Business Description: Phoenix Rising Acupuncture LLC is a full service acupuncture office which treats physical conditions such as body pain, digestive conditions, fertility, allergy/sinus/immunity issues, sports medicine, migraines/headaches, joint/muscular conditions, physical and emotional stress as well as the chronic physical conditions such as Lyme, Fibromyalgia, asthma, and Chronic Fatigue. We work very well with cancer patients to rebuild the immunity, energy, and strength in those who have been weakened by the treatment regimens of radiation and chemotherapy. Seniors who are having trouble with feelings of fear, anxiety, and worry will also benefit from acupuncture to decrease these feelings and treat the root of the problem which will allow them to sleep better at night, have more energy, and be able to perform their daily activities that they enjoy. We treat individuals in a holistic manner which means we focus on all aspects of the person's life, work-home-friend and family relationships-since these things have an impact on both our body and mind. In this way, the treatment protocol is decided on an individual basis therefore providing the best treatment for that person in order to receive immediate change in their condition with fewer treatments needed to rectify the problem. Phoenix Rising Acupuncture LLC has one Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) on staff. She is licensed as an Acupuncturist in Ct. and is a Doctor of Acupuncture in RI. She is a graduate at the Master's level from the University of Bridgeport's Acupuncture Institute which is a nationally accredited Acupuncture school. The program consisted of three years in western medicine and Chinese medicine classes as well as clinical rotation for a total of 2768 hours. This training far exceeds the minimum national requirements in order to take the Acupuncture exams for Board Certification. While at the Acupuncture Institute, she received the Director's Award for Scholastic Achievement in Acupuncture. Phoenix Rising Acupuncture LLC is located at 2 Pomperaug Office Park in Southbury CT as well as 223 Meadow Street #3 in Naugatuck CT. Since we do not accept insurance at this time, we charge a per treatment fee of $70. There will be an additional charge of $30 for the first visit which will cover the health screening/evaluation and diagnosis portion of the visit. We always give you an acupuncture treatment during the first visit. We accept cash, check, MC, Visa, HSA. If you would like to be reimbursed by your insurance company for your acupuncture treatment, we will provide you with the form to use. Acupuncture "points" the way to health!
