"Our garage door tension springs broke on Saturday and soon after I contacted
after reading solid reviews. They put me on a brief hold and came back to say the" technician would be over shortly. I mentioned the coupon for $20 off tension spring replacement and was told to have the coupon printed, which I did.
arrived about 30-45 minutes later and was extremely polite and friendly. He went over the repair process and said he could also lubricate the door parts for an additional $40, which I declined. He got to work and about 20 minutes later, was done and said everything went fine and he didn't see any other issues. Here's where the service went off the rails... When I presented
with the coupon he stated that for the discounted price they could not provide the normal 5 year parts warranty--just the 30 day parts/labor warranty. No where on the coupon does it say that by accepting this discount the customer forgoes the protection of the 5 year parts warranty. The card he left behind clearly states the parts are covered by a 5 year warranty. It was a pretty obvious and misguided attempt to recoup the mere $20 value of the coupon. I am pretty amazed that a company would risk their reputation with such unethical tactics. FOR A MEASLY $20! Pathetic way to close a deal, when the actual service was solid. Bottom line, there's no way I would call them again for repairs or an upcoming garage door replacement.

"Our garage had been acting weird and wouldn't consistently go up and down.
(I can't remember the guy's name) came and had it working within just" a few minutes. He explained all the parts and why it wasn't working. He told me which parts usually go out first and what I should be looking for. He didn't try to upsell at all. He arrived on time and was very professional. I would definitely call
again.

"They showed up the next day, fixed the doors and were on their way. My doors are so quiet now I can hardly tell when someone opens them. Their was some extra grease that fell on my" car several times but overall it was a great job..

I think he is trying to upsell you on something you don't need, or their company policy is neer fix, always replace - some companies are in that mode not, to prevent future call-backs when it does not work.

IF only needs screws, sounds like a good do it yourself job with self-tapping sheet metal screws. Or a Handyman could do for maybe $50-70 if that is all that is needed.

If the weatherstrip is damaged and in on the front edge of the garage door, one other possibility - replace with one like this, or screw a bottom compression type rubber weatherstrip on the bottom of the door - actually work a lot better than the face-mounted ones anyway, in my opinion. Look like this from M-D Building Products and Frost King among others. Can also be used nailed to frame to flap contacts door face as an edge and top weatherstrip -

Maintanence is going to vary by how much you use the door.  If it is used multiple times a day as cars go in and out I recommend having it checked annually.  You want someone to lube all of the proper points and inspect the rollers for wear or damage.  You don't want a component of that door failing and falling on yourself or a child.  Sometimes tracks need to be adjusted or realigned for various reasons.  Also, the springs can weaken and break causing the door to fall.  Have those checked as well.

They did a wonderful job. I used the 'contact' page on their website,
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
called me later that day and I received an estimate and brochures on the doors via email the next day. I decided on which door I wanted and called and gave the OK to proceed. They came over the next day to measure and took a deposit and ordered the door. A few days later they called back and said the door had arrived and set up an install appointment. They arrived right on time for all appointments. The install was professional and they cleaned everything up before departing.

Received similar quotes from several A rated garage door providers. Chose
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
because sales rep ("
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
") took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. Being an older home, fitting the new door in place an original heavy wooden door was challenging. Low garage ceiling height, slight left-to-right sag in floor w/respect to door frame, house 220V wire routing in near proximity to door frame, built-in cabinetry near upper rail system, no 110V grounded outlet for new opener, all presented install challenges. He explained how each challenge could be resolved and explained what I could expect. He was right on, and that made the install go more smoothly. Other company salesmen tended to brush me off. One even tried to sell me a high-R door that the catalog clearly stated was not available in the color I wanted.
Knowing it would be complicated, I was present for the install and had to "help" the installer work through some of the issues. A 2nd installer with somewhat more experience arrived and that allowed the job to complete in one day except for trim placement. Some unanticipated wood framing board needed to be be added to the lintel steel plate in order for final trim to be installed, and that work was completed on a quick return visit.
The install work was completed to my satisfaction. The installers cleaned up after themselves and hauled away the old door and all trash. Fit and finish are good for the money. There is a problem with one of the trim molding pieces fitting snugly to the outer door frame, but I was told that time may allow the material to relax into position. If not, I trust
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
would replace or re-install that strip without question.

My husband and I purchased the tuneup special offered by
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
. The door was installed in 2007 and needed some minor adjustments. Their tech came out and made the necessary adjustments, gave me some tips for future care and left the door in much better working order. The special was a good deal and well worth the visit. I would definitely use

again if needed.

Excellent overall experience. From the inital conversation with
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
to set up a Sunday appointment (how is it garage door openers always malfunction at the worst time possible?) through the installation performed by
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
, I was extremely impressed with their customer service, kindness, speed and value. I wasn't expecting to have to replace the unit but when replacing the transmitter didn't work,
San Francisco, Garage Door Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
made quick work of the full installation of a Liftmaster 1/2hp belt drive unit complete with two remotes and an outdoor remote keypad . I would recommend these guys to anyone, and already have done so with my neighbors - they inquired about my experience and were impressed with the value as well.

We called for an appointment not thinking he would suggest same day service (it was a Saturday). He said he was available at 3:00 PM. He arrived on time. The springs on our garage door were broken and the rollers were in bad shape. He, also, fixed the door as it was not opening correctly.
We were very happy with his service and would use him again.

Great service and work! They were very prompt and got back to us very quickly to have someone come out to look at our doors and give us an estimate with different door options. They were able to schedule us within a week, and finished the job in half a day. They took the old doors and springs out, and attached the new doors to our garage door openers. They also hauled all the old stuff away, including an old garage door opener I had sitting in the garage. I would definitely recommend them, and would us them in the future.
