The counter top displays are unorganized and they are not sure as to what they have in inventory. We were pushed to go with them due to time constraints on our project. I had serious doubts about the company before they started cutting the stone. I should have went with my gut on this one. The final product that they installed was not satisfactory. As a result, my husband and I met with the owner of the company at the location of the construction site. The owner was very defensive and said that the work met "industry standards". We demanded more clarification on these "industry standards". In the end, the owner of the company said to my husband "You are a big condescending bully", and stomped out of the house. Save yourself a big headache and go elsewhere.

was polite and professional on the phone, offered to come to our house to give us an estimate on the work. He started work on the island the next day, and had it finished in 2 days (one day earlier than estimated), at $25 less than his original estimate of 225.00. He was a pleasure to talk with, and his work was excellent.

They were very easy to deal with, came out to take a look quickly, were able to schedule the work within a few days, were always on time, very courteous and professional. The old laminate surface in both the kitchen and bathroom was peeling up,

looked at it and determined that the wood underneath was fine so we just needed to re-laminate. Someone had cut a hole in the countertop and put a cutting board in, why anyone thought THAT was a good idea I'll never know. They were able to patch the hole for me. Overall a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

There, supposedly, is a five year guarantee on peeling, fading and cracking. The coverage was not good and we definitely have peeling and cracking. I have called them 4 times. They have come out once to look at the situation and will not schedule a repair or redo or whatever. They always have an excuse and the last time I talked to them, I told them they needed to call me to fix the situation (I was tired of hearing excuses or just not calling me bace). I have never heard back and do not intend to call them back again. They do a great job selling themselves and their product, and they are very personable, but their customer service stinks!!! I would not have them do anything again for me because of this.

Mr.
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
has been my "go to guy" anytime I need anything done. He is wonderful to work with because of his honesty, patience, integrity, trustworthyness and he is always professional. I never felt that I was over charged for anything he did and I have spent a lot of money with him. I feel confident in recommending him to anyone.

I have had a business relationship with Mr.

since 1997 when I hired him to finish my basement. He was very patient and understanding to work with and accepted my changes to the plans with no objection. He wanted it to be the way I wanted it. He helped when I remodeled my kitchen and worked with my contractor by making custom cabinetry and getting everything set up for the countertops. All the work he has done for me has been done to perfection. He is always on time, calls if he gets delalyed and get all the jobs accomplished in a timely manner.

helped us select the tile, and passed on a discount. The quality of his installation was excellent. The master bath has several sharp

Excellent! It was planned very very well. The work was begun one afternoon and completed and totally cleaned up by the next day in time to prepare dinner. There were absolutely no problems with any of the process and we are certainly pleased with

We originally consulted
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
from a different state, as the property we owned and wanted fixed up wasn't in Colorado. He went to see the tenant we had living in the property and was described as punctual, polite, and professional. We had at least another highly rated Angie's List company come out to give an estimate, and his was 1/3 (yes, you read that right, one third) the price of the competition for the same product. We immediately made the decision to hire
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, and were able to set up everything from afar - the timing, the price, the specifics of the countertop, and the backsplash. He was very easy to get in contact with and came right on time after we showed up in Colorado. He worked tirelessly for two days and got the

up in the kitchen and bathroom (he built them ON SITE - which to me is very impressive), and then started on the backsplash. He got the bathroom backsplash placed without grout (this one was far smaller than the kitchen) and then started to work on the backsplash in the kitchen when the line froze on the tile cutter. He immediately came in and told us, and stated he would be back in three days to finish. We were honestly somewhat skeptical, however he left some very expensive tools at our house as collateral to assure us. He came back promptly three days later (including driving quite a distance through a snow piled road that included two wrecks and lots of traffic) and finished promptly on time before we had to leave town. The finished product looked amazing - so much so that our realtor listed the property 5% higher than she thought she would be able to. We were thrilled to work with

and would absolutely recommend him to anyone in the future!

Overall I was not happy. First, I was relocating from the East Coast and I needed my house to have at least one livable space when I arrived. I was OK with the work not being completely done; I just asked that there be one bedroom and one bathroom that I could live in while the rest of the work continued. Well, when I arrived, none of that had been done. Not one of the toilets had been hooked up, not one sink, and there were carpet strips over all the house with the tacks exposed so I and my pets could not walk safely. I partly understand the carpet situation because the carpeting was backordered, but I had to have some place to live. I feel that Cornerstone could have put the old carpet back into one bedroom just to help me out. I had to board my dog and 3 cats because of this and also had to live at a friend's house for several days, which cost me a lot of money and inconvenienced my friend. Cornerstone did not offer to reimburse me. I also need to mention that their work on my carpet was shoddy and their response to my complaints was poor. After installation, I noticed that the edges on the carpet were fraying. When I asked about it, I was told "Oh, new carpets always

. Just clip it off." Then when I was vacuuming a downstairs room, I noticed a large half-moon shaped gap between the carpet and the wall. When I put my hand into the defect to look at it, the carpet pulled right up off the floor. It had not even been tacked down. I tried all the edges and it was like the carpet had just been rolled out and that was it. They didn't seal the edges (thus the fraying), they didn't stretch it (thus the half moon cut

) and they didn't even nail it down. It was literally just laying on the subfloor. When I complained again, the owner got a carpet repair specialist to come in and fix it, and he even commented on how poor the work was. I also had trouble with the owner taking responsibility for final touch-ups. There were places on the walls that hadn't been painted, the plumbers hadn't put caps over the large screws holding toilets to the floor, there were lots of little things like that. I asked several times for these things to be finished, and when the owner finally showed up, he was, OK I'll just say it, rude. With a heavy sigh, he said "OK, what do you need done?" then he just slapped paint on the wall and hurried through the rest. If I hadn't had such a bad experience with the carpet and the final touchup, I would give Cornerstone a good review. Other than those things, their work was good, especially the backsplashes, which are very well done. The problems I had and the hoops I had to jump through to get them resolved tainted the whole process, however. Because of that, I can't in good conscience give them a good recommendation.

There was a delay getting the requested material but that was the supplier's fault, not

The day of installation was a bit scary, watching the old counter being broken up to be carted off. They were very careful about disconnecting everything under the sink. They cleaned up every step of the way. It took six guys to bring the new countertop up the stairs and into the kitchen. (this top has a molded in double sink so it is all one unit...very heavy). Shoehorning this in is their strong suit, no gaps and no overlap. Adding the back splash to line up with the existing tile finished the hard part. The table top was a snap. They cleaned and polished up everything. Now for the down side... They do not do plumbing. You will have to hire your own plumber to hook the sink up after. Also one other minor thing... shopping for fixtures for the sink can take as long as selecting the counter top. As for the people at
Fort Collins Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
coustom counter. They were great. Very helpful and patient. I will use them again for other projects.
