Business Description: "Did you know acupuncture can be an effective alternative to surgery or pharmaceuticals?" Acupuncture treatments at Affordable Acupuncture of Connecticut are done in a beautiful and peaceful community style group setting. Patients are treated together while seated in comfortable recliners or chairs. Patients are fully clothed. All treatments are done by Licensed Acupuncturist Jody Eisemann, L.Ac., using sterilized disposable one time use needles. While she is a general healthcare practitioner, Jody specializes in treating all kinds of pain with quick and effective results. Most acupuncture points used are below the elbows and knees and patients are fully clothed during treatment. Acupuncture needles are virtually painless as they are less than the thickness of a cat whisker and are designed to stimulate, not to cut. Studies have shown that treating in group settings has a beneficial effect on healing. Treating patients seated together is the most common way acupuncture is used around the world. Acupuncture offers alternative and natural solutions to many health conditions and chronic medical issues that western medicine may dismiss as a psychological problem, like PMS or recommend medication as in the case of allergies or chose to do a surgical procedure for pain in the hips, back, knees or shoulders, etc. Acupuncture is safe and free of side effects and can be an effective alternative to more invasive procedures. Costs (Norwalk Clinic): Regular Acupuncture Treatment: $45 per session (Initial treatment with intake $55) Acu-Balance/De-Stressing Treatment: $25 per session or $100 for 5 sessions Acu-Balance treats: anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, trauma, mood disorders, weight loss and to stop smoking (ears only, no intake needed to treat) Facial Rejuvenation: prices on request Private Individual Acupuncture is available in Fairfield most days/evenings: Call (203) 254-6596 Payment: Cash, Check, Credit Cards or Money Orders
