"Dr.
diagnosed my knee problem in February 2014 after reviewing my MRI's and xrays. He discussed the pro's and con's of surgery" and left it up to me to decide when I was ready. Once I decided to have the surgery he and his staff set up the preliminary education, the hospital tour, the physical therapy and directed me through the entire process from start to finish. He is direct and looked at my care from all prospectives. I had my surgery on 11/5/2014. Dr.
. made himself available to me any time i needed anything. He communicated with my physical therapists and myself regularily to ensure that my recovery was on track with my goals. I have played sports all of my life and my knee just wouldn't allow me to perform competitively. After 4 months of my recovery I am proud to say I am back on the tennis courts and almost completely pain free. The entire experience was much like i expected from the preliminary appointments and discussions and education that I received pre op. One of the things that truly impressed me is the respect that his staff, the physical therapists and the hospital has for him as a physician. I highly recommend Dr.
for joint replacement surgery. He is a very talented surgeon and a caring physician.

"Everything went smoothly. Dr.
performed the operation at
Hospital, Roaring Spring. He conferred with me before" and after the operation. He checked up on me the next morning in the hospital (although I could have been an outpatient, my insurance insisted upon my staying overnight). I was up and walking with a walker by 4:00 p.m. the day of the operation. The pain management that Dr.
uses is very effective. There was no time when I was in pain, only slight discomfort. Couldn't have imagined a better experience in having a total hip replacement.

Sounds like you should be pursuing a disability claim.  Also, you could speak to your previous doctor frankly about your concerns.
Have they made orthotics for your shoes that distribute your weight better?

Hi,

This is James W. with Member Care. Thanks for posting your question.

It looks like when you signed up online on 8/5/2014, that you accidentally joined our greater Portland chapter instead of our Salem/Corvallis chapter that your zip code falls under. I have transferred your subscription to that chapter, so you will now have access to the correct area.

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if I can assist further. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at 1-866-783-2980. We're open weekdays from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET.

Thanks again!

I didn't find him through Angie's list. He's been my hand doc for years. But my fellow members deserve this great recommendation. The staff is friendly, courteous, and efficient. The center city Philadelphia offices are located in a lovely historic building. He belongs to a group practice: THE HAND CENTER. But be sure to specify

Zelouf. Dr. Zelouf is the very best! Four separate hand/wrist issues treated. Three surgical corrections, one non-surgical. All with excellent outcomes. Surgery is always a last resort with him. He's smart, professional, and pleasant. Office visits are casual and friendly but surgery day is serious business. Treatment is effective, permanent, and virtually painless. And he makes the prettiest incisions. He has this thing about invisible incisions. I dare anyone to find a

of scarring from my three surgeries. He's a healer and an artist! I've sent a few people to him, my dad among them. And I brag about him to everyone! My job requires fine hand movement and some rough hand movement. I keep damaging my hands and Dr. Z keeps fixing them. I think he has little patience for hypochondria and insurance fraud. If you ever see a bad review about him, it's probably because he shot down a fake workers' comp claim. He's not that kind of doctor. But if you genuinely hurt, he'll fix it.

It's a very nice hospital. I just switched from Little Rock to
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
, and right away they put me through and took care of everything. I'm quite satisfied with them as a whole. Every department is pleasant, quick, and professional. I walked into the doctor's office, and talked to him for as long as I needed. Quite impressive. They return your results promptly.

I have not yet had the hip replacement but he did give me all the correct information and I am yet to schedule the surgery. You are a person there and not a number. If you have to wait more than 20 minutes for your appointment, they would ask that you notify them that you haven't seen the doctor yet.

My experience with him was good. Informative. He didn't have the bedside manner that my eye doctor had, but he was an excellent surgeon. He made me feel comfortable. I had a surgery; he explained everything to me. He put mine and my family's concerns at ease. Everything went fine. With regard to punctuality, they are pretty backed up over there.

on Sept. 29, 2014 to repair my shattered right calcaneus (heel bone). I experienced no infection post operation (

and worked up to full weight bearing by 11 weeks
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
. After a few weeks on crutches and physical therapy sessions, I was walking with no pain, and very close to a normal gait by 15 weeks

. I owe my quick recovery in part to a good reconstruction by Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
. He reconstructed my heel bone using a plate and 13 screws. The outcome with this type of injury is not always as good as mine has been. There are a lot of factors that come in to play, such as the nature of the break, health of the patient and whether the patient has diabetes or is a smoker. I was 52 years old when I had my accident. Exactly how much Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
was responsible for my good outcome, I don't know. I must also give thanks to God.

I had the need for a knee replacement in 2010. I saw Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and went through all of the options. Initially, we were going to go for a partial replacement, hoping that this would allow me to stay more active. Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
was thoughtful about any and all methods. We attempted the knee cushioning shots, which helped for a while, but it eventually was to require some type of replacement. The night before the surgery, I had put in a call for him as I had some questions. He spent a full 30 minutes to me talking again about the options on the phone before going to surgery the next day. It made me feel very comfortable, and laid out all options. This paid off during surgery, as more arthritis was found during surgery and it was decided to go with a full replacement, which we had previously discussed over the phone. The care that I received from Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and the Southlake HEB nurses was stellar. I had good pain control, started to get up and on the knee the same day. The recommendations on therapy worked very well, and I recovered in the expected amount of time. My other knee had to be done a few years later, and again Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and Soluthlake HEB did a stellar job. Good post op. therapy is key and was for me in both instances. I had wonderful results and have no issues with either knee. Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
is a great surgeon and paid extensive attention to detail. I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery such as I had.

I have seen Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
six times. At every exam Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and his staff have been prompt, often taking us in early when we come in. Dr.
Cocoa Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
has always taken the time to listen, never rushes for his next appointment and is extremely friendly. His staff are always kind and the interactive communication and providing us with on line access to our information is the best I have ever seen. You can confirm and change appointments on line if you choose to and you also have access to your prescriptions and exam information online any time you need it. I never feel rushed or pressured when I go for my exams. Absolutely one of the best doctors I have ever been to.
