" We had some miscommunication for the first appointment. It was for 3:00 PM on a Friday, and I was clear that I was not able to be home sooner. They apparently" called at 1:30 and said they had finished their earlier job and wanted to come over, but since I wasn't home they would go to another job and then come to my house. I found that voicemail when I arrived home just before 3:00. I did not hear from them again, and called at 5:30 - got voicemail. Later I found a message from them on my cellphone (I had not given them that number, as it doesn't ring in the house - but I had called them from the road so they must have used caller ID) that they couldn’t make it in time, and wanted to come Saturday morning. I called them to confirm because I had to know whether to stay home on Saturday morning, but they did not call me until Saturday afternoon. They ended up coming Monday morning. Four men came to fix the sink! I know nothing about this kind of repair, but so far it looks like they did a very good job.

"Kitchen Savers was prompt, efficient and professional. The finished job looks fantastic. One caveat is that I strongly suggest you include all the items you will" likely want done in the original work order. We did this and found our "nice to haves" were reasonably priced, and we're very glad we added them on the original contract. However, we did think off a couple of minor things, and found that change orders tended to be pricey. Having said that, I would have no hesitation hiring this company for future work.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

Countertop Installation reviews in Alamosa

Liam L. was the person who worked with me on the sale. He was extraordinary! What a professional... If you find a competitor's price, Liam will look at the estimate and do his best to come close to matching it. I felt I got a fantastic deal but I also feel like they did well on the sale as well... exactly what should happen with a sale. ...More /> Installation went smoothly and was very prompt.

9, 2015. They came to install and broke the biggest piece of granite before even arriving at our home. Another was ordered. Once the new granite came in, they came to install. Once they left, my dishwasher would no longer close, and my kitchen sink leaked. We had new sinks and faucets installed by them. WE TRIED TO CONTACT this company by way of phone calls, messages left on voicemail, text messages, going to the actual place of business, we went to his Parents title company, which is located directly in front of his business, to inquire, to no avail. We had to hire a plumber to come fix the mistakes they left. The plumber could not believe how this company left the plumbing under the sink, and he was not surprised we had leaks. To this day, we have not heard from

Outstanding. By this point in our addition project and kitchen remodel, we decided to start to get other options from what our contractor was providing. A friend we knew recommended

recommended a much lower priced granite we were looking at, that looked about 99% like the extremely expensive one we had selected. This saved almost 4,000 dollars on this project. Installation folks were good. The kitchen countertops look beautiful The process worked as I wish all construction business transactions should. We received good service, product was delivered on time, product was good quality, installed correctly, and we paid the vendor as promised.

is extremely easy to work with and responds quickly to emails, texts and phone calls so you are never left waiting for answers. His crew was professional and did an amazing job protecting the house and installing the countertop.

The granite looks great and the quality of installation is excellent. However, the quoted price was significantly higher than what was advertised. I was then told that the lower price was only valid for people who order a minimum of 50 sq ft of granite. They also over charged me an extra short piece of backsplash. When I contacted them later via email, no one ever replied.
