"The office is really chilly, as needed, and they offered me a blanket during the biopsy. Dr.
was efficient and clear, saying what she could," following protocol, and not speculating further than warranted by the evidence at hand. The staff did their best to do what was needed while keeping a scared patient on track. They spoke of Dr. Berm's expertise and status in the field to reassure me. Biopsy results will determine further interactions that I will evaluate then.

"It's still too early to tell if the treatment was effective or not, but Dr.
was at least able to accomplish what all my previous doctors" said could not be done. As for the actual experience, it's not an easy process to go through, but the staff at
Hospital was first rate. All the nurses and aides were very attentive and really did their best to make me comfortable. One thing that may seem like a small thing but makes a huge difference is that all the staff introduces themselves and tells you what their role is. That way you know who to properly direct questions to.

Radiology covers a broad range of services that use diagnostic imaging devices to see into the body. A radiologist reads the results and forwards the findings to your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Angie's Answers

I second the original question (still unanswered). Speaking as someone who logged in today to try to find an attorney, I see this category as one that's exactly what I have my Angie's List membership for:

1. It's important that I find a good one
2. I'm not an expert enough to know myself who is a good one
3. The industry is full of advertisements and misinformation
4. I wish I knew what experiences other people have had

I don't care about lawns--I planted mine in clover and don't have to mow it. When I do need to mow I use a rotary Fiskars mower, which is great--or a scythe. That's right--a scythe (the European type, which is smaller, and it's very good exercise). Gas-powered mowers, chemical fertilizers and weed killers--all nasty stuff that gets into everyone's air, soil, and water. I'm sure my neighbor doesn't like my wildflowers, semi-wild pockets of fruit bushes, and unmown areas and yes, dandelions (I have 10 acres) but that's too bad. It's better habitat for wildlife, especially the pollinators on which our food supply depends. I think this obsession with the Great American Lawn is a waste of time and resources. Plant some food instead.

I'm not sure Angie et. al. want you to have a complete answer to this question. By re-subscribing at the Indiana State Fair in 2012, I think I paid $20.00 per year for a multi- year subscription. Maybe even less. At the other extreme--and I hope my memory isn't faulty about this--I think the price, for my area, for ONE year was an outrageous $70.00. And they debited me automatically without warning. I had to opt out of that automatic charge. I like Angie's List, but if some of the companies they monitor behaved the way they do in this respect, they'd be on some sort of Pages of Unhappiness. I'll be interested to see if this comment gets published or censored out of existence.

That's very difficult to answer without seeing the house. As one poster said, the prep is the most important part. On newer homes that don't have a lot of peeling paint, the prep can be very minimal even as low as a couple or a few hundred dollars for the prep labor.

On a 100 year old home with 12 coats of peeling paint on it, then the prep costs can be very high and can easily exceed 50% of the job's labor cost.

A 2100 sq ft two story home could easily cost $1000 just for the labor to prep for the paint job. That number could climb too. Throw in lots of caullking  or window glazing, and you could be talking a couple or a few hundred dollars more for labor.

Painting that home with one coat of paint and a different color on the trim could run roughly $1000 or more just for labor. Add a second coat  and that could cost close to another $1000 for labor.

For paint, you may need 20 gallons of paint. You can pay from $30-$70 for a gallon of good quality exterior paint. The manufacturer of the paint should be specified in any painting contract. Otherwise, the contractor could bid at a Sherwin-Williams $60 per gallon paint and then paint the house with $35 Valspar and pocket the difference. $25 dollars per gallon times 20 gallons? That's a pretty penny too.

That was the long answer to your question. The short answer is $2000 to $4000 and up, depending upon the amount of prep, the number of coats, the amount of trim, and the paint used.

You have to put your self in the shoes of a business that is in business to turn a profit of some sort. All businesses have different overhead which in turn decides what their bottom line would be on their services. I personally would not go with an unlicensed professional for this type of install. You are messing with gas, venting issues, electrical wiring{electric water heater} and updated code issues such as a drain pan and tempature and relief drain lines for heaters that currently do not have them. I do agree that there are some companies that are way out of line for their installs but most of these companies are the really big companies that have very high overheads  I would assume. Tank type water heaters have changed over the last several years and with these safety changes come bigger prices. The price of steel thanks to China is skyrocketing and tank type water heaters are made of steel. Most wholesale plumbing supply companies cannot match what the big box stores are selling at retail to consumers. I happen to think from research that heaters such as Rheem, Bradford White and AOSmith who have been in business forever make a better product than what you can buy in the big box outlets. You also have to take in consideration the location of the water heater that is being replaced. Is it in the house, basement, garage or attic. Most 40 and 50 gallon water heaters that are purchased in a plumbing wholesale store in Texas cost between 300-340 for a 6 year warranty heater with 6 year on parts and tank. Speaking of warranty. Most big box companies will take a least 24 hours to a week to get your warranty problem taken care of. Most reputable plumbing companies will give same day service if they installed the heater.

So lets break down a typical install at cost to a licensed plumber in Texas

Heater: $315, water shut off $6.50, water flex lines or unions to code $20, gas flex line and cut off to code $12, misc fittings $15, Total $368.50 Lets add a 35% profit which is some what low  for a business $129, Total 497.50

This doesnt  include permits, pan and drain or any venting issues. The vent must go from the heater to the outside of roof using double wall vent.

Cost of permit on average $60

Most plumbing companies allow for 3 hours of time for a water heater. This includes picking the new one up. Delivering out to house. Draining and removing old water heater. Hauling off old heater. Installing new heater up to code. Going down to city and pulling permit.

Average Labor charges for heater installs $400

That would make this install run without extras on any code issues $957.50

I just had a 50 gallon gas water heater installed in my house for $1200 but I needed a pan installed. I used a licensed plumber.

Todd said it best.

An itemized list / cost breakdown, more often than not is used against the contractor when it is shared with other builders who will then beat it.

Good contractors use good people, and good people cost more.  Just the cost of having the appropriate insurance / bond can be the difference between winning a job or losing it ot a 'lower bid'.

It is the rule of three; there is Good, Cheap and Fast.  You can have any two:  Good and Cheap, won't be Fast; Good and Fast, won't be Cheap;  Cheap and Fast, won't be Good!

When comparing bids, it isn't the cheapest or the 'nicest' person you should select.   You should understand why there is a large price difference (it shows there are gaps in your design program or what you have asked for specifically, which means there may be arguments later).  If most of the bids are in line, and one is way high or way low,  you want to know why before dismissing or selecting them.

A price-only decision almost always costs more in the long run.

Good luck!

Radiology reviews in Clermont

After receiving services in
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
of 2014 in the hospital ER from
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
Radiological, we received a bill many months later that insurance had made no payments towards; however, we paid the bill in full. Two months later, we received a collections notice from AmeriCollect, their collections agency. After spending most of the morning on the phone with both
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
Radiological Associates and AmeriCollect, I learned that
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
Radiological has no record of turning our account over to collections, and the collections company states that it definitely happened, and it will soon be reported to the credit bureau. They also have no record of the payment in full sent from our billpay account at our bank, even though we have the canceled check! I was told to contact them again in 30-45 days. This is the second time I've had to prove payment because of ONE hospital visit to the ER in
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
2014. Where IS all the money, and how could it disappear? Also, how could you have NO RECORD of sending an account into collections? I called back and spoke with 3 different people at
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
Radiological, so this is no mistake by one person. They should be more careful with people's credit and reputations.

Last month I had my first mammogram at
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
Health Center and was in for the shock of my life. As this was my first exam I didn't know what to expect nor was it explained to me the proper procedures when the tech
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
arrived. I advised her that this was my first time so she should have explained what to expect but didn't. She had no problems imagining my right one but the left was a different issue. After 3 tries the 3D imaging machine broke so we went into another room. Even with a working machine she couldn't get a clear picture of my left one. After 7 attempts she got a image but by this time I was in immense pain, nauseous and almost passed out.
Not once did
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
the tech ask me how I was doing, if I needed a break or to reschedule. Her blatant lack of training has now caused me an unnecessary trauma injury to my left one and pec muscles. I now have a infection which requires antibiotics
due to lymph node trauma, shooting nerve pain,
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
swelling, muscle spasms, can barely move my left arm without pain, have increasing medical bills because of the mistreatment and have missed work. Everyone from the scheduling receptionist to the tech were rude, kept trying to push me to do things I didn't want to do and now I find out that I went through this trauma for no reason as they need me to come back for more imaging on both. This place is extremely unprofessional. I will never go back nor have a mammogram again thanks to them.
I came here for a screening so that I can live a healthy and happy life; I did not expect to be injured. I trust the health care system that the Hippocratic Oath of Do No Harm will be followed by all health care professionals but that is not what I received.

They were great. the test was easy to schedule and it was much cheaper to have it done there compared other facilities/hospitals.
I would highly recommend

I have gone to a few places to look at

and looked at theirs'. A few days before I got the

I called them and

told me I could come in and she would show me the

machine. She showed me what would happen and told me I could get on the table so that she could show me exactly how far it would go. So I went ahead and signed up for it. Once I went to
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
that was it. It's such a comfortable atmosphere and is very homey. I felt like I was sitting in someone's living room. It was very clean. Also, the receptionist is very nice and helpful, not scarey at all. Everything was exactly like they said it would be. It was a really really positive experience and I would highly recommend them!

Not only made my life better by treating my veins which were causing horrible leg cramps and sores, he also told me I had inflammATION in my tose, a bakers cyst causing pain in my calf and possibly parkinsons disease (which my father had) just because I told him I had a problemn standing up out of a chair

I went to my dentist yesterday for my 6-month checkup. I have been going to this dentist at this facility for almost 20 years. I have a very good dental health record. The office manager said that going forward, I would have to submit to x-rays every 6 months. She said that I could no longer be a patient there if I did not submit to their policy....More /> Despite my arguments that most people need bite wing x-rays every 24-36 months and that many people can go a decade between full mouth x-rays, she said that company policy was that every patient must submit to x-rays every 6 months.
Apparently, this is an on-going issue at GHDF because other patients as well were arguing against this policy.
I find this policy very disturbing. It appears to be a business decision to create an easy profit center. Never in my life have I been refused treatment if I did not agree to a certain procedure -- in this case, harmful and unnecessary radiation.
- cynthia K.

They are fabulous! They make appointments that run on time, and if they are behind they let you know. They even have evening and weekend appointments. They take all kinds of insurance and give people who do not have insurance a discount. The neuroradiologist who owns the clinic went out of his way to reassure my mother after her scan, and got her scan to her within 30 minutes. We are very pleased, and we would not go anywhere else.
- Joyce Theresa P.

I entered the picture approximately seven months later. There were bills left over. I was able to resolve all but one bill,
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
. They never billed the insurance company even though I and my new husband repeatedly called and spoke with their billing department, submitted proof of insurance and provided them with everything they needed. Letters were sent as well. There was alot happening at the time. My husband retired, we sold one house and bought another...moved. We dropped the ball on this. We actually thought they handled my husband's request. They didn't. Now, he has a judgement on his credit from
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
. This is the only incident on his credit. The two year statue of limitations has passed and he has to pay the bill to clean up this credit blot. In researching
Clermont Radiologists Provider Name Locked
, I found many complaints of them not handling their billing processes appropriately. We contacted an attorney and were advised we may be able to remove judgement via "The Fair Credit Reporting Act." We are pursuing this. I hate incompetance, mine and theirs...theirs for their impersonal, uncaring, unprofessional handling of this, mine for dropping the ball.
