"I have worked with many contractors and
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
has been the best.
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
kept his word from day 1 and completed an exceptional job before the deadline. His secret is not only his pleasant and at the same time professional interaction but also his crew. This crew has been on time, clean, respectful, hard-working and most important of all performed a top notch workmanship. They addressed details that I could have missed and they could have covered, but no they went out of their way to make sure even the minutiae would be perfect. We hired them to reconstruct our garage which came out amazing and we also added a beautiful room plus a balcony. We recommended
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and will continue to recommend him to our friends and family.

"Nir and his crew did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen. They started on the agreed date, arrived every morning by 8 and cleaned up and left at 4. The quality was excellent, the price was fair and there were no extras charged on the job. They finished the job in a little under 2 weeks and dealt well with the usual surprises remodeling an old condo provides. He has a bit of a backlog of projects so you may have to wait a bit for him to be able to start.
I don't recommend getting multiple bids and then hiring the cheapest contractor. Choose someone with a good reputation and a fair price. Contracting on price only is the best way I know of getting either a shoddy job or lots of extra charges at the end.

"The repairman arrived late due to an accident on the freeway. The office did call me to let me know. I showed him the area that needed to be reparied. He asked me if I had some of the supplies I thought he would have brought for drywall repair such as tape and texturing. He said the company should have told me to provide this, and I indicated no one told me anything. Eventually, he ran out to Home Depot which took over an hour, and came back with the proper supplies. He finished the job in the time allotted. It is an adequate job. It was in my laundry room behind the appliances so I wasn't so concerned about how it looks. If I had been concerned about that, the job wouldn't have been satisfactory.

"How did it go? It went smooth. It went fast. It went without haggling. It went without complaints from me, my wife, or from Avi...the owner of
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. In short, we could not be happier in how our bathroom turned out and in our selection of contractor. Bless Angie's List for leading us to Avi....we'd have never known about him or his company without it. Now for our details. We live in a house in Westlake Village that has a wonderful view of the
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
Valley. It was custom built in 1970 in what I can only describe as Palm Springs Modern. Large floor to ceiling windows front the house and look out toward the swimming pool and large lawn area. The master bathroom is off the master bedroom on the ground floor. We purchased from the child of the original owner so I have the original plans and know the history somewhat. When the house was built they took advantage of the view but when furnishing/decorating the house they forgot all about the modern look of the house and went for a shabby chic look. The bathroom had a soffit over a ornate white double sink vanity that was only tall enough for elves. I'm told that was the mid-century style by some people, but I've toured homes all over Palm Springs and none are built like this. The vanity was topped in a solid slab of white marble and a extra large step-up

tub is also topped with matching marble slabs. The floor was carpeted with white wool carpet and the shower, which may have been roomy in 1970, was only about 4'x4' with walls that went to the ceiling and a conventional sliding shower door. We knew that if we were going to enjoy this house, the master bathroom had to be redone. Last summer (2013) we shopped around for contractors and received 2 bids. Both were in the same range. After choosing a contractor that has a nice storefront in
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
Park we began working with his "designer." We were excited at first because she said she would lead us through the process and help us pick out material, etc... She turned out to be less a designer and more of an engineer, but the only words in her vocabulary seemed to be, "it can't be done!" If we suggested a medicine cabinet, it couldn't be done. If we suggested a real wood vanity, it was going to increase the price significantly. If we wanted flat facing on the vanity with no
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
...it couldn't be done. We were getting frustrated and getting nowhere. Then, out of the blue, after 2 months of working with her, she informs us that the price to do the job had gone up from $16,500 to $24,000. All of this, and we really hadn't changed anything from our original estimate. We felt ripped off, even if it was only our time. We wanted to have the job completed by the end of summer...and this company had wasted our entire summer. That's when I began my

on Angie's List.
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came with rave ratings and reviews, so I called Avi and asked him to give us an estimate. Avi showed up on time, as he has consistently done throughout our entire remodel. My wife and I were immediately drawn to him because he is what we all know as a happy person. He looks like a nice guy, no sneer, no frown, just smiles and all very sincere. If you're thinking that is because he is a salesman, you're thinking the same as me when we first met. But after 6 weeks of working with him and seeing him 4-5 times a week, that smile and warmth has never faded. Even the contractor that he brought in to install the glass shower enclosure commented to me, "I like working with your contractor (Avi). He is a happy man." Avi's estimate was completely in line with the other estimates I'd received so I knew that he'd thought it through. He also showed my wife and me all his insurance and workmen's comp papers and contractor's license. He promised that there would be no surprises, like upping the cost of the job by 70% and that he doesn't nickel and dime on minor changes like adding a fixture here or there. After he began the job he even suggested adding electrical outlets or upgrading the lighting, all at about 25% of the cost an electrician would have charged. And some things he did for free just because he wanted it to look better. We were working on a budget and told Avi we wanted to keep our old vanity and just reface it. He knew that we'd never be happy with a reface. The drawers were sticky and old, the cabinets felt flimsy and didn't hang right and it was short! He convinced us that for less than $1000 more we could get a brand new 8 foot custom made vanity made from maple and stained to match the wood in the rest of the house. It would have self closing drawers and slide outs in the cabinets. We wanted him to save the 8' x 2' slab of marble because it matched the marble on the
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
tub that we weren't touching. He was able to get it off in one piece and fit it to the new vanity....and it looks spectacular. He broke the two sinks getting it out but promptly went out and bought brand new ones at no charge and with no complaints. His crew installed the shower and it's so much more roomy than the old shower and the light pours in through the glass enclosure. Everything in our bathroom is perfect...the shower tile is marble with a 1" tile white marble strip and built in shower caddy that he suggested. The lights are all on dimmers and the bathroom is like something out of an architectural book. Avi and his crew always showed up on time or called if they were going to be late. They stayed with the job until completed and were clean and mindful of our pets. We would hire Avi again in a heartbeat...in fact we already have. He is redoing our stairs and stair rail. After that we may figure out something else for him to do....so if you can't reach him it's because we've got him and we might not let him go.

renovated my home and did a fantastic job. Painted interior and exterior, re-did all electrical and lighting, installed surround sound and entertainment system. The attention to details was amazing. It was as if I had my own personal interior designer move into my home and beautify the entire home. Cheers to Nir and his crew.

"After a little bouncing between between company staff, the owner contacted me and it went well. I received professional treatment and respect.( I was unhappy with the hourly charge after the deal was used; $75.00 per hour.) I also would suggest that the homeowner, who is supplying materials, be told more approximately what should be purchased. ( Taking time to go to hardware stores is counted against the hours). Fortunately, I know about this, and was able to have the materials on hand, except for one large board, critical to the project. I rummaged though my basement and found a board and we did not have to waste time on a trip to Home Depot. Also, I had to supply tools to the technician who surprisly did not carry a 'rip saw' on his truck. This was odd as this was a fascia job and it it known this tool is used. I sound like I'm griping, but these are suggestions for the next person. I liked these people and they worked very hard.

"I must say how impressed we were with their professionalism and the time frame that was promised to complete the project. They were in constant communication with us and on top of everything. We hired a general contractor because we didn't want to have to manage the project ourselves, and
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
really helped us out with that aspect. Our experience was great overall and we have recommended several people over to them. Since the project finished, we had a small problem with the plumbing work that was done but when we called the office, they sent someone out that same day. Their plumber figured out what the issue was and they took care of it, even though it was over a year since they finished the project for us and our warranty was already expired. That just comes to show what a great company this really is. I couldn't say it any better.

was the worst experience, I have ever had with any contractor working on my home. I hugely regreat hiring this company! My house looks terrible!! He promises the world and doesnt deliver. He doesnt supervise his crews or actively watch the job, so the work is shoddy at best. He installed cabinets that were crooked, not hung properly, his painter got overspray all over my hardwood floors, windows-painting 101...need I go on!!! Its frustrating when you have to walk with the contractor and point out the most obvious things that arent completed and done correctly. Isnt that why you hire a general?!?!? We had a target deadline that kept extending for weeks because either he didnt have a crew at my home working when promised, didnt care or things had to be re-done time and time again because they were not up to industry standards. I gave him 4 weeks of extra time to complete the job and fix all wrong and at the last walk, he walked off the job. Now, I am stuck cleaning up his mess, repairing his work and finding a new contractor. I have already had a few contractors come bid the" fix" and they are shocked as well! Huge Regret!!!

"Rani
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
, owner of Home Inception, was remarkable. He took the time to sit with me prior to the renovation, kept in touch with me during the renovation and was a professional through and through.
What I appreciated was the ability to make payments, as the project progressed. He did not expect the entire amount paid up front or at the end.
Rani had a great crew, who did not leave a mess when they completed each of their tasks.
He worked with me on the permits and on all the required paperwork needed for my condo association.
If necessary, Rani would come out on a Sunday to see how things were gonig in the kitchen.
My only complaint was about the granite product ... sections did not match with one another and one section had a big black streak; Mr.
Thousand Oaks Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
then replaced the granite to make it right.
What I kept hearing throughout the renovation was, "I want you to like what we do and be happy with the finished product."
I am certainly thrilled with finished product and will gladly refer Home Inception to others.

remodeled our kitchen last year so we decided to have them to our bathrooms this year. It went well, we had one bathroom finished before the other two were done so we were not without. There were no major problems but a few minor ones. The

Highly recommended.
