Pet Grooming reviews in Bradenton

I have a gorgeous white golden retriever but in his seventh month the hair seemed to grow two inches. I called Aussie Mobile because the reviews were all excellent and I believe I got

I was the last appointment on a Friday before Easter and gave this some serious thought before I posted any review. I did tip her $60 because of that...and before I really inspected my pet after her work. So I paid about $140 total to have my dog get a hair cut, I was not after grooming as much-we swim every day. BOTTOM LINE He got no hair cut and he got zero brushing of the undercoat. What he did get was a shampoo and blow dry job they may try to claim as the "brushing part." It sure was not.
They were on time and I had to sign major paperwork upon arrival and departure which is probably standard. Not sure who has time to read it with an excited dog being exchanged to a stranger at the door...nevertheless...
I asked when I called if they could "gauge" how short we could go...he was at two inches and in some case three. I was trying to get down to at least one inch...or 3/4"
Bottom line she washed my dog, NEVER BRUSHED HIM AT ALL, and blew him dry. I could have done all that. The moment he returned to the home and all the next week there was the same amount of white hair all over the place than before I secured Aussie Mobile. (Their shampoo is good and did not irritate him--so A plus there)
Brushing is the hardest part of having a golden and the only reason I would pay a groomer. This was not done and the part I really did not now how to do--trimming his hair down to half was not even began to be done. She did a few uneven cuts here and there but nothing really all over, and much of his hair all over had never been trimmed at all. (And worse one cut that looked awful because it was obviously she trimmed and stopped on very back of his neck)
I worked all week while I debated if she was awful or I was full of dog hair all week was one clue...blowing a dog dry is not grooming....
So last night I got him in the shower and began to cut his hair to see how d*** hard it is BEFORE I write this -- as maybe not to write this. If it was very hard, I was not going to write anything.
It was easy!!! And he loves water so he is no problemo. I got a $5 razor comb off Amazon a "

" and had him shampooed up, smoothed his hair down to see the direction and combed in strokes. It was a lot of hair and I worked slowly as this was my first time.
He looks great and like he did last month before the hair spurt. So-it did take me a full hour with my dog, but thanks to Aussie Mobile being so pathetic, I may never need a groomer again. Now I will simply spend fifteen minutes a week with him just using the comb to keep it puppy length which also avoid need for major brushing sessions. Not too thin because they cannot have sunlight hit their under skin. And this is best for an indoor dog... Maybe she felt if they trimmed too much off I would never need a dog groomer? I thought about that also. [Note a fully grown dog may take a few pooch is only 60 pounds]
C is for not trimming him at all when that was the clear request
D is for chopping one hunk off his back-they few places even attempted
F is for not EVEN brushing him and ALL THE HAIR I had all over my guest on EASTER.
And she knew it--so F it stays.
She got a great tip she did not know she was getting until she handed me my blown out dog-she could have felt bad and asked to take him a few more minutes (to brush him). To correct issues I was not going to know until the holiday weekend was in play.

The provider was scheduled to show up at my house at 10:00 A.M on September 4. At 10:20 A.M., he called and said he could not come because he had to take his mother to the hospital. She spoke no English, so he had to be her interpreter. He asked to reschedule on September 5 at noon. He called a little before noon on September 5 and said his mother was still in the hospital. He went on to say that he would call me on Sunday at 10:00 to either reschedule or to come on Sunday to work on the dogs. 10:AM came and went. Never heard a word from him. don't know about his quality of work, but I would say that his dependability leaves a lot to be desired. Since he appears to be unreliable, I would not consider using him to groom my dogs. I can't comment on his cost, except he quoted me $50.00 per dog, which is every reasonable. I can't comment on his work, since he didn't show up to do anything. If feel for him if he indeed has a sick mother, but I think that I met him more than half way in this issue, and gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Very nice place to have your pet groomed. The dogs are not caged but have their own playrooms. Extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. I felt like I was taking my dog to a birthday So friendly and loving. She got the best haircut ever. I couldn't be more please. The price was the lowest I have ever paid and the best grooming she has ever had. We are so lucky to have this groomer in Bradenton/Sarasota. I felt my dog was treated as if she were a person. She even got a welcome pack with a dog
