Roofing Reviews in Grand Junction

came out and did a thorough evaluation of our (not quite) 3 year old roof that was put on by another provider. That roof had begun leaking before it was 2 years old!!
gave us an estimate on what it would cost to rip off and replace that "old" roof of $8700. They were very easy to get in touch with prior to the job starting, during the job and afterwards for questions. When they ripped the roof off, there were additional repairs that needed to be made, and that did not add to the cost of the estimate. The roofers that were out here for the three days the job took, were professional, very nice and on time and hard working. We have not found a single nail in our yard!!!! I can't say enough good things about this roofing company, and guess what?? No more leaks!!!
- Mark H.

The crew tore off several layers of old asphalt shingles, and they allowed me to help with the tear-off to reduce my overall cost. They repaired a sagging overhang above my front door, and replaced soffits as needed. They also added more soffit vents to improve circulation in attic and to bring it to code. They were able to take care of everything I needed done. They take pride in their work, and it shows. They were a great group to work with, they came as strangers and left as friends.

Roofing reviews in Grand Junction

We determined the general location of the leak ourselves, while the roof was still draining after the storm. We joined Angie's List, which we had been putting off, to try and locate a reputable roofer, from the long list of possibilities in the phone book. We called several large roofing companies on the List, and none answered the phone or returned our call within a few hours. We then called
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, who had a nice website, but only one review on the List. They not only answered the phone, but agreed to come out later the same day to look at the problem and provide an estimate.
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
arrived exactly when he said he would and decided that badly cracked, old roofing cement in a complex roofing area was the source of the problem. His conclusion seemed logical, and his price was reasonable ($135) to repair the cracked cement and apply a water-proofing compound over adjacent roofing areas. The next day, he came back to do the work, and again he arrived exactly when he said he would. He suggested a "hose test" the following day. Again, he arrived exactly when promised and performed the test for 5 minutes or so, and the problem seemed to be solved. However, after he left, I decided to perform a longer test, to give the leak more time to show-up. After about 10 minutes, the leak reappeared, as bad as ever. After a little further investigation, I was able to find an area where the original roofer had apparently failed to install the necessary metal flashing. I applied a little more roofing cement in that area and repeated the hose test. Problem solved! I called
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, and he arrived promptly the fourth time to look over the situation again. He agreed that missing flashing was the problem and offered to install it at no additional cost. I decided to leave well enough alone and declined his offer. Although
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
did not actually fix our leak problem, I gave him a "A" rating due to his punctuality, price and willingness to stick with the problem. The work he did was what
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
me to properly diagnose/fix the problem myself. I would use him again. One thing I learned during the course of this episode is that he is also a handyman, who does work other than roofing. That was not obvious to me from his website. However, it did not hinder his response to my problem, and I might use him for something other than roofing in the future.

Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
far exceeded any expectations I had going into the project! I couldn't be happier with the finished project!!!!
I received 3 bids to reroof my 1950's
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked

being the last bid. To be honest after
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
's (the owner) first visit my husband and I had already decided to use him if his bid came anywhere near the others just because of his personality and professionalism and after receiving his bid the decision was final - his bid came in close to $2000 under the others! They provided us with a detailed list of expenses and of the work that would be done in writing so there was no confusion from the get go, which was perfect.

pulled all required permits, set up inspections, aquired the dumpster and ordered all supplies - having them delivered the day before the project was to begin. All we had to do was pick the shingle color! From day one to the end of my project
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew were some of the nicest and most professional guys I have ever had work on my house. They were extremely punctual, curtious and always professional - they even cleaned the work site everyday before leaving, which was greatly appreciated!

and his crew finished on time and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The new roof looks beautiful! I would highly recommend
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
to anyone looking for any roofing needs. I have referred them to two people already!

They were going to set it way out if for a "bid only" but came out next day when we said a repair order. $123 for the gentleman to inspect, inform us of what was the ongoing issue, and spread tar along the seam of the roof where the main dwelling meets the garage. We later received a bid for fixing the leak by reroofing the areas where the
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
comes off the main dwelling and where the garage meets the main dwelling. Have not done any comparison shopping, so do NOT know if it was a fair bid or not. Called
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
based on their excellent reputation and good reviews on this list, as well, but at that time we were unaware that they were under new ownership. May have to comparison shop at this point because we don't know if their bill and bid are staying within what is currently fair pricing. He admitted that the black tar on our desert sand 10 yr old roof would not look very good, but it should stop some leakage until the specific roofing in the valleys is replaced.

They scheduled an appointment only after I called them and left messages after I had paid for a special for $85 through Angie's List for roof inspection and gutter clean. After finally scheduling a time to do the job, they called the day of the scheduled appointment and canceled because someone was sick.
Never heard from them again.
- Lynda B.

There were a few red flags, unfinished edging, gutter not attached correctly, and a few other details. He did repair when called. In the Spring of 2013 we had heavy rain and there was significant leaking over entry way and front door. I was not satisfied with his initial attempt to "patch" the roof. Called a second roofer. They recommended repairs to roof over entry way and 2 other locations, the chimney and around the swamp cooler. This should have been done correctly the first time. Mr
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
had the lowest bid, but with the additional work, I should have gone with the higher bidders.
Another red flag was he goes by Affordable Roofing also. In addition, he would not tell me his insurance carrier name after the first leak.

This is my second post,
Its now been about 20 weeks, my roof is mostly done.
it is leaking where my porch roof meets the 2nd story walk way, they say it is the porch's problem not a roof leak? (REALLY) I have no flashing on the shed roof, which would be ok if the wood on the roofing was not showing, but they did not hang the metal over the

of the plywood. The soffit and the OSB is exposed. They,
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
tried to say they were doing me a favor by roofing the sheds, the problem is I WAS THERE WITH THE ADJUSTOR WHEN THE ADJUSTOR SAID HE WAS COVERING BOTH SHEDS. The adjustor represents the insurance company.
Last week I went into there office
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
because I had some things (missing) when they cleaned up around my house, saying the job was complete. IE box of my nails which they admitted taking, and I still do not have back.
I caught them loading up MY two ladders which they used the entire time (with out permission) roofing my house?
I have ran over so far 3 nails from them not picking up all of the screws and nails left in my driveway. I have been picking them up for weeks, I found another two hand full of nails yesterday by one of the sheds which is why I had one of the nails in my
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
Deer mower. I left them so this Oct. the 16 when the adjustor which asked to be present during the final walk through and myself can point out the nails and screws still left in my driveways after being told several times they had workers go out to my place using a magnet to pick all of the nails and screws up. It simply has not happened. The adjustor told me not to pay them the remainder until all is made right. The adjustor asked to be present on the finial walk through.
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
was fixing my shed roof it needed some new 2X4's they used MY extension cord without permission, which when they got done they left it outside plugged in by my back shed. I was not aware of them using it or was I aware they left it plugged in. The result of this was while it was raining a week or so ago my breaker to my office and freezer full of meat kept going off, I just happened to notice it before the meat was spoiled. I tried to figure it out and called a contractor friend to help me figure it out. We were unable to find the problem. I had to call a licensed electrician Barns Electric to come out. He spent a couple hours and could not find the problem, but the breaker seemed to stop going off. A couple days later it rained again and the breaker went off again. I happened to go out by my back shed and found my extension cord plugged into the same circuit laying outside in the rain right where they were sawing the wood. After picking up the extension cord the breaker stopped going off. My bill from the electrician was $250.00
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
said they will pay it.
While I was at there office last week the conversation with the owner got VARY HEATED, I was sure we were going to blows, he got into my face and was yelling at me saying he was going to
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
me for not paying! and that I could not prove what was taken form my property. I told him I did not know what else was missing, the door to my back shed with all of my tools was open? The roofers asked if it was alright to go into the shed because of the way the roof needed repaired I did say ok. That door that was left open was also where I found the rest of the nails and screws still left on the ground. The owner threatened to
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
me and place a lean on my property if I did not pay him the balance, which of as right now I have not.
Over all I hope no one else goes through what I'm still going through. I gave them 3 D's but really it should stay all F's I am a business owner in the service industry and I have more patience then most people. Since my ordeal is still not over I may write a finial review when and if it will ever be over.

I worked with
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
to replace the old roof on my Mom's carport. I live in a different state but
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
's responsiveness and attention to detail made me feel his company was the right choice. They did a terrific job making my Mom feel comfortable with the work they were going to do on her house. I talked with her last week (Sept. 2013) and the roof has held up well with no leaks through the August rainy season.

They did a great job for us. We have a large home that was built in the 1970s. It had 35 + year old double
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, thick cedar shake roof on it. We called
Grand Junction Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, they came out quickly and we received their bid within a day or two after calling them. We agreed on a price and he told us when they could start. There were no change of start dates. They came when they said they would. The bid said they'd start on a Monday and be done on a Friday. They were done by Friday morning.
They disposed of all the old cedar shake and old tar paper. They cleaned up after themselves every day.
The roof was replaced with asphalt shingles. They also added metal fascia.
When they were done, everything was clean. Not even a stray nail was left behind. They were very professional. We have recommended them to others and will continue to recommend them.
