They know what they're doing, they do it at a fair price and they do it right the first time.
They also give a 15 year warranty on the work and 30 year on all materials.

I had contacted
contact me on October 1 to schedule a gutter cleaning. I discussed what I had
and we settled on a price: $150. He did not call on October 1.
I called him again and he apologized and thanked me. He said
that the recent floods in Colorado have figuratively swamped him. He said he’d
be in Longmont, Colorado the morning of Oct 7, 2013 and would call me in the
morning to schedule a meeting.
At 10 a.m. I had no call so I called him. He again
apologized and said he’d be there at noon.
At 1 p.m. I called again and he apologized again and said
that a client in
would be at my place at 2 p.m..
I made a mad dash to deal with one of my clients and cut my
visit short to be back home for
arrived home at 1:45. No call or appearance by 2:30. I called again.
He apologized again and said he’d be there by 4 p.m.. He
said that he felt really badly that he kept me waiting all day and that my
gutter cleaning service would be free. I didn’t believe him.
I called – again! - at 4:10 p.m. to tell him to not bother. “I’m
two minutes away.” Indeed he was. He arrived at 4:12.
Two people showed up in a rented truck: A man in his 50s and
a man in his late 20s. “I’m so sorry. My
regular truck is in the shop. My transmission is dead.” The older man is

young man. The young man caught it with no problems and proceeded to take
pictures of my gutters. “Hey, man, your gutters are pretty clean.” The pictures
(received later that evening by email) confirmed what the young man had said.
The young man found one dirty gutter as well as some
incorrectly installed flashing. He installed new flashing as well as cleaning
out the gutter. He then found one incorrectly installed “corner gutter”. He
installed it correctly after opening it up and shaking out the embedded debris.
The entire cleanout and repair took 30 minutes.
My wife had the checkbook. “Ok. Follow me to the bank and I
will pay you.”
“No. I told you this would be free. I really really feel bad
that I kept you waiting all day,” said
“Well, at least let me pay the young man for his services,”
“How about you pay him $20 and we’ll call it even?”
I was astonished.
Professionalism means taking responsibility for ones
actions. Yes, he kept me waiting unnecessarily all day and he should have
called to give me updates. But he lived up to his obligations and more.
He told me that because my gutters were so clean (they had
not been cleaned out in at least 3 years) that a cleanout wouldn’t be necessary
for another 3 years.
That’s ok. I’ll hire him next year to reinspect and clean.
I truly was impressed with his competence and professionalism.
I highly recommend him.
Make sure you have all day to wait, though.
He provided a very reasonable quote, said he could tell exactly where the leak was coming from, and said they could remove and then replace the same siding. They completed the work within about 3 hours. The crew worked very hard, were very polite and respectful. They ended up replacing a fair amount of the roof surrounding the
The only reason I gave them a B for professionalism is that the crew brought a microwave for their lunch, and plugged it in to cook their food. Didn't bother me at all, in fact I thought it was humorous, but some people might not like that. I'll definitely keep them on my short list if I have more work in the future.”
