1) contact local furniture store that handles and repairs recliners. Frequently, even if they do not have the exact spring, they can come up with a pair that is close enough in length and stiffness that you can swap both and get satisfactory performance.
2) google your local barcalounger dealer - they might be able to get parts or keep a few common ones like springs in stock
3) write the company - Corporate Address: 400 W. Main Street, Suite 210 Morristown, TN 37814 It went bankrupt in 2010 and was bought by HPC3 Furniture Holdings - manufacturing in china now but distributing in US.

At every stage of our remodel Celtic was the weak link in the chain. They were weeks late getting the first cabinets to us, during which time our carpentry subcontractors cooled their heels with little to do (they actually swept our garage, they were so bored!). When the cabinets finally arrived there were consistent problems. The carpenters had to refit virtually every cabinet because the product is so poorly made. The shelving for the closet never did arrive.
The worst, though, was the pantry. The architect custom-designed this cabinetry to optimize the food storage containers we use. What we received had no relationship to the drawings. The vertical space between the drawers was off by several inches, with the result being an unusable top drawer in each of the three cabinet sections. Moreover, two of the three cabinets arrived with drawers that were too narrow for the boxes. The carpenters were able to mount them on the hardware, but there were gaps on the side - it looked sloppy and resulted in a substantial loss of storage space. This problem was compounded because the containers for which the drawers were designed won't fit in this space as well, meaning we either needed to change storage systems or
In the case of all of the drawers in the pantry and the kitchen itself, the bottoms of the drawers were constructed of substandard material that flexes. We were unable to confirm the weight rating for this material, but it was clear that this material would not stand up to continued use for the storage of heavy items such as canisters of beans and other dry goods, let alone pots and pans. The pantry cabinetry that was removed featured hardware that was not as high quality as what the carpenters have installed (note: Celtic did not fabricate the hardware and we're happy with its quality), but the drawers that were removed, which were an off-the-shelf product, had very sturdy bottoms - in fact, our contractors commented on the weight of these drawers at demolition.
The cabinets were supposed to arrive painted, but Celtic decided to deliver them unpainted and have them painted on site. The house was filled with toxic fumes from this process.
We attempted to resolve all of these issues through our general contractor, but Celtic stopped returning even his calls, though when he was still returning them he just kept telling the GC that he was very busy.
Eventually, weeks later, the cabinet makers showed up to stick on little plastic dots that will keep the cabinet doors from banging when shut. I walked through the kitchen with the cabinet maker to point out the problems and ask when they were going to be fixed. First, he told me that there are no problems with any of the work. I asked about the fact that the pantry cabinets are all different widths - visibly different widths - none of which match the blueprints or the spaces into which they are to be inserted; his response was "that doesn't count" because he knew about it and was going to fix it. As the walkthrough continued, the cabinet maker continued to insist that everything was as it should be - the flexing drawer bottoms were fine, the unusable top drawers in the pantry were fine, the doors that were already warping weren't warping. He began to yell at me, then he stormed out. Thereafter, he refused to return, even though the job still wasn't complete. The general contractor confirmed that the cabinet maker had, in fact, quit.
Although we were relieved to be rid of the cabinet maker, months passed and the kitchen
A month later we still didn't have a functioning kitchen, and on top of that we were still getting emails from the contractor saying things like: "[The new cabinet maker] will be taking a look at the remaining pieces for the vanity that Celtic made. Those pieces weren't made to the correct size, so [the new cabinet maker] will see what they can do to correct that mistake."
Ultimately, the new cabinetmaker had to tear out the entire Celtic pantry and install a new one. The new pantry cabinetry fit the space properly without gaps or visible shims, the kitchen cabinets were reinforced, the warped doors replaced, the closet completed, the bathroom cabinet remade and reinstalled. I hope that others will learn from our story and stay far away from
p.s. We filed a complaint with the BBB. Celtic never responded.
Even though he came for an estimate, he still used the previous contractor's measurements for his own, which
He failed to clarify what "flashing" was to be done. We were given the impression that flashing would be done around chimney. However, only the flashing was done around the top of the chimney, not the part of the chimney that goes around the home.
The liner was on "order" for weeks when it was in the warehouse the whole time, further delaying this install. Either miscommunication or just plain lying. On top of that they snuck in the liner costs in the price which wasn't broken down for us.
The whole ordeal took 3 months!! It was all a one sided conversation with them. We always had to call to follow up with them on anything. They hardly kept in communication with us. Extremely unprofessional. They lack communication between the customer and themselves. They take messages there for
I can go on and on about this "business" but the main takeaway is go somewhere else, it's not worth the headache and stress.
During the initial phases of the cabinets' construction,
There doesn't seem to be any way to add before-and-after photographs, which is a shame. A picture is worth 1000 words ...
