The construction took longer than expected. There was confusion between the windows
submitted to what was actually framed.
This was corrected, but took additional time. The inspector even stated on his final visit
that “this took a long time to finish.”

Our only issues were a bit of a lack of communication on the part of the office/administration in scheduling/follow up, and keeping us informed. On a number of occasions we had to call or email more than once to get someone to respond. Also we were told repeatedly that they would coordinate with Gutter Helmet as we had their product installed on the side of the house that the enclosure was being added to. They did not contact Gutter Helmet and a couple of weeks after the project was finished we contacted Gutter Helmet on our own to come out and install new product on the gutter side of the enclosure. That was disappointing. One last thing - the final draw was charged to us before contacting us to ensure that we were totally happy with the job. That is not a good business practice. But overall, we are happy with the enclosure and would recommend
The project kick-off and actual construction was very timely
There was a delay with permit sign-off as the designs submitted did not match the install. Coastal was slow in getting new designs to county. It took close to a year to finally get the permit cleared and several phone calls and emails to get them moving.
The biggest issue is the quality of the work and willingness to fix the leaks. At first they seem to be responsive but even when they would send folks out to 'fix' the problem the roof continued to leak. They became sporadic in their response and then became non responsive all together. I actually attempted to find resolution with other vendors. However, that didn't work as the 2 vendors I contacted basically told me that Costal needed to fix their own mess. So I re-engaged with Coastal who did come out again a few months ago. The roof continues to leak and again they became unresponsive. I finally had enough after 3.5yrs and reported Coastal to the BBB. The came out a few weeks later, took measurements and told me they were going to work on constructing something that would allow the water to better flow off my roof. However, their response to the BBB was that my roof was leaking because the gutters were full of leaves. I was amazed. No one over the past 3 years told me my roof was leaking because of leaves. Really... I've cleaned the gutters on several occasions but upon reading their response I went out and removed all leaves from the gutters. Later that same day it rained. YES the roof is still leaking. I shot video during the rain storm showing water puddles in the center of my roof above the leak. Still waiting to see what they do or don't do next. It's one thing to have inferior products and workmanship. It's another to have terrible customer services and blame your company's problems on the customer.
My advice is to stay away from using this company. Save yourself, even if it means spending a few more hundred dollars.
