Palo Alto Flooring Installers Reviews

"The work was done fast and the team was very consciencious. The new floors look great.

worked with me on getting the quotes and scheduling done as conveniently as possible, the entire experience was everything you could hope for."

was responsive, efficient, courteous, informative, cleaned up well, and charged what I believe to be a fair price for his work. He did not finish the work in the time frame he promised, but I had added to his task list. I am totally satisfied with his work, and highly recommend his service."
"Bottom line: it went great! Highly recommended. Details: I needed my floors leveled before having bamboo flooring put down. First, it is difficult to find contractors who are willing to level floors. Leveling floors is kind of a tricky business. For example, I needed the bedroom floors brought up, but not so much that I'd have to step down into the bathroom.

gave me a good price, was prompt and courteous, and worked with my other flooring contractor to make sure the floors were level. My floors started out really not level, and when

was done, the other flooring contractor was very pleased with how level the floors were, and so was I. Also, the work was done earlier than I expected. All around, a good experience.
"The job went very smoothly and the results are lovely. Day one was tear-out and laying of the sub-floor. At the end of the day the kitchen was very tidy and there was no impact on the rest of the house. Day two the new floor went down and all of the finishing was done. The team did not hesitate to ask questions or to make recommendations on minor changes as needed. They showed very good attention to detail and it shows in the final results."
"It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with workmen. They were late to the job, they did not have the proper tools, the floor was not properly prepared before installation, and the workmanship was the worst. They came back several times in an attempt to solve the problems, but they only made it worse. They offered to tear out the new floor that they had just installed, but I was afraid that they would destroy my house in the process. I would never recommend them to anyone. They are well intentioned and they promise the world, but they are not capable of delivering anything."
"They didn't pay attention to detail. You can't rely on Diamond certified. They did come back and fix a gap in the floor. They were very rushed, they appeared to be too much of a hurry to pay attention. They left gaps in the baseboard and used filler instead of properly measuring."
"We were very pleased with our experience.

allowed us to take multiple samples home. When we selected the tile we wanted, the order was filled promptly. The installers were pleasant and professional. We're very happy with the results."
"Process went well. They moved a few of the very big pieces which I could not handle alone. Work was done in one day and furniture returned. It looks great and there were no surprises re: cost, ability to do the job, etc.
"We hired
Palo Alto Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to clean and
seal our slate floors indoors and outside.
They charged $7900. Part way
through the job, the worker needed to take some time off for a family need and
promised to complete the job upon return. We have left numerous calls, never returned,
and they never completed the indoor cleaning and did not do the sealing or the
outdoor cleaning or sealing--so they only did approximately 1/4th of the job. Unfortunately we paid them the full amount as
he said he really needed the money and promised to make good on the rest of the
job and we thought they had a good reputation. This is a long time now and still
they do not return our calls.

made numerous promises that he never kept. He did not arrive at the time he committed to, and did not complete the work within the time frame we had agreed upon. In fact, he took 2 weeks longer than planned, costing me half a month's rental income. he would come in, do 2 hours of work, then disappear, often for days at a time. He wouldn't respond to cell phone messages or texts. His voice mailbox was frequently full. He promised one price for hardwood then tried to charge another. He promised to paint the kitchen baseboards and never did. He promised to help with external flashing so flood would not recur but he never did. He left the threshold between LR and BR as a 3/4" white wood strip that everyone tripped over. Had to spend $100 to have that replaced with matching hardwood. He broke the wall heater by pulling out wires and not having them repaired, almost causing a house fire. He promised fault-free work but left behind several visible gashes in the new hardwood. He lied about so many things that I can't even recall them all. With
Palo Alto Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, it was always about saying one thing - smoothly, with a smile - and doing another. don't buy it! Please, whatever you do, do not use this man's company or service. When he's actually installing floors, he does decent work. But getting to that point is such a nightmare that I feel compelled to warn off any potential customers from this unreliable, dishonest provider.
