"We hired
after previous vendors. Shortly before, I made the brilliant decision to put weed suppressant all over the yard in the middle of" summer. don't do this. It kills the yard. Our neighbor's yard was putting ours to shame. But, after a year and a half of service, our yard looks great and is close to full recovery. And, we have one of the greenest lawns in the neighborhood. And, the price is competitive. On a side note,
put in Plugs and I've added sod. Plugs are at Lowe's and the way to go for bare spots with St

" DO NOT USE!! Unreliable, Terrible work, and Hard to Get in Touch With if there are problems!!! This was a terrible company. I selected this service based on Home" Advisor and reviews. I prepaid for two months of weekly service for my lawn (Im getting married in June and swamped until then) and for my sisters house, to help her family out because my Brother in Law went in to congestive heart failure the day after Easter (He's young so its hard). The first week I had spoke with
and told him my grass grew really high after two heavy rains and requested that they bag it. He assured me they would. They showed up late and did not bag my grass or my sisters. The cut was very uneven and the trimming left a wide swath by the gardens and the fence. They threw the drain extenders around and did not replace anything they moved. I called and could not get ahold of anyone at the office. Once they get your money the 856-742-1111 number will not answer or return your calls. I even used Home advisors Customer service to contact them and that was unsuccessful. Finally, I got a hold of
by going back and finding the number he call me from (his cell phone). He assured me they would bag the second week and he would be there to make sure they did a good job. He said they were backed up because of the rain. I told him I understood but requested they at least bag this week and ask them to check the blades on the mower to get an even cut. The second week they cut the grass at 8 pm at night, when it was dark out and no
to be found. Needless to say they missed a lot of spots and the trimming was just as bad. I called
and he said he would send them out to fix it. They came out on Monday and bagged and went back over the spots they missed. We called and told him they came out and appreciated that they fixed it. I also wanted to double check they were still coming on Friday since I was hosting Mothers Day brunch. He said they would be out Friday. I stayed home all Friday waiting for the crew so that I could make sure they did it right. By 5 pm Friday they hadn't cut either property. I called
and he said they would be out the next morning. On Saturday by noon they had not arrived and I was still waiting to go to shopping to prepare for Mothers Day so I called him and he said they would be over after they left Marlton. At 4pm they still hadn't cut either property I called him and he said they were still in Marlton. I asked if he was sure they were going to get to our properties, it was the end of the week and we paid for a weekly cut and I had a brunch the next day so the yard needed to be cut. He told me they would be over. At 4:15 he texted me and let me know I needed to cut our lawns and that he would issue me a credit because we were "not a good fit". So I let my sister know and she cut hers to keep my brother in law from doing it because he was trying to, and I cut mine at 4:30 and still had to shop because I waited for them all day. Needless to say they left us high and dry Mother's Day weekend and at the house of a heart patient. Imagine my surprise when
showed up to our properties the following Friday after they terminated the service and did not show the week before. I had already arranged for Pops lawns care (who I highly recommend) to take over both properties. I called both the Corporate Office for
's cell phone as well as texted him to let him know I was waiting on my credit and do not send his crews back out. I am still waiting for my credit and a response. DO NOT USE!! Unreliable, Terrible work, and Hard to Get in Touch With if there are problems!!!

How to Get Rid of Springtails

One of the most effective ways to control springtails is to dry out the infested area. Springtails require a high-moisture environment to breed and thrive, living mostly off of algaes that grow in moist conditions. They will either leave the infested area or die out. If there is an infestation that cannot be controlled by drying out the infested area, use an appropriately labeled insecticide with a residual time These will typically be a liquid concentrate form, a wet-able powder form, or a dust product.  DO NOT APPLY UNTIL AREAS ARE DRY.  If area will not dry naturally, use Corn Starch to soak-up any lingering moisture and otherwise 'steer' any rain water or irrigation away from area.

Also, if there is a noticed springtail infestation around the perimeter of the structure, use the insecticide to do a barrier treatment and apply corn starch to reduce or eliminate moisture. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices and inspect potted plants before they are brought into the house.

I would talk to your local lawn and garden supply store (or mill and feed) - NOT a box store or hardware store. There are also selective grass control chemicals. YOu can research this by Googling using search string      "Tall Fescue Control" - there are lots of articles by the USDA and individual state cooperative extension services.

There is a treatment called chlorsulfuron TFC (Tall Fescue Control) that will do this - it worked for me in western New York, but took 3 years to finish out all the tall fescue. It may now be limited to use by commercial applicators - pretty potent stuff. Can yellow bluegrass or make it phytosensitive, but our looked OK during treatment because the TFC was applied in the fall for best results, and our lawn was dormant till spring anyway.

Tall fescue can also be controlled by real short mowing, but only in areas where the bluegrass is dominant and really thrives so will eventually crowd out the trimmed fescue, but you may be too far north for that.

Lawn Treatment reviews in Cocoa

Job was performed completely and to my satisfaction. They left the bill with mail in envelop attached to my front door know. They did not damage anything as far as I could see.
- Erik N.

Very disappointed with the complete absence of customer service. and concern. No basic courtesy to call, to set up an appointment & inform me of their plans, to introduce themselves, to find out about my property & discuss or describe service. Similarly, upon their unannounced arrival, even though I happened to be home with my car in the driveway, no one bothered to ring the doorbell to let me know they were here. According to the invoice they left behind, they spent 7 minutes between 2:33pm - 2:40pm and, they supposedly treated the "entire yard" of my 40x100 ft property! They were neither seen nor heard during their flash visit!

Why bother with a Big Deal that is negative advertising, promotes bad service & gives no reason to anyone to seek

, except in order to avoid them?
I would not seek or recommend their service in any way in the future.

- Cristine G.

They were great in doing the quote and left details of what each treatment would do. They also left a plan of action on how they would attack the yard to bring it to a healthy state. They never once pressured for the sale or pushed to get payment before the work was even done. They came and did the first pass of many, left a sign in the yard to stay off the grass and the quote in the door to make payment! 100% satisfied with the level of service and treatment!

sprayed the solution on the lawn then soon after the grass started to die. Now the

I emailed for an estimate because a friend uses this company to control weeds in their lawn. They did reply with a quote but it was about $20 more than my friend pays. They said the cost is more because I have a bigger yard. I told them we don't have much grass at all because of a pool, playset, shed, dog run and extended driveway. The person who referred me has more grass than i do. They never replied to that so apparently they arent interested in getting my business or looking at my lawn. Poor way to handle a potential new customer.
- Louis C.

Excellent service. They are on time very professional and clean up after they are done. Lawn was in sorry shape when they started in early spring but now looks great! I've used other national service providers in the past but none were even close to the professionals from Brookside. Give them my highest recommendation.
- Dennis K.

Always a great job! He spreads the nutrients, repellents, etc. with a motorized spreader which takes about 1/2 hour. Always friendly & respectable. The only thing that I find annoying is when they call and ask to do aeration of the lawn because all I want is that they do the above and nothing more. Other than that I'm very happy with their service and have no complaints.
I highly recommend their service to anyone who is looking for a reputable lawn care company.
- Diana R.

The company thoroughly explained their treatment and process, and made sure they kept in contact to set up application dates. Later, the technician taking care of my lawn for the future came to inspect my lawn to see how the first treatment was taking. They have been extremely professional and friendly, and I can already tell a difference in my lawn after only 1 treatment (and my lawn needs a lot of help!). I would recommend this company to anyone!
