Business Description: For the past twenty-five years, I have focused my medical practice on helping the “hard to treat patient.” By hard to treat, I refer to the patients who have lost confidence in today’s impersonal and confusing health-care environment. It’s no secret that most managed care providers (HMOs & PPOs) simply don’t want to take the time to deal with people who are chronically ill. Such indifference can be a real problem for people who are seeking answers to their health questions -- and viable solutions for improving their well-being. In this era of 10 minute office visits we remember that the information gathered from listening, touching, empathizing and spending time with our patients ultimately is much more revealing and rewarding.
