"Good luck in reaching a live person when calling. Always got answering machine which states they will call you back within one business day. Left message and it's" been a week, still no call. What if there are issues after the job is performed? Good luck.

-Shawn T.

"I had a new fireplace installed and there was a few inches of "wall" missing around it. Aside from spackle splatter on the bricks, these guys did a good" job for the short amount of time I had them for.

Drywall and plaster

Knowing how your interior walls are constructed and what they are made of can help you take better care of your home, as well as provide effective maintenance. You can make small repairs yourself, but the more extensive the job the more likely you'll need a drywall repair contractor to make the wall smooth again.

You may prefer the lived-in look, but a hole in the wall makes your home look a little too lived in. A pro tells how to repair a hole yourself and save money.

My sister-in-law uses brite white toothpaste and rubs it into those small holes. No prep, no sanding.

I've used wall liner (it applies like wallpaper only thicker) to cover a multitude of "wall sins" over the years. In my opinion it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. It doesn't look cheap or tacky, it's inexpensive, non-labor intensive and not messy to install.

I used it for the first time about 15 years ago to cover a faux brick tile on my lower kitchen walls that couldn't be removed. It was either tear the wall down or take a chance on $40 worth of wall liner. It did the job beautifully and lasted. Since then I've used it to cover paneling, a badly gouged wall after a kitchen remodel and a wall that looked like a pegboard after floor to ceiling shelving was removed.

Friends and family (and realtors!) have been amazed by the transformation after applying this simple inexpensive product.

Drywall Repair And Installation reviews in Washington

The repairman clled to tell me traffic was going tomake him alittle late--excellent courtesy!!! He came, covered furniture to keep drywall dust contined. He explained what he was doing as he went along. Excellent workmanship, excellent courtesy. He had no objections to answering questions as he ent along. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
- Ray R.

you would never know that there was any work done. It was perfect when finished and looks amazing. His interior ceiling work was perfect and his outdoor work equally excellent. Lovely guy to work with and fair and upfront on pricing.
Recommend him strongly.
- Wendell S.

The owner came over to look the bathroom over, said he'd call me with an estimate. It's been almost 3 months, never heard back one way or the other. If they didn't have time or didn't want to do the work, I would have at least appreciated a call so I would be able to make alternate plans.

was very attentive with calls / texts / quotes / etc... Very professional in that regard. His quality of work was good. He did a fine job repairing a significant portion of the ceiling and blending it back into the existing / undamaged ceiling. It did take him far longer to finish the job than what was cited in our contract. The 4 day quote in the contract turned into about three weeks in reality. He started on 9/30/14 and finished up on 10/21.
This also drove significant cost that was not discussed or agreed beforehand. So, at the end of the job,
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
asked for ~ 30% more than what we had agreed to in our "contract". He mentioned that it would've been much more than that but he was giving me a deal on all the extra work that the job required.
Bottom line is that the quality of what he did was fine, but he ran into problems and failed to communicate the challenges back to me before proceeding with the job. It resulted in a much higher price than what I expected, and that is the main reason for the lower rating.

As always,
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
did a fantastic job. This bifold door is very large and heavy and hasn't worked right since it was installed 15 years ago.
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
recognized that the track was not heavy duty enough so he ordered a different, more appropriate one. The supplier initially sold him the incorrect track but instead of trying to 'make do' he had them rectify their error. He came to put in the new track in a timely manner, and with enough men that the job went smoothly. He installed a device that guides the doors to close better as well that should have been, but was not, installed initially so long ago. While one might not think that this was a 'big deal' job, it was to us. This door is in our kitchen and is used daily and when trying to prepare dinner in a timely manner things like working doors are very significant. Instead of leading to frustration and annoyance we now have an easier time getting dinner on the table, making us all quite happy.

handled this relatively small job just as he does larger jobs. He does his very best, always, and each time we have needed his services he has made us feel as if our job was of the utmost importance to him, and that, large or small, he handles them expertly and in a timely manner. I cannot imagine calling anyone else to do work for us.

and his guys were very prompt and always let me know when they would be there each day and contacted me if there were any delays. Did a very professional and quick job. I will be having

First to arrive was the electrician who is aHome Pro employee. He checked the work required and determined that another junction box would not be required. Wiring could be run direct to the fixture saving some time and mess. After hanging the light in the new location, he then checked its operation which was fine. He then set about to prepare the old hole for drywall repair. He made a perfect cut and put backup boards in the hole to support the new drywall. What electrician does that for a drywall guy? I asked him if he knew who the drywall guy was. He said "no" but we both work for the same company, so he felt that it was best to provide a good repair base. The drywall guy came in and made a perfect repair. I cannot tell that there was ever a hole there.
There was an area on one wall of the house that I had done some rather extensive wall repairs. It was the result of having to make several holes in the wall to route sound system wiring. Quite honestly, I had done a poor job as I used some new drywall repair aides that I purchased from my local Home Depot that just did not work out. My wife was not happy with me. Not to worry!

, the drywall guy repaired the wall to better than new. Once again, I could not tell there was ever a problem. After that ,
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
did several other repairs and painting, all of it exemplary.
When both technicians were finished, they cleaned up their areas and put everything back the way it was. They were presentable, pleasant and professional and knowledgable. We liked Home Pros service so much that we have already scheduled further work and are waiting on an estimate for even more work. Having been in the service industry for 40+ years, I know how difficult it is to find and keep quality employees who care.
Washington Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
has done that. Additionally, all my contacts with the company were with the office stall or the owner. They were all pleasant and professional and as they are the face of the company you get a very comfortable feeling from the first time you talk to them. My wife and I highly recommend

Easy and pleasant to work with. Hard working and very responsive to our need to use "green" materials. They did a good job for a good price. Our painter was very pleased with the paint-ready condition of the new drywall. Would happily engage their services in the future.
