Revitalizing masonry and brick in a historic home

While searching for new homes, Brad Begle and his wife, Mary, instantly fell in love with the interior of a newly remodeled Victorian-era home in Lincoln Park. However, years of faulty repairs on the outside of the red-brick 1880s home had left the exterior in poor shape.

The Portland family wanted to add some unique outdoor elements to their new home. So they hired Matt Goddard of Poetry in Stone to install a path and a backyard seating area with a sunken fire pit.
