On top of all that, Dr

is personable, professional, current in his knowledge, and highly skilled. He listens to his patients. We're lucky to have him in

Dr
High Springs Internists Provider Name Locked
listens to everything you have to say and finds referrals that match your personality. He is the most thoughtful and compassionate person and he has great follow-up care. Scheduling can be hard as he is a popular physician. If you are sick, he will get you in but for well-check visits, physicals, etc. it is a good idea to schedule a couple weeks in advance. The staff there is excellent. He is A+ provider to work with.
