"He is excellent and very skilled. He worked in tandem with my general dentist. He His whole staff was great and put me at ease. I would highly recommend him and I would definitely use him again.

-Kathleen D.

"I had a high anxiety of going to the dentist based on a prior experience with an extremely painful root canal. I told Dr
of my concerns and" he was very understanding and asked a lot of follow up questions. He reassured me that it should not hurt and if anything was uncomfortable that I needed to let him know so he could stop. I also told him I was afraid I wasn't taking to the numbing medicine. Because of this, he gave me an extra numbing shot and I couldn't feel any pain throughout the procedure. It was the most relaxing (as relaxing as the dentist could be) procedure I have had. He completed the root canal and filling in one visit.

Oral Surgery reviews in Alamosa

After waiting in waiting room for 3 1/2 hours past our appointment time, the desk person explained to me that the doctor had left for the day and refused to see my wife, who was in pain an needed a tooth extraction. When I first arrived, the I asked the person behind the counter what the cost was going to be based on my insurance and also informed her that my wife did not want anesthesia. The woman immediately became belligerent and looked at me like I was scum. Later she told me that the X-Rays provided by my dentist were not good enough and that we would need new ones. I asked her why they were good enough for the dentist to do extensive work on my wife's mouth, but not good enough for this office. The woman stated that "perhaps you should go elsewhere". I told her that my wife was in pain and needed to be seen right away. We waited and waited. I kept asking her when my wife would be seen, but she indicated that if I should go elsewhere (implying, if I did not want to wait). Finally, after three and a half hours I asked to see the dentist, to which she said he had left. She dragged us along the whole time, only to refuse service after making us wait as punishment for questioning the billing. I felt she was belligerent from the beginning and I think it was because she was a white lady and my wife was Chinese. Do not use this doctor until he cleans up the very bad staff in the office. I saw more than one disappointed face leaving the office in the over three hours of sitting there.

was my dentist for years and his staff is awesome. I compare Dr.
Alamosa Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
to an artist. He is passionate about his work and really knows what he is doing. I would not recommend him for complex problems however, especially if you are on a budget. When I was looking into complete extractions and dentures I was naturally very nervous and had a lot of questions. Between the extreme life change and cost I wanted to know all my options and did quite a bit of research on my own. At first Dr.
Alamosa Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
was very patient and explained things very well. After 3 consultations (all paid for) with question and answer sessions he started to become impatient with the ideas I discovered from my research for a multi-phase approach. It became apparent that it was literally his way or the highway when after the 3rd consultation I received a letter stating he thought it wise to sever our relationship. Naturally, I was disappointed at the loss of a decade of great service to both me and my family but it was his choice to end things. I myself am now a patient of Affordable Dentures and couldn't be happier (and saved myself $7K compared to Dr.

's office now and say they are very friendly and gentle there.

Took 4 months for total treatment. Estimated time was 1 month. Very expensive. After they received their money up-front they don't seem to care. Never called me when dental work arrived at office. Dental hygienist 6 month cleaning never showed up after 35 minute wait. Changed dentist and they gave my new dentist a difficult time when my new dental office requested xrays since it was too soon on insurance. My new dentist did xrays free!

has absolutely NO communication within their office!

My husband and I have been using him for 8 years for our dental needs. His staff is very friendly and they get to know you as a patient looking at your complete health. He is great and he knows his limits and has no problem sending you to the right people when necessary. They also have very nice and up to date equipment. Both dental hygienists are very friendly and do a thorough job. It is a very nice dental office to go to and we plan to continue using them.

My husband and I had a very unpleasant experience with this office. While we both liked Dr.

, insurance claims were filed 18 months after the date of service, unbeknownst to us, and as a result denied by our insurance. As a result, we weren't given the opportunity to self-file. We pay a lot of money to carry health and dental insurance and to find out an in-network provider doesn't file claims in a timely manner is upsetting. The office maintains claims are filed on date of service but in or case that wasn't true. It's disheartening to be treated like a delinquent when all you're trying to do is get someone to return a phone call. At the advice of the Central Florida Dental Association, I sent a certified letter, which was rejected by the office. In the end, we paid the bill, as unethical as it seemed for them to collect for their incompetence, just to make the issue go away since it wasn't worth attorney fees to fight this. Just be aware and make sure all your claims go through on time. They will be happy to take your money, but you're out of luck if trying to discuss a billing issue.
- Cara R.

Owner was late for every appointment. Poor communication between her and supervisor. Quality of workmanship poor and needed our constant supervision. Very few ideas from designer, and was not involved and not available once the job had begun.
- Lori E.

Very bad experience at this office. Do not recommend. I was referred by my general-practice DDS and should have done more 'homework' before undergoing procedure here. The office does not handle or submit insurance. They require full payment immediately after the procedure(s) while you are still reeling from the effects of the surgery and local anesthesia. They did not tell me this before the procedure and do not give a written estimate. You must sign an electronic form on an iPad with pages of medical release, waivers and ballpark costs. The individual handling billing could not have been more impersonal or uncaring. Dr

's business partner was an excellent communicator but I was not aware that it was less than a year since he finished his medical practice residency. Dr

was unavailable and the business partner performed the tooth extraction and implant procedure.

I like his attention to detail. He has done some major work for me as well as teeth cleanings and fillings. They are about to do my wife’s partials. The staff is very polite and easy to deal with.
