"It was an amazing experience!!! From start to finish the 2 ladies were beyond professional. I was very uneasy about hiring an Interior Designer but they made the" experience so delightful. I purchased an older home that needed each room handled with care. The colors of my home now flow and are a continuous look of serenity. I love coming home everyday! We started by discussing what my likes and dislikes were. They took pictures and then sent out two students to measure the rooms. The students were so friendly and easy to work with. They actually helped me move my sofa while they were there. They most certainly didn't need too but were more than willing to help. Once
DePyper and
received my measurements, they developed designs for each space. The design boards were emailed to me and then we spoke on the phone about each design element. The process was very schedule friendly. They worked with me so that I could talk to them during my lunch hour or in the evenings. I've never met two more professional and friendly souls. My husband and I have a vacation home in OBX and the ladies are now working on a design for that house as well. It's great because they don't need to go there to develop the design. I have the floor plans so measurements aren't an issue and it is such a fun experience. When I began the design process I was nervous and worried. Now I wish I had another house so I could keep working with both
and
. i wouldn't hesitate a second to hire them both again!

I know you said you didn't want a realtor but I do know someone who is good.  Her name is Pam Hunt and she is with William E. Wood.

Otherwise I would check out interior designers.  They could make suggestions and outline some finer details that could help you stage your home.

In the meantime start packing away those personal momentos and pictures.  Clear and clean the walls.  Go with a neutral paint color throughout the house.  Oyster by Behr is a classic.  Start getting rid of clutter.  If you haven't worn it in 3 years or used it in 5....pitch it.  Depending on how long you have lived in your home the accumulation of "things" could be tremendous. Donate your unwanted and unused to a thrift store.  It is tax deductible. Get appliances off the counters in the kitchen.  Buyers want to imagine "their" things sitting there.  Get rid of heavy drapes and go with  sheers consistent throughout the house.  Make rooms look larger by chucking some furniture.  Sell it or put it in storage until you have moved.  How is the floor?   Carpet removed may reveal beautiful hardwoods that are in high demand right now.  Pets?  Get someone to come give you the "sniff" test.  We grow acustomed to the smell of our house and might not recognize pet stinkies. Make everything shine by cleaning thoroughly, and let in the light.  Bright rooms are inviting.  Dark rooms are depressing. These things will give you a head start and clear your mind for some good ides.  Good luck with your interior designer.

I have lost count of how many kitchens I have remodeled and I prefer Brushed Stainless Steel sinks. Polished will show scratched more  and with the brushed finish if you wipe with the grain with a milld scrub pad and an old time product called Bar Keepers Friend the look good almost forever. If you have any concerns about scratches in the bottom you can use a grid when needed, most sink manufacturers make them for their sinks. You say you have stains in a solid surface siink and it is probably the older generation. The newer ones have a high stone content to the mix and are less prone to this but I still prefer stainless.

Unclutterer had a post about this a few months back. While I didn't use the photo gallery method she suggested, I did check out the comments to find some other interesting solutions: http://unclutterer.com/2011/04/04/easily-hang-an-organized-photo-gallery-with-the-perfectpicturewall/

They gave me a date they would do the work and explained how long the work would do. They rescheduled for a sooner date, and they were extremely prompt! We ran into some issues, and the service provider took care of it as fast as he could. He also took care of some extra interior things I needed done. I was extremely pleased. They were excellent! I highly recommend this company.

arrived on time for our 2 hour consultation. He listened to our wants and needs and made many great suggestions. We
are working on remodeling our master bathroom and
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
gave us great ideas for our shower, new cabins, mirrors, floors,
window covers etc. He has a good eye for design and for color. We are in the beginning stages of this remodel and not sure
how soon we will start, but I will probably rehire
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
to get his design ideas down on paper before I move forward.

I LOVE
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
!! I was overwhelmed with the projects I wanted to get done in my house, I can't do everything at one time. I have been doing smaller projects but to put it all together --- I had no idea.
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
came in and looked at everything I had done and wanted to do. My biggest project was my laundry room, I had an idea but she had much better ones, ideas that I never would have thought of on my own. She called her "people" who would do the work right there while standing in my laundryroom!
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
asked if things were possible and what was entailed, I was so impressed.
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
also came back when the contractor came to look at the options. The contractor was so nice, I can't wait to work with him. So excited for my project, I feel very confident that it's the best decision to put the machines upstairs in my linen closet (can't wait!).
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
also gave me phone numbers of people who could help me pick out furniture, counters and painters etc. she was very, very, nice -- I told her she was my new best friend -- Very happy.
I will have no problem calling
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
for help with future projects, she is worth every penny.

came to my house and evaluated the sideboard and gave me an estimate for repairs. We agreed on the estimated price and the piece was taken to
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
for repair. Due to the amount of repair needed on the sideboard, we were given an approximate date for completion. The work was completed almost six weeks before the estimated date and we were totally amazed at the conclusion of the job. The piece looked brand new!! The degree of professionalism shown by
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
and the people at
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
was phenomenal. We would highly recommend
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
for any type of furniture repair and would definitely use their services in the future.

Cliff project-managed the numerous subcontractors (electrical, glass, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, marble restoration, painting) involved in the effort and, although the project took several weeks longer than originally planned, as it started right before the hectic holiday season, we are very pleased with the results.

Tile House is VERY customer-oriented and creative, and we will definitely be bringing them back for our next bathroom design project down the road (or, rather, down the hall!) One of the best local firms we've had the pleasure to do business with. Their store is fun to visit too, and you can spot lots of interesting features from the building's own Bartlesville past!

My husband and I hired
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
after a referral from a neighbor who had recently worked with
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
to re-design her kitchen. It was a fabulous transformation from a 1980’s palette to an elegant, rich, stained-wood look that increased the functionality without changing the footprint. I was headed in the opposite direction: from a small, cramped natural-pine and paint to a bump out that required completely gutting the existing kitchen and nearly doubled the square footage, plus I wanted white cabinetry and lots of
light. I handed
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
my decades old “Dream Kitchen” file (we’ve lived in the same house since 1986) and linked her
to my kitchen files on Pinterest and Houzz.
She took all of that information and distilled into the gorgeous, functional, spacious, light-filled heaven that is my new kitchen. (See it at Wendyobrienid.com—it’s the Cottage Kitchen.
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
’t laugh too much at the Before photo, you’ll hurt my feelings.)
That is her genius—she listens to your ideas and hears your hearts desire. We couldn’t be happier.
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
’s attention to detail, her drive to see you get what you are after, her work ethic and ability to communicate well with contractors couldn’t have been better. She showed us options we wouldn’t have even looked at on our own, such as our hardwood flooring, which is one of our favorite pieces of the puzzle now. Plus, she referred us to
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
at Eight Inch Nails Construction, who is an absolute jewel.
Valley Springs Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
is worth the investment. Snap her up.

First impressions were brilliant. Cold called Paulanne and was greeted with a warm confident connection ready to listen to my dreams of brightening a loft-high ceiling in my condo. She was patient with understanding my desires, complimenting a very contemporary condo building, and understood the long-term impacts of a rather expensive investment. She was very responsive via phone, text, and email to all my questions, and she would reach out when she needed to clarify my intent. Keep in mind; I trusted her to lead this project from afar (1K miles away) with tenants. She delivered immensely and without any cause of alarm. My tenants were very appreciative of her courtesy with minimizing impacts to them as she measured, took necessary pictures for me, and arranged the installation around their busy schedules. Paulanne is a blessing.
