Started doing hurricane restoration work when "Hurricane Hugo" hit Charleston in 89 and then "Hurricane Andrew" hit Miami in 92. I saw the devastation it caused up-close and personal... then got involved in hurricane prevention in 94 and have been in and around the industry since. I now work as a "Independent Broker", specializing in hurricane protection and what is known as "Building Hardening" in the Insurance (Wind Storm) and Mortgage Industry.
