"The sale itself was an absolute fiasco. He did not provide a detailed list of all items to be sold prior to the auction (which was written in his contract and it's" a state statute), and afterwards gave me a vague list of what was sold so it is impossible for me to reconcile what is known to be missing. I did pretty much did 80% of the prep work including buying boxes and filling them with tons of items, and when the auction occurred and he had an auctioneer here who I never saw his license. We had a lot of items go missing after the auction and since there no detailed list we were never able to reconcile where the discrepancy is. The detailed list should have been provided prior as per the state statute. We have made repeated attempts to get the information from him, both through the state regulating board and attorney, and at this point we are trying to sever the contract and move on, but he is no longer communicating with us or our attorney. He kept pushing an offer about 75,000 less than the current value of the house (and 20,000 less than the reserve price) 2 weeks prior to the auction, but said the person offering could not afford his commision. When the auction occurs ZERO people showed up for auction of the house. I've spoke with different auctioneers and spoke with the auction board and they said it was very odd nobody showed up. We were sold a service that was not provided, the auction itself was not performed in accordance to the state statutes which are currently set by the state DPOR who are currently investigating the matter. If they're this comfortable doing this to me and my senior parents while I was here I can't even imagine what they'd do on their own.

"The tag sale was at our house in Upper
. We did a walk thru with the
's and talked about the sale, and what" we could expect. They promised security before and during the sale, and that we would get an itemized list with the proceeds from the sale. Ayything deemed unsalable would be put aside for us to deal with. We decided to hire them. We moved and turned a key over to them approximately three weeks before the sale. The sale took place as planned. It was held on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They asked us not to be present at the sale because they felt that if a customer knew the owner was on site they would try to deal with the owner rather than the person running the sale. We returned to the house on Sunday expecting most of our items to be gone, but less than half had been sold. Some items were in the trash can outside our house. Prior to the sale, we were told that we would get the list and the check within 7-10 days, but we did not receive it for over 2 weeks, and there was no itemized list, only carbon copies of receipts that were not itemized. We attempted to contact
but got no response, finally sending a certified letter that
responded with a phone call. It turns out the missing items were stolen, or just not written down on the receipts. Neither
actually performed the sale, they had their daughter
Stolzenbach running the sale, and threw her under the bus for the stolen and missing items, and the receipts not being itemized. During the walk thru prior to the sale, we asked if they were bonded and insured, and they assured us they were, but refused to give us the name of the insurance company so we could make a claim to recover the cost of the alleged stolen items. The
's have been difficult to reach and difficult to deal with.
especially has been verbally abusive during phone calls. I would NOT recommend anyone use this couple as appraisers or to run a tag sale. Extremely unprofessional, rude and dishonest.

was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. She went through my entire coin collection (which took longer than the 2 hours included in the deal), made me an offer, and wrote a check on the spot. I would definitely call her if I ever need her services again.

The Estate sale was fabulous and very successful.
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
is a very professional company, and they exceeded our expectations. They came into our home a week or so before the sale and completely staged the house, priced and organized all items for the sale. They have a very large contact/client base and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering an Estate Sale. We were downsizing and had many items to sale and they sold everything for us. Great company and A+ work. They had all items listed at very fair prices which resulted in us making a great profit as well. Our house was empty and cleaned when we returned after the sale. Great Job!

Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
recently handled a sale for our family when our father passed away. She was professional, organized, and knowledgable. She did a great job of pricing everything in the house, running a top-notch sale for 3 days and getting us top dollar for a houseful of furniture and personal belongings. In addition,
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
is truly a kind and compassionate lady extremely tuned to the emotional side of liquidating a loved-one's possessions. She did everything she promised. When the sale was over her team arranged for all remaining unwanted items to be removed from the premises and left the house immaculate, which was an added bonus. Thank you

Great. I can't say enough great things about
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
and his team!
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
and his team makes it easy. They go through everything you want to sell, they set up the sale to maximize sales, and ended up getting a lot more money for the estate than I could have ever done on my own. Their commission is lower than the other companies I received quotes from and we ended up making more than I thought we would. Our estate was really complicated and
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
worked with us to make it work. I would definitely recommend

to any estate administrator, or anyone who wants to sell a bunch of stuff and get the most money out of the sales.

I called
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
to set up an auction, but I wasn't sure if parting with so many family items would make that much money for my aunt's care.
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
called me right back and asked for pictures of some of the better items and we talked for a few minutes about the other furniture in the house and my 92 year old aunt. It was a difficult decision to place her in a nursing facility after enjoying so many hours with her in her house..
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
understood how difficult it was for the family to part with some of the items that held so many memories, yet knew we needed money to support her. I expect he was as charmed as we are by her
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked
spirit. She lived alone all her life, had a great sense of humor, heated with wood up until the end of this winter, took no medicines and still had all her teeth! All this and a valued member of the family.

called back after receiving the first batch of pictures and from the picture alone could tell me precisely what the bureau was, when it was made, it's value in the 80's vx. on today's
Palo Alto Antique Appraisers Provider Name Locked

advised us against an auction (because it wouldn't really bring very much money for my aunt) and he had a great suggestion for us. Hold a sealed bid auction among the many nieces and nephews who valued my aunt and keep these few good pieces in the family. We were so relieved. We got to keep the pieces and involve the family in helping her.

himself was really fun to talk with. He really understood the

and how people value different antiques at different times. He told me fascinating stories about being an auctioneer from when he was little and was learning the trade from his dad to some of the best finds he had. His stories revealed a love for his job, deep knowledge of antiques of all kinds, but more importantly understanding of people. I would call on
