Did a satisfactory job. I had had a backup. Primary problem diagnosed and treated. Made some suggestions about improving my basement drain as it appeared more problems which certainly might contribute to the backup I had. However, I did not follow those suggestions yet and have had no problems in the following 5 months or so. As I recall there was no scheduling or punctuality problem.

was recommended by a friend. I called him the day before, and he schedule the service next day. He called when he was on the way, showed up in the scheduled time frame. Very professional service, explained everything that needed to be done. Kitchen and downstairs bathroom were both clogged.
drained both, and made sure his fix was working. Upstairs tub was running slow, he unclogged it for no charge. He also replaced a rusty old pipe ring for no charge.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Very good service and reasonable prices.

I thought the toilette was going to overflow and it kept running and the shut off valve was stripped. I did not want a huge water bill or to waste water. I had bought a toilette on sale and was planning to have it installed. Called a few places here in Cedar Park and no one could come. Found

in the phone book and they where able to send out a plumber.
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
was awesome. He was very professional, nice, and answered all my crazy questions. Next time I need a plumber I will request him. Also, I was pleased with the price.

and his helper were at our house 30 minutes after we called the company. They knew how important it was since we had towels all over the hall. They were very professional and nice. They checked under the house and the attic. After checking all over the place, he found a pin size hole in the water line in the attic. He cut it and replaced the line and they vacuum the water from the hall and left everything very neat. Excellent job and workers.

I had had another plumber look at this job awhile back, but after several attempts to get him out to perform work he would not respond to us, I feel he may have under bid the job, and it wasn't going to be worth it to him. I had
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
from
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
out and he said he would do the job for the same price as the other plumber had quoted. We ended up needing some other little things done and he did it without charging any extra fee. I have had some issues in the past with contractors and let me just say this CO. is one of the best I've ever worked with.
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
is the only person I dealt with from start to finish and he performs all the work himself, He cleaned up and was extremely cordial and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate to call him in the future for any of our plumbing work

Bill arrived on time and ready to do the work. He was cheerful and wasted no time getting the jobs done by disconnecting both the old dishwasher and gas range. There was a delay with the delivery and he used his time efficiently by going to do another job and came back when the new appliances arrived. I can sing enough praises for his work, which was also neat and tidy. He was a professional through and through, and I'd use the services again. Thank you!

When two of my three toilets started backing up out of the blue and a plunger and line snake didn't make a difference, I knew we were looking at a bigger problem. I was referred to
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
by the plumber friend of an employee of mine who doesn't normally do sewer line work.
I called
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
of
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
in the morning and he was out to my house by the early afternoon. The original quoted fee was $225 to run a camera through and then hydrojet the sewer line, but the cost quickly shot up to $1,250 when it was apparent that 1) my sewer line had tree roots entering it at many pipe junction points and 2) the length of the sewer line was over 180 feet from my house to the street.
My wife had called a few other companies earlier in the day to get some idea of what it might cost to have this work done, but only one was willing to quote us a price ($180 for the first 80 feet, then $0.65 for each additional foot of hydrojetting; this did not include a camera analysis which some companies were advertising as being free but at the same time were not quoting a price for the work).
I was shocked by the $1,250 bid for the work but since this was an emergency I felt I didn't have much time or choice at that point so I went with it. The alternatives would have been to 1) just hydrojet the line (no guaranteed roots cut), which probably would have lasted me 6 months to a year of clog-free operation (but I really didn't want to be "on watch" the entire time thinking that the roots were still there and a backup could happen at any moment) or 2) have a plastic liner put in the pipe from the house to the street (which
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
quoted me would cost $8,500).
5 hours later the work was complete and seeing how much was involved with it, I didn't feel as bad about the price (though I'm still stinging from writing the check; $250 an hour is a pretty high rate of pay). This is dirty, stinky, tiring, often frustrating work that even with my level of home improvement skill I felt was better left to the professionals. (Once I had a
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
to breathe after this entire experience, I found that some companies offer the service for less - one was half the price! - but remember, you don't always get what you pay for, whether you're paying a higher price or a lower one. The true value of the job is in the workmanship and how well the company stands behind it.)
Aside from the high price, the only other thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that so much of my water was used for the job (I estimate 500 gallons - 200 to run through the line to try to unstick the rooter which got hung up on something about 200 feet into the line, and 300 to refill their hydrojet tank, which I didn't think was very fair, especially given that I'm in the top-tier payment schedule for my water company).
At any rate, the work was done, the line cleared (as far as I know; I wasn't given a DVD of the cleared line like some companies give), my toilets flush, and I have a 1-year warranty that no clogs will occur due to tree roots. If I wasn't so under-the-gun with this emergency plumbing situation, I would have taken more time as I usually do and researched other companies more thoroughly - including
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
for whom after the fact I found no reviews and no license info through the state (normally not a good sign in my book) - but sometimes you just have to make an on-the-spot decision and live with it, and that's what I did.
(NOTE:
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
recommended adding RootX in 6 months to
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
any roots that have since grown into the pipe and said that this should keep the line root-free for some time. For appx. $30 a jar, that's a BIG savings over having to re-hydrojet or re-line the sewer pipe...I just have to remember to do it!)

I was very, very impressed. I had held off on calling anyone about the slow drain for FIVE years because I was so worried a plumber would take advantage of us and "not find anything" and keep piling up on the bill. We had another plumber do that a long time ago. So, I simply had my husband use chemicals on it every few weeks and we made do. If I knew it was going to be this easy and cheap, I would have called someone five years ago. I called
Frederick Drain Plumbers Provider Name Locked
around 11a and they were already eager to help me the same day, even though I said it wasn't urgent at all. I picked a time that worked for both of us, and they sent one of the owner's sons, who arrived exactly when I expected him. He was polite, professional and QUICK. He found a cap that had gone down the drain opening (we have an older home with an open drain) within about 10 minutes, and used his equipment to remove it. He offered to clean the very little mess he made, but I refused b/c I preferred to clean it myself. It was so painless. I would be happy to use them again – especially for a clog of any sort.

The service provided was excellent. They were extremely patient, trustworthy and friendly. My mom has zero experience in hiring a contractor to perform services by herself (husband died two weeks ago) and this company was extremely professional and made my mom feel comfortable. They did not try to upsell my mom because they could have easily. They did warn her that he would eventually need to do more invasive work to ensure she is not without water for a long period of time. Their prices were very reasonable as well and they left the work area clean and tidy. I really just wanted to recognize this company for all their great work, but mostly wanted to recognize them for being honest and transparent in the process. Excellent service!

arrived on time. He quickly assessed the situation and gave us the price for each job. He honored his $50 off performed services "Big Deal" and impressed us with how quickly (and cleanly) he did all the requested jobs. We'd had a local "handyman" try and fix our old fixtures -- but they quickly broke.
