The crew arrived as scheduled, and did good, careful work under the supervision of
, the foreman.
, the owner, was present for long periods several times each day, and frequently reminded us that if we found anything that was not to our satisfaction, to let him know so it could be corrected..
We reviewed job progress each day, and any errors or problems noted were quickly corrected. Although there was initially a mismatch in the texture of the patch work, this was soon rectified.
I highly recommend this company. Their main concern is that the customer be satisfied with the work.
The crew cleaned up after themselves throughout the day, and made a final sweep at the end of the day to ensure everything was right before they left.
Offers Senior Citizen or Angie's List discount. This job includes a 10 year warranty on material and labor, including repair of any future defects that develop (not including natural disasters, of course.)

The painter did excellent work. The trim edges are very sharp and the entire house looks really great. When the job was nearly finished I did my own walk around and then one with him. He pointed out every minor flaw that I saw and then some. All were fixed and the job looks awesome. I am extremely satisfied with the job he did. The estimator was a challenge to work with. When she came out to do the estimate we talked about what I wanted. I asked for separate quotes for the whole job (the house, house trim and the shed), just the trim and a breakout of the two porches. We talked about changing the house color but I wanted to keep it the same. She asked if we wanted to change the door color saying it would be easy and only take an extra
. I said we’d think about it but let her know when we provided
colors. When I got the estimate it was for someone else’s house! When I finally got MY bid it had the whole house and the trim, nothing about the porches. So I had to email her again asking for that information. I asked what to do about getting her the color choices and she told me to take my leftover paint to any
and they would tell me what color it was. I did that and when I got there (I have a 2 year old and a 4 week old so it takes some effort to get out of the house) they told me it was a waste of time because they figure out the color when they are making
for the painters. So that was a wild goose chase she sent me on. Then the weather turned cold and I didn’t hear from her for 10 days. Finally the weather was forecasted to be warmer and on Sunday I had to get in contact with her to suggest her team come out to start work. She said it was hard to get a hold of people on Sunday but she’d try again on Monday and the power washer would start then. Why did I have to make that call? Shouldn’t she have been looking at the weather to get started as soon as possible? That was what I expected. The washer did come though he was an hour later than he said he’d be. He washed the house and took
templates to place
order for the job. At that time I gave him
color choice for the door because we had decided to change its color. Because of bad weather,
crew didn’t show up until two days later. With that, they didn’t show up until 1230 on a beautiful day wasting the entire morning. They started stripping the deck of all its paint and did about 1/3 of the deck. The next two days were the weekend and the weather was great. I didn’t see or hear from the painters. Apparently the lead painter was having health issues but that wasn’t communicated to me until I called to ask if they were ever going to do any work. They sent out a new crew on Monday and the job started rolling. The new painter asked if we wanted to re-do the weather stripping around the garage. It looked awful so I said yes. I had to call the estimator to work it out. Then when the painter got to the front door he asked if we wanted him to work on it. I was under the impression that it was part of the job but he said I had to call the estimator. When I checked my estimate it wasn’t on there so I had to pay extra to get that done as well. Later, the painter asked me what the
of red paint was for. I said it was for the front door. It turned out that the door we have is a special door that requires a special stain and using paint on it would ruin it! Overall the communication was very poor and I felt nickel and dimed for things that should have been hammered out during the estimate process. Painting a house is expensive but it is worse when you are misled about what the final cost will be. The estimator did not let me know what to expect throughout the process, people were late (except the final painter who worked both weekend days), and critical information was missing for all parties. For a company that prides itself on customer service, my experience was poor. While the actual paint job was exceptional, because of the horrible communication I would not recommend
to anyone.

In general the work was very good and completed the job in a short amount of time. They also were great about working around our schedule and did our bedroom when we needed to handle some errands. I felt that the price was very good for the amount of wall area and outdoor trim to be painted. I ran into to only a few minor issues. 1. A couple of small paint drops were dripped inadvertently onto some tile in a bathroom 2. Same bathroom had a small area (0.5-1") of the wall in the corner between two door trims that didn't get painted and I didn't noticed until after I did the walk through with 5 Star. 3. I paid cash and there were delays with getting an invoice paid in full. Bottom line is that I would use them again and the only thing I would do differently is not pay in cash as they're not setup well to handle cash payments.

Quote received and approved; general date set (had to work around our holiday plans). They showed up, did the work under the time estimated, gathered up their things (very little cleanup as they are soooo meticulous!) took their check and voila! new wall paint! And so you know, they're great people!

did a good job. The workers were all very kind and really did show they were interested in making sure the job was done the way I wanted. The only problem that I had is that when they were done, there was paint on the carpet and I had some clean up work to do.

sent a team of three people to do all of the painting for the job. The team was friendly and courteous. They also treated my house with respect and were very easy to deal with.
We had to leave one day to run an errand and while we were gone they did the master bedroom and bath. This allowed us to effectively use those rooms that night after we returned.
It took the team about four days to complete the entire job and if I had done it the task would have taken me weeks. All of the borders to the wood trim and ceilings were masked off and resulted in really clean lines. There were no paint spills or cleanup issues. The whole experience was very pleasant.
Bottom line if I ever need to paint this house or any other house I would hire them again.
