Business Description: Thank you for your inquiry. As of Oct 27th, 2011, I am modifying this introduction just a tiny bit. You have many options in choosing a handyman. I will list the many reasons why I believe and many of my repeat clients believe I am a smart choice. First and foremost, I really love what I do and I look forward to the wide array of jobs & challenges that continually come my way. Secondly, making that first sincere impression is very important, so if I don't answer the phone the first time you call, leave a message and I can assure you a return phone call will happen very quickly. Thirdly, I have a high energy level, think quickly on my feet and am very focused on the tasks at hand, which benefits you when it comes time to putting out the dollars per hour. Nobody has ever asked me "Charlie, what's taking so long?" First minor adjustment - as a result of both the excellent exposure that Angies List allows me and the demand for my services, I have found it neccesary to add a full-time assistant. This allows me to continue to control the highest level of quality workmanship, service most of the requests that come my way and stay affordable to most people. The quicker I can get in and out saves you money. Alone my hourly labor rate is based on fifty dollars an hour, however with my trusty side-kick who saves you time and money makes us $85.00 for the pair, a sum most clients agree is well spent. Second small modification, after 17 years as a self employed handyman, I can generally ballpark most estimates with a simple phone call or email. I like to keep my life simple, so do not be surprised or offended if I suggest you email me your list of repairs, sight mostly unseen and get a very truthful and realistic range of repair costs.Third adjustment: WORD OF WARNING: As a direct result of me being the poster child for ADHD, I hyper focus on all my work and all the matters that go along with being the receptionist when you call, the buyer when materials to be purchased, the estimator who puts the dollar amount on your projects and the person who actually performs most of the repairs or improvements. So if I answer the phone during the day when you call, you will most likely feel the nature of me getting to the point quickly, and I make quick decisions whether it is what you want to hear or not.Please do not take it personal, as it is just my way of juggling all the hats I wear so I can keep everyone who hires me as satisfied as the last client. Ask yourself " do I want a guy who answers the phone pretty all the time, or the guy who seems to continually deliver quality work at reasonable prices?" You will find soon enough that if I make a commitment of any sort to you, I rarely fail to follow it through.
