"In the three times I saw this doctor, he never once took a complete medical history. He simply increased the dosage of the injectible medication,

and sent me on my way. Office visits were very short and he was very proud of the fact that this office had over 5000 patients. During one visit, I was showing symptoms of low blood surgar and neither he nor the office nurse knew what was wrong. He kept insisting that
could not cause low blood surgar when in fact the company who makes the medication says its the number 1 side effect. Doctor seems totally clueless. His office staff said we owed a deductible on our last visit which has not been paid, when in fact, I have the cancelled check for the service. Stay away from this doctor. He is clueless and possiblly dangerous. He tried to update his medical records on our last visit there by asking me what dosage medication I was on. Would never recommend this guy to anyone

"very attentive, listen to everything I said, great relating to the problems, listens, didn't rush, took her time,

As always Dr.
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
treated me with professionalism and compassion. His medical treatment is way above any other physician. At my first appointment with him in November of 1996 he discovered a growth on my thyroid which he followed. It ended up being malignant and due to the discovery I am still here today and have been allowed to raise my precious daughter who was only 2 and 1/2 at the time. I am sure that no other doctor would have found it. He is very thorough.

I was scheduled to meet with an insulin pump rep to go over my new insulin pump and sensor. When I went to check in I was
informed that I wasn't going to be trained since they didn't set up the training and it was lunch time (actually is was an hour and 15 minutes prior to their posted lunch hours). This training had been set up a week in advance and I was never notified of any change or cancellation. I had made all the arrangements needed to be there since it is out of town. After their lunch I went back into the office I was told that the rep was there this morning but since I was a 'no show' the appointment was cancelled and the rep is now gone.
This topped a continuing issue with an office staff that has in the past had a high staff turnover (with exception of the Office Manager who had been the receptionist and billing) lost paperwork, forgotten paperwork (requiring multiple request) doubled billed for office visits, excessive wait times, and now cancellation of a needed class. I was flustered; worried about being called a no show for an appointment I showed up for, and upset about being misinformed to about the pump rep. I wanted to speak with someone about why I wasn't to be trained, was it just because they didn't set it up or were they upset that I was choosing a different vendor than the one they promote. When I broached the subject with the office staff she walked down the hall announcing "SHE"S HERE" which did nothing for my mood, I informed them that yes I was here and that the office manager was inept in her ability to properly manage the office.
My husband contacted the diabetic supply representative who told me she was indeed in the office and not informed of my presence in the waiting room. She was told that she could train me in a public location (possible HIPAA issue not to mention loss of dignity and privacy) but not in his office. My husband tried to contact Dr.
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
to inform him of the behavior and performance of his staff and a message was given to me to tell him not to contact Dr.
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
or his office ever again.
I received a call from the Nurse Practitioner the next day and we had agreed that the office manager and I would move forward and be civil towards one another and I assumed the matter was closed. The following week I received a certified letter from Dr.
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
informing me that I was a difficult patient and was not to be given any further medical care by him. I was, as a relatively new type one insulin dependent diabetic abandoned by the physician who only heard one side of the story, his office staff.
I find it appalling that a professional would assume that his staff is guiltless and that a patient who was stressed, on a new medical device, and mistreated, is being hostile by calling his staff inept. When did standing up for yourself and refusing to be bullied in your own healthcare constitute being difficult. As a retired advanced practice nurse, I can only shutter to think what happens to the uninitiated and uninformed patients. This is the reason for my posting.

Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
was the only Dr. I saw, out of many, who was actually familiar with neuroendocrine dysfunction caused by a concussion.
He ordered the tests and proved that I was suffering from hypopituitarism.
He has been extremely good at figuring which meds I need and how to adjust the dosages of medications that I need based on my symptoms and blood levels. I feel like he really listens to me and takes the time to provide me with exceptional treatment.
Since I live in the LA Metro area, I'm able to make and have appointments with him via email which is extremely convenient.
My quality of life has improved vastly since I started seeing and getting treatment from Dr.

My health is 100 percent improved since seeing Dr.
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
. He has been there for me for the last 10 years. He fixed my spasmodic torticollis. He also helped me get my liver functioning properly. When you are in his office he makes you feel like the most important person to him and you know he is paying attention to details.

I'm a long time patient with
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
's disease. As a result of his genius, he is extremely busy. Therefore, his assistant is extremely busy and it can sometime be difficult to get past the assistant to get in contact with him. However, I completely understand and seeing him is worth it 100 times over. They both do an amazing job considering the major workload. Dr.

After surgery, she received all the reports and we called to scheduled a follow up for my son. That was about March 27. They scheduled an appointment for May 15. We were shocked that he had to wait so long. After a few weeks, he was doing so terrible that we called to beg to increase his
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
and it took her one week and 4 messages to get a new script to the pharmacy.(She went on vacation without signing it and no one else could do it!) She did not ask to see him or do any blood work and switched him from generic to brand name because she never asked what he left the hospital with. We had to go through more hoops to get it switched back to generic. After a few more weeks he was doing even worse and was barely eating since he was so tired. We finally switched to a new endocrinologist in desperation and found out that his TSH level, would should have been near 0, was actually 65! He shouldn't have been driving or working, he was so disabled. His prescription was immediately changed. In the meantime I called to leave a message to cancel his appointment. When they called back, the woman asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said "No, we're switching to someone who actually cares." She said "oh" and hung up on me.

I would not wish her on my worst enemy. The first visit was nice enough and she seemed caring. Next visit she had fired all her staff and the new people were incompetent and rude. She has zero communication skills, billing is a mess (never got a real breakdown of what I paid, she just billed my credit card), horrible bed side manner, even misdiagnosed me and performed a procedure days after when it should have happened because she was busy. After going to a competent doctor I regret that I ever dealt with
Hamden Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
. She delayed our whole process by months and is just taking advantage of desperate people. Stay away!!

These are NOT medical Doctors, They are Chiropractors. They may have the theory, they may have written a book, but the therapy is all smoke and mirrors. Taking 32 all natural pills a day does not address illness by itself. If therapy is hitting yourself with a new toilet brush or sitting in a lazy boy with a shock therapy on your feet sounds good go for it. How about the old jiggle machine your grandmother used. At an average of $10,000 dollars for treatment, I say RUN!!!! to the Cleveland Clinic. MASSIVE SCAM!!!! Run!
I've ending up with addition issues because all the pills were very h****** the kidneys. Again, these people have NO Endocrine Medical training, they are dispensing high end OTC natural supplements. Very Sad...
