An eye screening at school is not enough to know whether your child’s vision is in full working order. They need to regularly visit an optometrist.

Children are often unaware of their own vision changes because they usually happen so gradually, meaning extra caution should be used, says Murray. (Photo courtesy of Angie’s List member Radcliffe F. of Fremont, California)

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

Eye doctors were always good. However, the front office staff was geared up to the selling mode. Over 10 years of service they tried to push into buying more and more expensive items. They firm continued to grow and get more commercial. Finally found different doctor two years ago. Will not go back.

is great. It is a popular office so scheduling 1-2 months in advance is best as I need double appointments. The staff is good to work with there.

was my doctor and he was awesome! Not only did he do the typical office visit testing, he helped educate me and was able to answer all my questions. We experimented with several different types of contacts and methods over the next few weeks so he could find out exactly what would work for me best. There were never any additional charges during any of that time either. The entire staff was very cool. The office was lively, hip and decorated nicely, not typically what you might expect. We had just moved to the area and we found them on Angie's List and we were 100% glad we did, they will continue to be our doctors. Thanks!

The hospital is a clean, friendly place with concerned nurses and staff. I was kept abreast of what was happening and escorted to the recovery room as soon as it was possible. There was even a lovely "care" dog who came by to help people relax.
