was rather combative with me during my first visit. She prescribed Metformin for me, since I measured pre-diabetic. She also prescribed a battery of tests" which took 7 vials to collect. In the end, she didn't diagnose me any differently than Dr.
so I returned to him. I realize that the Atlanta Magazine lists her among the top endocrinologists but she certainly was abrasive with me. I left feeling she was interested in getting a lot of tests run on a lab rat (me).

has been treating me for 5 years and my thyroid condition seems to be under control. It took a couple of years for him to find the right dosage for me." Main thing that I think helped is the exercise and diet I'm on which is not his program. The weight comes off slowly but that keeps me on the regimen. Only thing that would want others to know is that he is not an aggressive endocrinologist pushing lots of tests and different medications. He checks my thyroid but I have to ask that my blood tests also check my A1C. I often wonder if his academic background limits his treatment of me but I don't think he sees me as a clinical study patient. At one time I got a second opinion from Dr.
but returned to Dr.
. Will review Dr.
separately. Word of caution about health insurance: He does not participate in many insurance plans. I believe he's limited to UnitedHealthcare and BC/BS.

"I can't say enough good things about Dr.
. His level of care and expertise I have never experienced with other providers. My wife and son are patients as" well. I think of him as a friend of our family and I'm sure all his patients do as well. I'm happy to grow old and go through life with him at my side.

He is wonderful. I don't have a problem getting an appointment. I don't think I have ever waited longer then 15 or 20 minutes and his staff are all nice. He has really good communication skills.

I’m a retired nurse and a lot of the nurses that I worked with, also go to her. I can always call and get her appointment but sometimes my appointments are longer than what I would like as she is a very very busy doctor. I rate her highly and I would use her again in the future.

He sent me downstairs to the lab (NICE! Right in the same building - the girl there was terrific! She used to be a hair dresser, but has been doing the lab job for years)TWO DAYS later, Dr.

is friendly, upbeat and efficient. He caught the abnormal results of a lab test that another doctor missed. I felt confident in his treatment. I waited a bit long in the waiting room and the receptionist is a little surly, but other staff members are nice.

I have been seeing him now for almost 6 years. Additionally he helped me manage my blood sugars during my pregnancy and I saw him every three weeks. Although he can be brief when he meets with you, he is knowledgable and accurate and warms up after he knows you for awhile!
