was easy to reach, came out promptly to make a bid, and once we agreed to proceed, completed the job very quickly. My garage doors are all 15 years old and I only needed to replace one that had been hit by a car. He did a great job of matching the old door. Even though the match is not exact, most people would never notice that one door is slightly different. They just don't make the old doors anymore.

and his son completed the job quickly with no issues or surprises, and even adjusted one of my other doors that was making a noise for free. I would definitely call them again in the future if the need arises.

The technician was relaxed, yet professional. He also gave good counsel on a part of my door that could use optional repair. There was no pressure or "up-selling."

has remained in good repair for the past 15 months since I had this service done.

We called the company numerous times before receiving a "live" person to answer the phone. We set up appointment for Wednesday, September 17, mid-morning. We were requesting adjustment and new bottom seals on our

double and single garage doors. We had no one show. We called and had to again leave messages with the company asking whether our work was going to be done. We received no call backs from the company. Approximately 1 pm we had a call from the person who was just leaving Davenport to come down (about 45 minutes away). We cancelled the work order.

arrived on time (actually a few minutes early), took a look at the broken spring, and replaced both springs. He didn't have to come back -- he did it right then. The repair was quicker than I expected, and I still got to work on time! Highly recommended.

All in all, it wasn’t a negative experience. He was nice enough and he did the job at a decent price (minus the credit card
use charge). I just won’t go back to him in the future and the reasons are as follows:
a. For the first estimate, he was a no call-no show. He had marked it wrong in the calendar. It wouldn’t have been a big
deal except for the fact I had driven to the property (30 min away) with my 11 month old baby. Probably should have just moved on then but he was decently priced so we went ahead and scheduled with him.
b. He was not very friendly. He barely spoke to me and when he did respond, he seemed mostly annoyed by my
presence. When he left after the estimate, he didn’t even say bye and I was just on the outside of
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
. I came out and said, “Are we all set then for the work next week?” He just nodded to acknowledge after seeing me in his rear view
mirror.
c. Worked fine and showed up on time. But, the finished product was not the greatest quality. The door sits about 1 inch
away from
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, so you can see into
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
actually. The doors do open and close fine.
d. When we went to pay, we gave him a credit card and he said he takes credit but there is a 3% charge for using it.
He failed to clearly communicate that the 3% charge would be passed on to us, the customer. This made the price about $25 more than the estimate. Had I known that he would charge us that, I would have gladly just withdrawn the cash to
save the money. Alas, that was not noted anywhere nor told to me upfront for the cost.
e. My husband met him to pay but he only gave us two remotes, even though the price should have had 4 remotes included. He was responsive about this and I said we just needed one more remote so he got that too me and I will program it soon.
Again, all-in-all, it wasn’t a negative experience. He did show up on time, didn’t leave a mess, and he did answer his phone every
time I called so that is certainly to his credit. Just know if you use him, there is a charge for credit cards and he will get the job done. But, I won't be using him again.

When my garage door suddenly quit working on me, I called Precision Garage Doors based on the 5 star reviews on their website. When I called, they informed me of their $85 service fee and scheduled an appointment the same day. When the technician arrived, he supposedly did a 25 point inspection of the door, and recommended that I get a new garage door. When I asked him how long it would take, he said 2 weeks. I told him that we couldn't wait that long for a functioning garage door. He then said he could replace the springs and get the door working again while we made our decision on the new door. He filled out the invoice and I signed it, indicating he recommended a new garage door, but would replace the springs.
After he replaced the springs, for a total cost of $447.00, the garage door still didn't work. That's when he decided that the garage door was not safe to use. When I asked him if I had just paid $447.00 for nothing, he literally laughed and told me yes, but he would take $100 off the price of a new garage door. He asked for the invoice back so that he could write $100 off the price of new door, but he didn't write end up writing that on the invoice. Instead, he changed the invoice to say that the garage door was not safe and should not be used under any conditions. Keep in mind, this is an invoice which I had already signed.
When he left, I called my husband, who was understandably upset about paying $447 with nothing to show for it. When he talked to the manager,
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, she had the nerve to blame me and say that I knew what I was getting into from the start, and that the technician told me from the beginning that the door was unsafe. She even implied that the technician offered me a refund at the time, but that I refused. When my husband asked if a refund was still an option, she said no. She refused to let my husband talk to the owner of the company, and stuck to her story that this was somehow all my fault.
When I called her to tell her my side of the story, I straight out asked her if she honestly believed I would have paid $447 for something I knew from the beginning wouldn't work. She just kept telling me that she has a signed invoice to prove it. When I told her that the invoice had been changed after I signed it, she didn't even deny it! She basically said, well yeah, he found out about it after he replaced the springs. Some 25 point inspection there! I also asked her if she believed I would have refused a refund after the springs didn't work. I'll give her one thing,
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
has no good answers but has certainly been trained to stick by her story!
In the meantime, my husband had called another garage door company to come out. I told her that if the other company fixed my garage door, and if they still wouldn't offer us a refund, that I would have no choice but to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and leave her negative reviews. Her response: I guess you do what you have to do. I told her that I would call her back after the other company left.
When the other company arrived, he was appalled to hear my story. The price he charges for springs is about half. While he also recommended that we get a new door he was easily able to fix the door so that it functioned until we did so. He was able to get us a new door, the very next day, for $700 cheaper.
When I called
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
to let her know this, I gave her yet another
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
to do right by a customer. She blew me off again. This is a shady company with horrible customer service.
Just a warning, if my review is not enough for you to steer clear, you should take the time to read the reviews on their website prior to purchasing anything from them. Every review is grammatically perfect. How is that even possible? I wish I had taken the time to read them before I let Precision Garage Doors walk away with almost $450 that they have no business keeping.

They were extremely responsive and the technician was amazing. Dio did our door and he was so courteous and informative. They are a little pricey but for the quiet opener and the service Dio gave us, it was all worth it. They came on a Thursday and ended up not having the correct part for our particular door, so they came back promptly the next day and completed the work in less than an hour. It was a great experience!
