"Actually, he didn't cost me $75. We had some repair work done in the garage and after they left we tried closing our door with the "button mount"" closer and also within the car. None of them worked. I called the company since they had sometime ago installed a new garage door opener inside and outside of the garage. Told him what the problem was and he quickly identified it that the safety "eye" must have been moved which prevented the door to properly close. Once I rotated the "eye" it worked with no problem. I thanked his desire to answer the problem over the phone and prevented us having to have a $75 service call. This is commendable service on their part. Very honest folks and highly recommend for their integrity.

"I called
and he came to fix my garage door the very same day! Efficient and attention to detail. He's a perfectionist and gone out of" his way to make sure everything works fine. I had a very old garage door from the last owner of the house and had it fixed by another guy before which was wrongly done. It caused the motor to fry!!
fixed all the mess left by the other guy, replaced parts and now I have a working garage door again! Definitely recommending him to friends and family! Thanks a lot!

I think he is trying to upsell you on something you don't need, or their company policy is neer fix, always replace - some companies are in that mode not, to prevent future call-backs when it does not work.

IF only needs screws, sounds like a good do it yourself job with self-tapping sheet metal screws. Or a Handyman could do for maybe $50-70 if that is all that is needed.

If the weatherstrip is damaged and in on the front edge of the garage door, one other possibility - replace with one like this, or screw a bottom compression type rubber weatherstrip on the bottom of the door - actually work a lot better than the face-mounted ones anyway, in my opinion. Look like this from M-D Building Products and Frost King among others. Can also be used nailed to frame to flap contacts door face as an edge and top weatherstrip -

Maintanence is going to vary by how much you use the door.  If it is used multiple times a day as cars go in and out I recommend having it checked annually.  You want someone to lube all of the proper points and inspect the rollers for wear or damage.  You don't want a component of that door failing and falling on yourself or a child.  Sometimes tracks need to be adjusted or realigned for various reasons.  Also, the springs can weaken and break causing the door to fall.  Have those checked as well.

I purchased an Amazon certificate to get garage door examined and the rollers replaced for 99.00. Precision was punctual, very professional, cleaned up after, and made recommendations. The recommendations were documented and sent to me via email for reference. The tech was not pushy when I denied to replace the garage door opener. I will go back to Precision in the future.

lAr be came out rebalanced my door lubricated and checked that all was good. He said it was. Door is fine should last a few more years before I would need to think about needing anything and did not charge me. Had another service come out who said all was bad and garage door needed complete over haul. Soi I had ARbe my original installer come out to give estimate. They did what this other service provider Precision was to do and did not charge me. So if you need anything garage door related call AR be honest and professional.

Service man came out. Said the original garage door installer did shoddy work. Used cheap materials and cut corners. Wanted me to do a complete over haul of the garage door. $600 vs the 99 I paid for a tune up and new rollers. Said I would need to think about it and would be calling the original installer AR Be doors about warranty. So I just got the rollers I was supposed to get and tune up. Lubricate and such. I had AR be doors come out for a recheck and estimate/ service provider said no lubrication where it was supposed to be. I did not mention anything about it. Ar be came out rebalanced my door lubricated and checked that all was good. He said it was. Door is fine should last a few more years before I would need to think about needing anything and did not charge me.

showed up early after calling to say he was on his way. Great. He asked if there were any particular problems and I told him about the clunking/popping sound and unevenness when it opened. Before 2 mins had gone by he had found the culprit to be a broken hinge. He popped the panel back into place, replaced the hinge, the rollers, lubed and tested it - all within a matter of 20 mins.! Outstanding. Reviewed everything with me upon completion and had a few things to let us know.
He pointed out the bar that held the springs was bent/warped, probably from a previous repair at some point. He said it wasn't anything to be too concerned about at this time, but that the door would be even quieter if that were corrected. He said just to watch it and let him know when we were ready to replace it. Perfect. He also pointed out that this door was no longer being made, and let me know about some deficiencies in the manufacturing and products used. Just something to keep an eye on.
Very pleasant guy, on time, professional and prepared. Knows what he's doing and doesn't oversell. Just the way you want it. Oh - and he didn't point it out but on the bottom of the receipt he wrote in: 3yrs parts and labor guaranteed. Excellent.

came out to fix my garage door, which had a broken torsion spring and one of the cables had come off the roller. He arrived during the time window set up the day before with
Gypsum Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
. He replaced my broken torsion spring with two new springs and performed a host of other repairs such as fixing the faulty wiring in one of my garage door senors (which kept the door from going down due to a bad connection), replacing a few missing screws in my opener (which made it a lot quieter) and inspected the rollers. He did not try to push anything or make a sale pitch at all. He gave me an honest assessment of what needed to be replaced and what could wait a few more years before replacement. The price was exactly what he stated before he began the work and he was done in just a little over an hour. If I ever run into any garage door issues again, I will definitely be giving them a call!

they were prompt, but from the beginning they found more problems than I even thought possible
they tried to over sell me, just wanted the usual check up I have every year, but they said I the whole
motor need replaced, and I had them fix what I thought they explained well. They tried to sell new motors
but old one still working.

arrived right on time as scheduled. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it in less than one hour. Also did a tune up on the door and helped getting the light and remote opener working. A very satisfactory experience.

I purchased a deal from angies list and the company responded promptly with a time they could perform the service. Tlhey showed up when expected and did all the required maintenance on my doors which had been jumping out of the track due to a bent roller. The door works fine nowand the price was great.
