"Great experience from estimate to appointment confirmation to completion of job. Teak responded to my request for a quote quickly -- while Teak was not the lowest" estimate, I felt that Teak would provide the best balance between quality, professionalism, and timeliness based on reviews here, and quality was especially important due to the visibility of the areas in question (right in the middle of the living room). The job acceptance was online with details provided. The job was split over two days to provide for patching and then texturing, which worked fine for me. On both days, the team (I can't remember names as I've waited too long to write this..) arrived promptly and prepped the floors, walls, and fixtures with paper and plastic to prevent against dust. Patches were secured well, the mud work was excellent, and the texture was professionally done via machine and layered well with surrounding texture. I could tell through conversation that they were both very experienced, and they did the extra touches as needed to ensure a quality result. I am very happy with the results and would hire Teak again if I ever have future work.

drywall installation and repair

Drywall and plaster

Knowing how your interior walls are constructed and what they are made of can help you take better care of your home, as well as provide effective maintenance. You can make small repairs yourself, but the more extensive the job the more likely you'll need a drywall repair contractor to make the wall smooth again.

You may prefer the lived-in look, but a hole in the wall makes your home look a little too lived in. A pro tells how to repair a hole yourself and save money.

My sister-in-law uses brite white toothpaste and rubs it into those small holes. No prep, no sanding.
?

I've used wall liner (it applies like wallpaper only thicker) to cover a multitude of "wall sins" over the years. In my opinion it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. It doesn't look cheap or tacky, it's inexpensive, non-labor intensive and not messy to install.

I used it for the first time about 15 years ago to cover a faux brick tile on my lower kitchen walls that couldn't be removed. It was either tear the wall down or take a chance on $40 worth of wall liner. It did the job beautifully and lasted. Since then I've used it to cover paneling, a badly gouged wall after a kitchen remodel and a wall that looked like a pegboard after floor to ceiling shelving was removed.

Friends and family (and realtors!) have been amazed by the transformation after applying this simple inexpensive product.

Hope I don't, but if I need anymore
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
work, they'll be my first call.
They were responsive to my inquiry and request for estimate (two business days). Able to set up an appointment for repairs within 2 weeks. They called ahead and showed up on time.
Laid out plastic along the walk ways, removed the old stuff, made the
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
repairs and then mudded and textured. Took about 2-2 1/2 hours. Cleaned everything up and were off.
After letting it dry three days and a coat of paint, you can't tell where the holes were. I got what I wanted.. Perfect.

Setting up the appointment went well, they got back to me within a day. I told them what was needed and my available dates, They had no problems with that.
They showed up on time and on the day expected, were very professional and knew what they were doing. They asked me to review the work when they completed and it was all very good. They cleaned up very well and I had no problems and would use them again if I need drywall work.

actually came out to my home twice. The first job didn't go exactly how I planned. I needed the drywall to be paint ready and the worker perhaps misunderstood. I emailed
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and explained everything. A young lady called me right away and set up a new appointment at no additional cost. She said she would send out someone to complete the work to my satisfaction, at no additional cost.
I believe the worker's name was
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
. He was on time, friendly, and most of all, he was skilled. I was very happy with his work and happy with how the company overall took care of me. I had such a big job that
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
wasn't able to complete it all, but I was very satisfied with what he did do. I plan to use the company in the future and must note that they made me feel like a valued customer.

It went well. They worked very quickly. We had already taken the wallpaper down and it cost a bit more due to repair to the wall itself. They were very professional and the cleanup was great.

We purchased a newer home in
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
that needed various repairs. By November we had reached the point of getting to our drywall issues. I searched
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and found
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
in our area. I called his number and had to leave a message. He traded a voice mail with me but before I could return his call he called me twice more. I thought that was going to be a great indication of his service. Wrong. He asked if he could come out on a Sunday morning to review it and give me an estimate. He showed up, took measurements, told us what we would need and then indicated that he would contact us the following week with an estimate. THAT WAS NOVEMBER 30, 2014. Its now the end of January and I still have not heard from him. I texted him and called him to follow up but never received a response. Obviously, we went with someone else. We're on
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
today to move on to our next project and were asked to submit this review. Perhaps something came up, or he didn't want to do the job, but he could have at least told us that. As it is, we wasted time and delayed our painting projects waiting to give him a
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Disappointing.
