"BathAfter a few appointment changes--understandable ones including death of his mother--
showed up on time and completed a difficult task in 3 hours--the time of his advertised special (129 for 3 hours). Bathtub and surround look ...more better than they have for 25 years. "

"I wanted a new kitchen and ended up buying all the pieces at a major retailer. I had to find an installation contractor myself. I didn't use Angie's list at the time. I'd spent quite a bit on the cabinets and granite counter top and ...more wanted it done right. I looked in the phone book and asked around if anybody knew of somebody good.
's name kept turning up. So I got 3 prices including
's wasn't the cheapest but he was able to point out issues that the others didn't, I felt most comfortable with him so I went with him. Man was I glad I did. They were on time and onsite every time they were scheduled, no hassles no excuses. Very professional and kept as clean as possible. When it came time for the granite counter top they showed up even though they weren't scheduled. I didn't know but the cabinets have to be DEAD LEVEL for the granite counter top and sure enough, the counter top guys said it was and exceptional job and put the top on no problem. I work in the construction industry and I know that poor planing creates problems and bad results, Not this time and I believe it was
that was the key. "

did an excellent job as usual. I have been using
for about 18 years. He has put new columns on the front porch, built a 12 x 24 foot cedar deck on the rear of the house, replaced five windows and a slider to the deck and completely renovated the master bath. Also completed were a new ceiling and crown ...more molding in the living and dining rooms, a cedar ceiling on the front porch and installed a new storm door on the front of the house. All of the projects I listed and more, were done to my complete satisfaction. "
and his assistants were very professional. You could easily see they take pride in their work and are well skilled at their work.
All went well with only a few hiccups mainly due to previous remodeling done by a less than professional contractor.
"The sales person in Orange Ct wasn't very helpful. He was too laid back. He didn't suggest anything. I had to go around to the kitchen setup samples and open and close the cabinets and drawers to see what options were available. He was more than happy to change whatever I wanted but since this was my first kitchen I didn't know what ...more was available. The installer
was wonderful. I was only sorry I didn't know, until he was done, that he was able to do other tasks for a reasonable price. We had to deal with the home office in
and they were very nice also. As with all remodeling some things didn't run as smoothly as I wished but over all I was very happy and have recommended
is very professional. We set up an appointment to discuss the work we desired to have done and he came out within a couple of days to review and price the job. He made suggestions and gave us his professional opinions which made the entire job run more smoothly and eliminated snags along the way. His knowledge of building ...more and remodeling along with all the codes and inspection requirements eliminated any delays with the project. The workers showed up on time and kept the area as clean as possible as they were working. The project was actually finished sooner that planned and came out absolutely beautiful. We are very happy with our 'New' bathroom. "
"During the estimate inspection, we expressed our concern that the wood underneath the tile was rotting and needed replacement.
assured us it would be replaced as needed.
quoted us $800. When workers arrived, they said the estimate was $850 (OK, I can deal with that). Then then tried to
...more down the new tiles without replacing the wood underneath, which was rotting so bad, you could pull it up with your fingers. After our insistence, they replaced the wood (which then bumped the price to $1200). When the work was done, we had no receipt (which we need for tax purposes). Numerous calls to get a receipt went unanswered. I should have checked the Better Business Bureau first before using this company, as they have an "unsatisfactory" record with the BBB and have a history of not returning calls."
and his crew were professional, responsive, and absolutely a joy to work with. They provided explanations every step of the way, and no job was too small for them to do.
with me at exactly the time he agreed to, sat down and explained not only the job but the pricing. He took my ...more general description of what I wanted to do with the kitchen and returned the next day with a complete set of drawings as well as a proposed price. He designed my dream kitchen! We worked with the components until it fit into my budget,. After we agreed on price,
set up an appointment for me to pick out appliances, color schemes etc, and promised demolition would start the following Monday. Since I am decoratively "challenged",
stayed with me each step of the way on appliances etc.
Demolition started promptly when
promised. His crew was professional, and knowledgeable. They started promptly at their start time, took only a lunch break and often stayed past normal stop time AND worked on weekends. Each day before they left, they cleaned the demolition area, and put away all tools, etc. I really appreciated these guys and their diligence.
went the extra mile, came often to the job site, and was always available when I had a question.
stated that the job would probably be completed within 6 weeks, if nothing unexpected happened. Not only were they finished BEFORE the six week time period. . . BUT, they came in exactly at budget. Frankly you hear about construction companies that exceed budget, but
billed me every week, and added NOTHING other than if I executed a change order.
I was so happy with the remodel, I had them contracted them to re-roof the house while they were on site. They were quick, efficient, and the price was fair. They removed all the old tiles, cleaned up litter and did it in record time. . .
As a result, I have this extraordinary kitchen and new roof - all within budget! While I have added pictures, it probably helps to explain that I inherited my childhood home. is a very small ranch that is approximately 70 years old, and had not been updated since the 1970s or 1980s. As a result, the house now feels twice as big and has a very open floor plan. . all I had hoped to accomplish, and with
's help did.
I would absolutely recommend this firm to others. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with! Next year when I do additional work on the house, it will be with
"We had a beautiful granite kitchen countertop and island installed in our home. We also replaced both of our bathroom vanity tops with natural stone. One was a small half bath, with an antique furniture base, and a scalloped shaped marble top, with a premium fancy
and backsplash. A second vanity was done out of an extremely ...more unique looking granite, with big beautiful swirls of of color and movement, and two his-and-her undermount sinks. I would have loved to do a jacuzzi tub with a stone surround, but the bathroom dimensions did not allow for it. We are currently planning yet another project, to put in a granite fireplace hearth and surround, and we will inevitably have custom table tops made from quartz slab. If there is enough of the quartz slab left over, after the tables are made, we may also have a bartop made, for our basement bar. I cant stop thinking of what other surfaces I can put granite, marble, or quartz on, with
