Sylvia Allen lay unconscious in a San Francisco hospital emergency department, stopped at the age of 30 by yet another cardiac arrest. The sporadic collapses began at age 20 for the Angie’s List member who was diagnosed first with epilepsy, then a prolapsed mitral valve.
