This is a company with ethics, which is a difficult thing to find in the Moving industry, I will continue to reccommend Marathon to anyone that asks me, despite the misunderstanding !!!
In many years of marriage we had acquired about 135 boxes full of belongings not to mention items too large to fit in any box. floor walk up. We hadn't moved it in years as it was unstable but the guys examined its construction, figured out the best way to move it and it is now sitting on the top floor of our townhouse without a scratch. They problem solve on the move to get your valuables to your new location with speed and care.
These guys were phenomenal. They barely stopped to breathe. Timing was so outstanding, we had time to move further boxes from a storage unit near by and once again, their truck was loaded with all manner of oddly shaped items and delivered to the correct floor of our new home.
We had one small breakage early on when a small glass inset in our coffee table rolled out but as they didn't know it was a separate piece, the table top wasn't wrapped. However, the company dealt with it swiftly and within 48hours a hand delivered check for a replacement was in our hands. A very good measure of customer service.
Insignia model 65D260A13 television. The screen was cracked when they
pulled it out of the moving truck. The television was purchased
08/14/2013, the date it was broken by the movers was 05/28/2014. I have
filed a complaint form with them and still have not received a dime
almost 3 months later.
I have not received any compensation for
the television being broken, I would tell anybody considering using "The
Professionals" moving company to reconsider. I have been waiting 3
months to get reimbursed. I filed the claim the next day after the move,
when I realized the TV was broken. I think its only fair that the
business reimburse me or repair the TV. Karmin

this email. Please complete it at your earliest convenience, attach

insurance company in order to process your claim. We will make every
attempt to settle your claim promptly and efficiently.
