Dr. Taskonak is a fellow of Academy of Dental Materials and serves at the editorial board of journal of dental materials. He has maintained a private practice involving restorative, implant dentistry (bone grafting and implant placement) and related prosthetics. He currently practices in Coral Springs and in Sunny Isles Beach , FL. Dr. Taskonak received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. He was awarded a fellowship in 1999 from New York University , College of Dentistry for conducting research in dental biomaterials. In August 2004, Dr. Taskonak received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from University of Florida . He specializes in dental biomaterials. Upon completion his PhD program, Dr. Taskonak accepted a post Doctoral Research position at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX and consequently, he joined the faculty at Indiana University School of Dentistry where he conducted research and taught dental students for five years. Dr. Taskonak has published numerous articles in dental journals. He currently teaches both didactic and clinical courses at Nova University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Taskonak has been intimately involved in the field of restorative and implant dentistry. Dr. Taskonak merges his clinical expertise with his research training to provide the best for his patients in dentistry.
