Business Description: I am a certified home inspector through the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). I've been in this field for 30+ years. We are a member of the BBB, SDAR and CREIA. We offer a $25.00 off our inspection fee for all Angie's List Members. Our fees are determined by square footage, year built, slab foundation or crawl. We inspect pools and spas for an additional fee. Our inspections consist of an inspection of the foundation to make sure its not cracked or defective. We will mount the roof to make sure there is no missing shingles or loose metal flashings that cause water intrusion. We inspect the attic areas to look for water stains, identify insulation (if present) We inspect all plumbing areas, bathrooms and kitchen. An infrared camera will be used in these areas to determine if there are any leaks in void areas that can cause mold/mildew. We inspect all exterior and interior areas including the garage, water heater all electrical outlets, heaters, air conditioners (if applicable). Visual photographs are used throughout the inspection. The report may be received the same day by e-mail.
