"Overall a very good experience. Removed old countertop etc. and installed new countertop and sink one day. Plumber came the following day to hook up the faucet" and garbage disposal. Old sink was a double basin sink and chose a single basin sink for the new install. I didn't realize how large the 24 inch sink would be and would have chosen a smaller (perhaps 20 inch?) sink if were to do all over again. Modifications to the cabinet needed to be made to fit the sink in, and installer did not take the time to finish the modifications cleanly - i.e. the wood wall of the cabinet underneath was cut to fit the under mounted sink, and what remained was splintered and not finished. Although most will not see the inside of the cabinet, was still disappointed the attention to detail was not apparent. I ended up sanding and finishing the area the best I could. The disposal installed does not have the
wrench for when the blades stick but rather a "reset" button. I haven't had to use it yet so am unable to report if the "reset" button is as effective as the
wrench solution.

"Got a preliminary estimate from
, based on my measurements. Based on that, I had their measuring pro come out. He used an impressive laser" measuring system to get everything on the nose. His measurements came out 5 sf more than mine, but his included the backsplash. Picked out the pattern and scheduled install. Installers were early, but
called ahead to make sure it was OK. They had the old stuff out and the new stuff installed in an hour and a half. I was impressed. My only quibble is that they left a bunch of the screws from the old countertop inside my cabinets. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to my neighbors.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

was an A+ class act from start to finish. We drove to their business and were warmly greeted by an associate and took our time picking out our granite piece. When finished they took us through step by step of what to expect and asked if we would like to go pick out our slab. We were also given a generous sample piece to take home to show to family and friends. The price can't be matched, and the installation came with the total. They called and came when they said they would. Did I mention they sent someone out to measure prior to installation free of charge?
The guy that measured was superb and the guys who installed were phenomenal, I would and will be using them again and have already recommended them to family and friends that I know who are in need of granite.

From start to finish we were so very pleased with
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. Once we made the decision to have this work done, Legacy was the only business we visited. We were well taken care of on our first visit and were able to select a granite choice. Then the template was scheduled soon after with the installation taking place on the day of our choice. The installers did a perfect job very efficiently and were great to work with, very polite and professional. The work was completed in 2 days.

I was completely satisfied with the work
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew did for the first year. My husband did notice that our dishwasher stopped functioning correctly after the counter tops were installed, but I didn't think the two things would have anything to do with each other. I did finally call
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and he came right out to check it out. His crew had not properly reinstalled the dishwasher and he seemed happy to fix it. He came again the next day and took care of the problem. That was earlier this year. Two months ago I noticed that what appeared to be mold between the granite and the sink. It appears to be coming from behind the clear sealant. I have repeatedly phoned
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, but he will not return my calls. Last week I called his son
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, the owner of the company. He said that it was probably the black jet sealant leaking through and I should wash it with a 50/50 solution of Clorox and water, but to not get any on the granite. I did try that, but it did not work. He said that it would be an easy fix for his father to take care of and he would have him call me. That was a week ago. I really do not like being lied to and ignored when I am only asking for what I paid for.

did a good job building an addition to our home.

's strengths are in the permitting process with the City and satisfying the Inspector for final sign-offs. Our only complaint would be we wish the building process itself went a little quicker. We believe
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
may have been very busy during our project, as there seems to have been a little building boom in Florida since the economy improved from the mid-late 2000's.

we bought a Angie's List special deal-- vanity, sink and faucet, plus installation for $799. that's a great deal for us considering the countertop alone at a big box store was $800 and installation another $250. we had a nice variety of stone to pick from and it took one week from when i picked the countertop to have it installed. i had to pay $150 extra to demo the old tile vanity top and plumbing isn't part of the deal so we had to install our faucet ourselves. Still, our vanity top looks nice, service was courteous and prompt and it was a great deal.

were very pleasant to deal with. We originally got a quote for cabinets as well, but choose to do that work ourselves. This allowed us to purchase the more expensive and beautiful granite. Even after rejecting their proposal for the cabinets,

was helpful and a pleasure to work with. The countertops were installed in an afternoon and look great. My only complaint (really too strong a word) was the cutting board did not come at the time. It is not as large as I expected considering the size of the piece cut out for the sink.
