They spent time with my dog getting to know him and training him based on his likes and dislikes. I am so happy I went with this company! All of the trainers were understanding and kind to me and my dog.

"The cost of service listed was for dog boarding and training. Group class prices vary from $150-200.00 for 4-6 week classes.
" performed miracles with our German Shepard. They had her for 6 weeks and taught her basic commands on and off leash. Sounds like a long time but our girl is very strong headed. She is much calmer now, is great on walks, will sit and
down on command. She pays much better attention to us and will sit or
down til called to come. It is truly amazing. When we picked her up they gave us an in depth handler training session so we would be able to reinforce her training not destroy all she had learned. We learned a lot. They also include a session of group lessons so they can make sure we are progressing and not regressing. Their critiques are very constructive and helpful to us in understanding our girl. I definitely recommend them.

"We adopt Angel from Almost Home Foundation in February 2013. She is a female mastiff,
, and boxer mix, according to our vet she was between 8 to 11 months old." In only a few short months we noticed that she had fear issues and not socialized with people. We brought in a non
trainer and they recommend putting her on drugs. Angel developed pink eye and when we took her to get her eyes checked they recommend

came to our house and she connected with Angel in only 5 minutes. She recommended 2 courses of action, camp or in house visits. We chose to have the in house visits. Our in house visits started in June 2013 with

Dog Training reviews in Stamford

I had rescued two dogs in
Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
, and really needed help with the adjustment. Fortunately there were three or four trainers present for every class -- and they all provided wonderful individual advice and encouragement all along the way. The stress is on gently guiding
Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
into the desired behaviors, and the approach mostly worked very well with my high energy dogs. I would highly recommend the class to most anyone starting out with a new dog -- no matter the dog's age. And I'm really glad I learned about the organization on Angie's List!

Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
etc took control of the class and made dog training fun and meaningful! This was our third dog through first friends training program.

I met the gentleman and scheduled the 8 lessons for the dog training. He came to my house and conducted the first lesson as we agreed. For all the other scheduled lessons he has not showed up, contacted me, or responded to any of my texts, calls, or emails.

Very well. We were hoping to introduce our dog to the facility on a gradual basis before boarding her for the first time. Everyone was great! So much better than being locked in a cage or kennel! Will definitely be back!

I think it went very well, I
Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
’t have much experience with dog training but it seemed to go okay. It is still ongoing. It is an eight week training course for that amount. They are very good. It is kind of interesting some of the older dogs that did the classes there came and had birthday hats on, it was really cute and came to say happy birthday to the dog trainer that was teaching the class. That just kind of shows you that people really like the trainer and what he did and the dog recently made some improvements, it was kind of nice to see. I was so surprised. It really was fun to see and the nice thing about it was that they were all behaving, they were all very good and that means that he did his job very well. The price is on par with everyone else and I looked around and they are pretty competitive. People in there were really helpful, I didn’t know what to do and they were excellent with that.

Our Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier attended Neumans 8 week training. We had a great experience and
Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
came home a new dog. He was able to go for walks with out tugging, he was mastering basic commands and knew his 'place'. A perk is that when we travel, we can have
Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
boarded at Neumans and also have training reinforced. This reinforcement is excellent and we know he is safe. We would recommend him to anyone looking for exceptional training.

Dog board and train dropout. She didn't even tell me my dog wasn't eating or drinking until 5 days after his pick up, when he got sick. All
Stamford Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
was worried about was the remainder of her fees that hadn't been paid, which she constantly mentioned. She taught my dog basically nothing. She was very unprofessional and money hungry. When my dog was dropped back off at my house i was given no instructions on furthering the training she had already done. When i called asking about the training she was able to do in the 5 days that he was there it was like talking to a uneducated child that had no idea what she was doing. When pressing for answers it was like, lights out but nobody home. If you want your dog cared for, trained, and loved DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE!
