"Arrived ahead of scheduled time. Workers installed wire to solar panel in pipe below ground, solar panel for gate opener to fence. Control panel on pole(that was buried in ground with concrete). And hinges on fence post and gate and gate opener. The owner ,

, also came and helped assist with installation. Everyone did an EXCELLENT, quality job! They did not leave till everything was perfect working order. While this might have seemed a
San Marcos Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
task, there was more involved than it seems. This installation and gate opener are SO MUCH better than the Mighty

"The overall project was done very well, with a minor exception (discussed below). Price seemed very fair. Project required removal of old fence and support structures, including concrete for posts in the ground, as well as constructing new gate compatible with the new fencing. Work was done in cedar, which matches material used on decking around the nearby side and the back of the house. The work was done promptly and with no fanfare. The macro quality is quite good, but there was a minor detail that seemed unnecessary and which requires a small amount of my own work to finish--it was not worth having them come back, but seemed a bit odd considering the quality of the rest of the project. The end of one of the pieces at the gate had been sawed. While the cut looked square, there were large splinters around the

of the end of the wood that could obviously spike somebody who accidentally rubbed against these splinters. Again, it is something I am able to quickly hit with a wood file or sander and can fix, but the same could have been said for them. I did point it out to the gentleman who took me out to the fence and gate when the work was done, but he didn't offer to finish it up, nor did I ask. I still think the job was done very well, overall; it's just that one thing... .

"I am a homeowner who hired a remodeling contractor. The contractor requested a port-a-potty be placed in our driveway. It was delivered and serviced on a regular basis. It never smelled over a 10 week period.
HOWEVER, when it came time to remove the port-a-potty, several calls from the contractor failed to get them to remove the unit. After waiting two weeks from when the contractor first made the request to remove the unit, I as the homeowner called. The office said they were going to pick it up today, but the truck broke down and they would probably get it removed tomorrow, but without a guarantee. That is what they said every time anyone called. I only gave them ONE STAR, since that is the minimum rating.
My homeowners association has notified me to remove the port-a-potty or they will fine me. I am trapped between a lousy company and a stubborn association manager.
DO NOT REGRET hiring this company as we have. We cannot force the company to perform upon a reasonable request. I would like to push it into the street, but they threatened to bill me for any loss. PLEASE use someone else.

"I couldn't be happier. I called Cavalier Fence and requested that someone come out and give me price to replace the chain link fencing around my back yard.
San Marcos Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
arrived the very next day. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, and gave me his price on the spot. I had received an estimate from another company, but Cavalier beat their price, AND said they could do the work the next week, which was what I wanted. Their crew showed up exactly when I was told they would. They were polite and did a great job. Everyone I dealt with at Cavalier was professional and took pride in their work. It was a pleasure working with them, and would highly recommend their services.

"The work was done on time, exactly as he described, and we couldn't be happier. I contacted him a week later for a small change I wanted done and he called right back and was out within a few days to take care of my request. I couldn't recommend him higher.

"The company is quick to give a quote, but takes 6 to 8 weeks to start the job. We hired them initially to do our entire backyard and they did a nice job. So we decided to have them do an additional section. They again made us wait 8 weeks to start and then did the job. The gates on top were level but horizontally the top came nicely together but the bottom had a gap a whole hand wide. The owner came for final payment, I didn't want to pay till he fixed it. He promised me he would definitely do it and even wrote and signed a note on my contract. He never came back to fix it. I called and left messages, no response. I was completely ignored. So if you hire them, don't do final payment unless you are completely happy because once they are paid they won't come back. Signed notes are meaningless.

"It didn't go! He took the money, and never preformed the work. He promised about 10-14 days for delivery, but of course--that didn't happen. He had all kinds of excuses like:
"The powder coating company has a couple of big jobs ahead of you."
"The powder coating company are adventists so they aren't open on Friday."
"I measured wrong, forgot about the slope so have to redo--I'm an old man, I forget."
I asked if he could install everything but the "sloped area," his response was, "We'll see." But of course he didn't.
"Oh, we are going to have to cut your steel posts in half to install." Extra work.
Work was supposed to be done last Monday--he didn't show up, and didn't call.
"Won't be done until . . . ." which then it didn't happen--he would delay again.
I asked if he could send a photo of work already finished, but no he couldn't.
"I'll refund your money if I don't get it done by . . . " he promised. Then, when he didn't even show up--again--I cancelled the contract. He said he would drop a money order off at my mother's home--she lives nearby him. But of course, he did not do so. When I called him he said, "I don't have your money anymore, I can't repay you."

"After getting 3 quotes for removal of old wooden fence and installation of new vinyl fence (~300 linear feet)
San Marcos Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
came to be the lowest price. After reading several reviews on Angies List and BBB I had some concerns. I gave them the job and paid my deposit. There was some communucation delays due to the time of year. I then took the proposal to my
San Marcos Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
for approvals all went well there. There was some back and forth on email with
San Marcos Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
and myself to coordinate the schedule for the work to ensure I had the
San Marcos Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
approval in hand first. The crew came out and in one day completed the work. I was impressed that got the work done with only 2 guys. They did a great job cleaned up and I tipped them well. They did not haul away the ivy which was removed from the old fence. I asked the crew if they would remove and they said they would come back on friday. They did not return on friday, so after a few emails and a couple of weeks later the ivy was removed. My advice would be to clarify all the details in advance. I think I made some assumptions about the work (such as haul away of ivy) and I should have clarified that. All in all it was a good finished product at a great price.
