"My husband and I bought an old house and we knew we would have to invest some money into it to make it a warm and cozy home. We were shopping for contractors for about a month. Until Supreme Rmodeling sent Micky, he sat with us for a couple of hours and we both knew we are going to hire them for the job.
We had to replace the floors, paint the walls and ceilings, we also needed a new kitchen and bathroom. We also decided we want to split the large
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
area so we can use the space as a home office.
The job took about two and a half months and it was finished to our satisfaction.
I’d also like to mention the customer service. They responded promptly for any question we had.
I would highly recommend
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
to anyone who shops for contractors. They are real professionals.

"Overall I was pretty unhappy with the experience.
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
fell down on multiple levels. First, it was difficult to communicate with them. My emails and phone messages were not promptly answered and I had to keep after them. There were times I couldn't even leave a voice mail because the salesman's voicemail was full (!). Second, as we went through different quotes, I had to keep an eagle eye on the process because things I had spelled out clearly the first time disappeared in a subsequent quote. This happened multiple times. Because ot this, we had to go through many iterations before they got it right. Third, when they walked the job prior to doing the order (which was at the request of the contractor - a brilliant idea on his part), it was apparent that despite multiple descriptions, photos, and drawings illustrating what we wanted, they had it wrong. Fortunately, we dodged that bullet. However, despite having walked the job, they put the order in even though, because of the way the window hinge works, the open window did NOT meet egress requirement. This we didn't discover until the windows were installed and the inspector came. Fortunately, it was possible to fix this by changing the hinge. To their credit,
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
stated up front that if the window did not meet egress on the second inspection, that they would cover the cost of taking the existing window out, ordering a new one, and installing it. However, this seems like an almost inexcusable mistake that neither the contractor nor
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
picked up on this. These guys are in the business of putting in windows - they should know the regulations by heart. On top of all of this, one of the windows had a cracked sill horn extension. This necessitated ordering a new sill, which stalled the job by a week or two. The contractor claims that this was
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
's fault, but who knows. Even if I ignore this problem, I still think that they deserve, at best, a C.

"Our deck and 3 sets of french doors were very weathered and looked awful.
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
came out (on time) and we received an estimate very quickly. He was able to fit us in to his schedule within a week or two. His workers were prompt, polite and did an excellent job. They did a power wash, sanding, and refinishing--3 coats on the doors. A few boards needed to be replaced on the deck due to cracking and wear. The deck and doors now look beautiful. We couldn't be happier with job they did and the price was absolutely fair.I highly recommend Teak Masters. My neighbor saw the work and will be calling
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
for his deck refinishing job in the future.

"As you can see from my comments above the entire project was done to my satisfaction and even though there were many different items to complete, there was a "system" to get everything done and did not seem to be a lot of wasted time. Another important factor was the fact that the construction areas were left pretty clean every day."

"This was the easiest and most rewarding dealing I've ever had with a contractor.
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
promptly responded to provide an estimate, and arrived at the agreed time. He also called a few minutes prior to let us know he was on his way. I know this is a small thing, but the previous two contractors had rubbed me the wrong way by arriving more than 20 minutes late without notice, comment or apology.

Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
assessed the situation, took measurements, answered all questions asked, and provided a number of good suggestions and alternatives for building the kind of arbor we wanted. He was professional, friendly, and thoroughly explained how the job would be done. He promised to provide an estimate within 24 hours. He told us the job itself would take about three or four days. This surprised me because the previous contractor (highly touted in Angie's list) said it would take two weeks. (Of course, this was the same guy who arrived 45 minutes late for the initial appointment, and took another week just to submit an estimate.) Anyway, after
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
left I had a very good feeling that we had found the right guy for the job.

We received
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
's estimate the very next morning. It was actually two estimates depending on the type of wood and finish we wanted to use. Both estimates were lower than those submitted by the two other contractors. I called him to find out how soon he could commence the job. don't recall exactly, but it was within a week's time which was perfect for us. We signed a contract later that day.

Practically everything went according to plan. Work commenced on the agreed date, and it took three and a half days. The crew always arrived on time, and kept busy every moment they were here. Every time I would peek out the window or go out back, no one was ever standing around. This was a very well-oiled machine.

The job would have only taken three days but for one glitch. Once the arbor was up, I noticed that the posts were offset in a way that was different from the old arbor. Esthetically it sort of bothered me, but there was nothing in the contract that addressed the issue of how the posts would be aligned. For all intents and purposes the new arbor did look good, and to re-set the posts at this stage seemed like it would be a lot of work. I addressed my concern to
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
, and his response was amazing. If I wanted the posts re-set, that's what they would do.

It was the end of the day, and I thought maybe I was just being picky. The new configuration didn't bother my wife, and so I told him I wanted to sleep on it, and would let him know the next morning whether to leave things as they were or not. About an hour later I received a call from
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
. He said he had been thinking about it, and agreed with me about the post placement. It bothered him too. No decision on my part was required. They were simply going to make the necessary corrections the next morning, which of course, they did. He wanted me to be satisfied. There was never a discussion or suggestion about "well, this is going to cost you more money" or anything like that. I can't tell you how impressed I was at this gesture.

The arbor looks great, the roof no longer slants, and I feel safe sitting on my back patio again. Without qualification,
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
will be the first person I call for any future home repair needs.

"
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
was VERY patient with our changes and how long we took to finally make the decision to redo our driveway and backyard (almost a year). The project took 1 week for the driveway and 4 weeks for the deck, trellis, fence, and new lighting, lawn and landscaping. He found the subcontractors, stopped by daily, and whenever we needed someone to solve a problem or fix something if it didn't look right. We're still in touch with him and would work with him again."

"Although the job was a restoration/repair job -- and not a major rebuild --
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
treated me as a highly valued customer. He came to my house personally, give me a detailed estimate (which was EXACTLY what he charged me) and scheduled the work promptly. His crew arrived on time and on-schedule. They completed the job in the time
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
estimated. When I put my house on the
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
two weeks later, the first buyers to see the house were especially taken with the deck and immediately made an offer. While we were in escrow, the buyers requested a few additional repairs to the substructure of the deck. I called
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
, knowing he was very busy with other, more high-paying jobs. He came with a crew at the end of the next work day and knocked out the additional repairs in one hour. The charge was minimal.
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
is honest and hard-working. He understands the value of repeat business and personal referrals. I recommend
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
highly and without reservation.

arrived on time and was very polite even when my wife and I accidentally double booked two contractors to come at the same time. He was very professional and to the point in describing the problem and what it would take to fix it. His men completed the work exactly how he described it would look and they also were very quick and professional. My wife and I were pleased with final outcome. We will definitely be calling
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
for our future home construction needs.

Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
was 1 of 4 A rated Angie's List contractors located nearby that come to our home to give an estimate. 3 of the contractors
gave price estimates within a $3000 range.
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
' was in the middle. The 4th contractor never got back us. We chose to work with
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
for the following reasons:

He seemed very knowledgable and experienced as a builder. During his vist for the estimate, he reallly studied our balcony well and
took the time to explain how he would approach doing the work.. He noticed some details other contractors had not mentioned when
they came to give their estimate. Overall, we felt his personality would be the best fit for us to work with. When
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
presented his
estimate, he was upfront in saying he could not give an exact price for the work because it would be dependent upon how much damage the horizontal metals beams had which could not be determined until the old wooden boards were removed. Intially, this made
us feel a little uneasy, but once we thought about it. it made sense to us. In the end, metal damage was not more than what he was
suspecting and the final cost was within what he intially projected. We liked the fact he was a hands on contractor and did a majority
of the work himself, subbing out just the painting and welding.

During the job itself, he always maintained good communication with us in regards to the progress of the work. Their were times
when he would show up later than he initially said he would, but he always callled to let us know the reason he was being delayed.

The project took a little longer to complete than he initially stated, but it did not exceed maximum allowable time on the contract.
The reasons for the minor delays were understandable. For instance,
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
wanted to obtain some special screws to properly
secure our boards to the metal beams, but it turned out they had to be special ordered from out of state which added a 3-4 day delay
to the project. Lastly, he was very considerate to our out of the ordinary sleep schedule and worked quietly and always cleaned up well
at the end of the day.

Overall we were pleased with our interaction with
Pasadena Deck Builders Provider Name Locked
and would recommend him to others.

"They ended up removing the plastering in the pool. They were really slow. I found out that they were not a real pool company. They removed some concrete on the pool deck that was peeling. It took them a lot of time. They did not know how to do the work, and I ended up showing them how to do it, and it finally got done. I didn’t burn much money. They are only licensed to do concrete work. I tried to salvage the job, but even on interviewing the plaster person I found out that he wasn't qualified. It just did not go the way it should have gone. My experience was an unfortunate one. On their card they said that they did plastering of pools. They misrepresented their services. Their pricing was in line with the estimates that I got from other pool people. I had thought they were honest, but they weren’t. They were also very unprofessional."
