"Dr.
's staff was very friendly. The doctor was very thorough and took the time to review my medical history, being that I was a new patient. Dr.
" was very receptive to my concerns and took the time to listen. He gave me some sound advice, and I really appreciate that they do blood work in office - rather than send you off to some lab somewhere! That is convenient.

"I've been going to Dr.
for about four or five years, and it's always a joy visiting with her. She's very thorough, she always takes the time" to fully discuss and explain my test results, and she has a very pleasant bedside manner. In fact, it's like talking to a friend rather than a doctor. Furthermore, she's proactive about answering questions which I like, too.

"This was my first time going to them in several years, and it was a good experience. The practice is very modern and offers a comprehensive array of services which means they can do" testing and other procedures in-house which is very convenient. The staff is also friendly and professional, and Dr.
as well as his partner are highly knowledgeable and respected in their fields. In fact, Dr.
correctly refuted another doctor's diagnosis that I had potentially cancerous spots on my thyroid.

I saw this provider three times over the course of about 9 months. I had to wait five months to even get an appointment! In my case it was worth it to go once to determine i did not have a thyroid issue. I will not go again though be ause provider was not a good fit for my treatment goals.

We approached Dr.
San Carlos Diabetic Doctors Provider Name Locked
after we already underwent one IVF cycle at another center. What attracted us to his practice was that it was smaller and he appeared to be more hands on with his patients. At the previous place we went to, we were often handed off to nurses who hard to get a hold of. The downside of his smaller office was that his facilities weren't as professional and he tended to outsource more – whereas our prior facility did more in-house. But we were willing to overlook that for more face time with the doctor.
Before he gave us the green light on the IVF, he ended up performing two surgeries on my wife. The first was to remove some endometriosis that he said she had and the second was to remove a fibroid. He told us that both surgeries were necessary
in order for the IVF to be successful. I always found it odd that our previous treatment center had never brought up the fact that my wife had endometriosis and that it should be removed. Because of our negative experience with that center, I brushed it off. I have read since that the impact of the removal of endometriosis on IVF success is debatable and opinions differ from doctor to
doctor.
Going into the IVF cycle, our opinion of the doctor was still positive but then things began to fall apart as the limitations of the
smaller office began to manifest themselves. When I arrived to the office to deliver my ‘sample’ for the procedure, the lab technician was late and when she finally arrived, she locked her keys in her car. When she finally got in and processed my ‘sample’, her and the doctor assured me that everything was fine and the ‘sample’ was not impacted by the delay. I wanted to believe them but when you’re spending thousands of dollars and dealing with something this sensitive as infertility,
you can’t help but freak out when things like this happen.
For the retrieval and transfer procedures, the doctor sent my wife to the Yale Fertility Center – putting the fate of the treatment in the hands of a team of doctors whom we had never met. Yale is very expensive and you’re pretty much paying for the name. By comparison, The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services, located at the UConn Health Center, is cheaper, closer, and actually has a higher rate of success.
The treatment itself seemed to go well. We got more follicles than we did during our first IVF attempt – a lot more. This gave us a lot of confidence. But this was crushed when Yale called to tell us that only a couple of the follicles were
acceptable for transfer. When we asked why, the doctor at Yale was very terse – as if he was offended by the question. My wife was crying on the phone and the guy was practically yelling at her. Because Yale was not giving us any answers, we asked Dr.

to follow up for us on why so few follicles were viable but he never did.
I understand that some of these details about Yale probably belong in a separate review about Yale. But the facility that a fertility doctor chooses to use for retrieval and transfer is very important. The choice of the place to use was not ours - it was his. And he should be accountable for that choice.
In the end, the treatment was unsuccessful. We ended up going to The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services at Uconn for attempt #3. After looking over our file, our new doctor mentioned that it was strange that we got so many follicles and yet so few turned out to be viable. But they couldn't really look into it too much since the files they got from Dr.

's
office were missing some details.
As for his office staff, his front desk personnel was ok but the girl in charge of insurance billing,
San Carlos Diabetic Doctors Provider Name Locked
, is nearly impossible to work
with. We continued to receive bills from his office long after our last visit. We have reached out to
San Carlos Diabetic Doctors Provider Name Locked
numerous
times to get an explanation. We have left her messages and she has never gotten back to us.
I understand that fertility treatments cannot be guaranteed and I am not writing this negative review because Dr.
San Carlos Diabetic Doctors Provider Name Locked
’s approach did not work. I just want people to be aware that there are tradeoffs with going with a smaller office. And while the doctor is a friendly and pleasant individual, he performs surgeries in advance of the treatment that other doctors might not do, and he uses a more expensive and less-than-impressive facility to perform the two most important steps of the treatment when there are cheaper alternatives available.

They explain everything thoroughly. The visit is nice and pleasant and you don't have to wait a long time. If you have an appointment they see you pretty close to your appointment time. It is just a pleasant experience going to the doctor.

I’ve been using him for about six years. As a doctor, he works with you on solving the medical issues you might have, which is great because it’s not necessarily just something they can give you a pill for, it’s also okay, you can exercise and this might alleviate that or you could use this and this might alleviate that. It’s more than just here’s the pill, I will see you next time or go get to these tests, I will see you next time. He really cares about his patients and he has excellent bedside manner and excellent practice. He is punctual and his staff is friendly.

I do quarterly check ups with him because I am type 2 diabetic. I have been seeing him since I moved down here, and he is a great doctor for being a GP. He really cares about you, really does a nice job, and he takes the time.

He is very good. I did not feel at all intimidated by him. He was very approachable and easy. He had a very good manner and yet very thorough. I trusted him with my care. You cannot get in right away. He is busy, but I think that is a sign of a good doctor. His office environment is good.

She takes her time. She basically spends like almost 45 minutes trying to understand the issue. She's a great doctor. She's very knowledgeable. My experience has been fabulous, outstanding. She's on time. They follow up. It's a small office, just her and two more people. They get back to me when I need them. It's absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend them. I am very, very picky so I did a lot of research before finding her. She's very good so it's very hard to get an appointment with her but once I get an appointment, I'm in.
