"We were referred to Dr.
by the PA at our family doctor. The reception and waiting room areas are somewhat dated, but are neat and clean." The receptionist was not very cheerful or friendly, but not unfriendly. The exam rooms are old and outdated and most of the equipment looks like it has not been updated in at least 30-40 years. Ours was decorated with items that had been pulled out of people's sinus's (interesting.. but also a little strange). Both my wife and I found the doctor's "bedside manner" somewhat cold and communictions were fair to strained. We had one follow-up visit for the doctor to present the results of a CT scan that was performed at another facility. The communications during the 2nd visit were a little better and the doctor did take the time to review the results with us and to answer a few questions. Both my wife and I did agree that if any type of surgery was going to be required, neither of us felt comfortable enough with the doctor to let him perform surgery (we would have looked elsewhere for another ENT doctor). The final straw was when we received the bills. The first visit, which lasted a total of 10 minutes was billed at $181.00. The 2nd visit which probably lasted 15 minutes was billed at $152. We feel that $333 for a total of 25 minutes of the doctor's time is outrageous. We will not be going back to
and Neck and we will be contacting our family doctor and the PA who generated the referral to share our experience and to recommend that they do not refer any more of his patients to
and Neck, or Dr.

"Dr. Kileen decided after hearing the story of my early childhood procedure that used some radioactive materials and at this stage in my life could become thyroid" cancer. Scheduled a sonogram of my thyroid and it showed some nodules that should be aspirated. The results of the sonogram was full of errors, e.g., liver nodule when my liver was not involved at all. Decided I needed a second opinion and scheduled an appointment with my GP. He had run a thyroid blood test and that test showed that my thyroid was normal. The GP Doctor and I decided to monitor the nodule. No aspiration at this time because at this point totally unnecessary. No on to other items concerning
. Trying to get an appointment is a nightmare. You could be on the phone for maybe thirty minutes listening to a robo voice telling you that all agents are busy, please hold. Yet, when you finally get the appointment and go into the office, the visible staff members are not swamped. I have no idea what that is all about.

On average, a patient spends less than 15 minutes with his doctor on any given visit. With so little time to address health concerns, it's important to be prepared so you can get the most out of each meeting with your physician.

Ent Doctor reviews in Dunnellon

After years and years of different treatments, ENTs and antibiotics, it took one visit to Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
and a small procedure for my sinus issues to be resolved. Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
is very professional and attentive. He made sure I understood why I was having these sinus issues and explained thoroughly how we can fix it. The procedure was easy and as explained. I have had zero sinus issues since then. Highly recommend

I wouldn't recommend
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
to anyone. His treatment of patients is horrible. I scheduled an appointment with him 30 minutes after his office opened. He saw me 2 hours later. When I asked him why he was so late, he said it was because I wasn't paying in cash. Note: My insurance covers it. He said if I paid in cash he would see me sooner. What an idiot!

I had a 3:30pm appointment, and arrived to check-in at 3:10pm. When I arrived, there was only one other patient in the waiting room, however I was not called back to an exam room until 4pm. After a brief visit with a nurse about my current condition, I was left to wait for the doctor, who came into the exam room to see me at 4:45pm. I visited a total of 5 minutes with the doctor, and was on my way. This was my last appointment with this office, simply because treatment is complete; however I would have selected a new office moving forward regardless. Not because the staff isn't knowledgeable and friendly; but because each and every appointment I had with this office, I had a very similar experience. Long waits in the waiting room, and longer waits in the exam room. Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
and his staff are really very friendly, but I feel that they could be more conscientious of their patient's time.

I believe that the surgery itself went well. I am still in recovery but expect no problems. The bedside manner left something to be desired, however. In previous encounters with Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
for reflux disease I found him to be very personable with a good sense of humor. So I was surprised this time to see a different side of him. Just before the surgery he came briefly into the room and spoke in a very brusk manner -- didn't acknowledge my wife at all. He gave the impression of being in a big hurry. Afterword he didn't even see me though I believe I recovered quickly enough that I could have spoken coherently with him. He did brief my wife about the surgery. We would have preferred that the briefing been given to me or preferably to both of us.
While I am disappointed in this experience with Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
and don't expect to continue with him, I have given him a thumbs up because of my prior better experience which was good. This is giving him the benefit of the doubt in a situation involving both positive and negatives feelings. Maybe he was having an atypical bad day.

yet to receive anything from their office but a bill for services that were not provided. I called and placed a complaint with the
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
Medical Board. However, their office continues to bill us for a visit that they refused us acess to, using Facetime so that I could hear our daughter and the physician's conversation. Our daughter was 14 years old at the time.

My visit: Very nice, pleasant office. Staff smiled and made me feel good. Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
, after listening to my complaint numbed my nose and throat and inserted a camera to see into my throat. It was painless and he was reassuring speaking in very calm soothing voice.

The visit went very well and I was happy. That's why I took my daughter to him. Her visit: The office was still nice. However, this time Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
came across as arrogant. He said there was no structural reason for my daughter's nose not to breathe, gave her nose spray and said to come back. The nose spray was not effective at all. I still feel there is structural reason for nose passages to close up when my daughter
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
down. Why I said he was arrogant: When I mentioned to Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
that I opted to treat my daughter's allergies in a holistic way (which worked very effectively, the only thing that remained was that the nose passages close down when she
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
down), he became very high and mighty and in front of my 11 year old said that all that holistic stuff is bogus. "You know it doesn't work, don't you?" Well, I know the opposite. If he felt that way, he should have never voiced it especially in front of an impressionable child. I am going to a different ENT.

I was able to obtain an appointment in a seasonable amount of time. During the first appointment, Dr.
Dunnellon Ent Doctors Provider Name Locked
performed an esophageal scope without anesthesia. He explained the procedure fully and was very gentle and swift. Although he did not promote a more intrusive test which would have resulted in a more definitive in diagnosis, I chose to have that test which he later performed with some local sedation. Luckily, my problem was not as severe as I had feared but he gave me some terrific dietary and life style pointers which have proven to be extremely helpful in preventing continued digestive problems. Although he is an ear, nose and throat doctor, his expertise extends into the gastrointestinal area. Excellent doctor.
- Rita M.

He's very responsive. He spent a lot of time with me. I can get an appointment right away. He's very punctual. His office environment was excellent. They're fabulous. He's good certified. He was very good. The whole office staff was very good.
