"work took 3 days
, filled all the holes, ground the floor, polished and sealed. He polished a marble bathroom vanity for us. Looks great" floor looks like new I would recommend
to anyone

-Anthony Q.

"Their prices were good and they have a great selection of granite slabs in their location. We selected the granite and placed the order. They exactly measure the" counter top once the vanities are installed in order to avoid measurement errors later. The counter tops were delivered and installed perfectly and professionally and they look very good. My biggest issue through the project was not knowing when the installation would actually happen. I had to make many calls to the office but wouldn't get an answer. I couldn't plan the rest of the remodeling project properly because of this. However, this was a monor annoyance compared to the quality of the job they did. I ordered the back splash later so that they had to make an extra trip to install them but they agreed to waive it later as long as I could live with a longer wait time.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

Marble And Granite reviews in Palmdale

I contacted
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
(QC) via email based upon a friend's referral and the high ratings on Angie's List. I included in my initiating email specific information to base their quote. My request contained the specific granite slab I have on hold from a local granite yard, approximate square footage, I supply the sink, I would not need the services of their backplash, and I requested a price for metal (
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
) supports for the bar portion of the countertop. QC included in their quote all that stated above, the added price for plumming for the installation of the sink, and the cut out for the sink. Based upon the initial quote that was provided by QC totaling $1692, I scheduled an in-home estimate since they quoted us a competative rate on Wed. 1//21/15.
My husband took the day off to meet the representative 1/23/15 between 11-12. Approximately 10 minutes before my husband should have expected a rep. from QC to be at our home, he informed me that he received a phone call saying that the quote was wrong and that the quote should be $2336. Which is a $644 difference.
We are not unresounable and we understand that mistakes happen, but when discussing the numbers they were not willing to make any concessions. To give a perspective the best quote with the same perimeter and same granite slab is $2070.
I hope this information is helpful to anyone.

I had no problems working with

, but one visit I had to work with
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and it was awful.
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was rude, initially ignored me, and refused to help me figure out how many tiles I needed. She was supposed to be helping me, but then helped another customer and took 2 phone calls. She said to me, “How am I supposed to know how many tiles you need?
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
’t you have a contractor?” After I said that Stone Mart should be able to help me figure this out, she said “I’m not going to take the responsibility of that if I do the math wrong.” So I had to figure it out myself. I also called to see what grout color matched the travertine I bought and
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
told me “And how am I supposed to know that answer?” with a rude, snotty
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
. She was useless and rude.

The hard part was finding a competent, skilled, and affordable installer. Stone Mart suggested a poor quality installer, Seven Golden Floors. It’s great for Stone Mart business when they suggest a crap installer and then you have to buy additional tile when your project needs to be redone. My advice to future tile customers is to get porcelain tile and forget about stone. It's not worth it. It takes great skill and experience to install stone correctly (especially in a shower) and with quality. Stone is also high maintenance and chips and cracks SO easily. I'm always seeing new chips and wondering, "How the? What the?" I'm so delicate with it and yet still it chips. You have to seal it every 5 years and it’s difficult to clean. After living with it for half a year now, I would never do stone again. Porcelain tile is stronger than ceramic and more durable than stone. That is the way I will go in the future. Stone looks good, but it is not functional or durable when you live with it.

He was very efficient and the company had a nice personnel. He was very personable. He was running early and he called to make sure it was alright. It took him about 30 minutes to do the granite cleaning, polishing and sealing for me.

They did an excellent job. The people were so kind and efficient. The quality of work was outstanding. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

Had complete kitchen remodel done in late 2013. Design process was great and they started work promptly. Then halfway through job progress stalled and it ended up running a month over. Throughout the process you are promised over and over that you can call back if you notice any defects and
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
will take care of it and make it right. All I can say is good luck with that. After they get their last payment, they are gone. The best response I got from
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was that he would give me the phone number of the subcontractor and I could deal with him. I am still dealing with electrical outlets that are loose, grout in tile joints coming up, missing molding around cabinets, a dangerous outlet below the kitchen sink, and missing an attic vent for

exhaust fan. I will say they kitchen does, from a distance look good. But the devil is in the details, and
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
does not provide quality work and there is little pride in provided a good product. don't waste your money.

We had done our homework and knew what we wanted for cabinet refacing, quartz counters, faucets, sinks. The installers the company sent were punctual which we appreciated. The installations of everything went well but there was a definite lack of attention to details: a 6 by 6 inch hole left for weeks in our kitchen touching a electrical switch box, true it was covered when the backsplash was put in but it was unsightly and next to an electrical outlet, a gap around our kitchen island created from replacing the old counter with the new, yes our old molding was used to close the gap but I had to seal the new nail whole and paint the wall, I has to ask for sealer around the new bathroom sinks where there was a visible gap from the top of the counter to the top of the sink. Fine, finished details is a weakness. the plumbers did a good job in their instillation of kitchen sink, faucets, garbage disposal, filtered water faucet.

At first I communicated with emails because I like documentation. No email was ever responded to. Phone calls had time delays up to more than 24 hours. Texting seemed to work but with delays. During the project, I stopped in the office to communicate some concerns. I learned our project manager was on a 4 day cruise. Someone in the office wrote down my concerns but no one in management or anyone else responded. I had to wait until our project manager returned from the cruise. All the workmen, installers, plumbers etc. arrived on time. CThe workmen who did all the installation were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. We took the precautions of covering our furniture with plastic when the kitchen counters were installed. There was a significant about of “quartz dust” from the drilling of the holes for the faucets.

We purchased all the faucets for bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, the kitchen sink, water filtration faucet and garbage disposal independently from the company. The two new bathroom sinks were purchased from the company. The company staff were polite.

The lack of prompt communication, the lack of attention to installation details are the reasons I would not hire the company again.

We did not have a good "encounter" with this organization. We stopped into their showroom and saw a piece of granite we really liked. However, it had already been sold to a previous customer. We asked sales rep #1 to try and locate a similar piece of granite which they did, but it was located in Michigan where the company is based. Sales rep #1 emailed us a picture of this granite and we asked if we could see it in person. We were initially told no and that we would have to make our decision based on the picture. We weren't comfortable committing to move forward without first seeing the granite in person. This concern was communicated to sales rep #1 who responded by saying the granite could be shipped from Michigan to Noblesville with a $1000 refundable down payment. We weren't comfortable with this arrangement either. I went into the same showroom about a week later and talked to sales rep #2 about where we were in the process and what challenges we were facing. Sales rep #2 said they could transfer the granite from Michigan to their Noblesville location without mentioning any cost. This

me to question why sales rep #1 requested a $1000 down payment. This inconsistent communication with the sales reps
Palmdale Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
me to call a manager at the Noblesville office. I communicated to the manager the conflicting messaging we had received. The manager confirmed they could transfer the granite from Michigan to Noblesville with a $1,000 down payment. Again, we didn't agree with their request and the manager ended up discounting the fee to a $300 refundable deposit. We agreed to this amount and were told there were frequent trips transporting granite from Michigan to Noblesville. The manager indicated the granite would be available for us to look at in approximately 5 days and he would call us when it arrived. Approximately eight days passed and we had not received a phone call from the manager. As a result, we initiated a phone call to the manager who confirmed the granite had not yet been loaded on a truck to be transported to Noblesville. The manager indicated it would be an additional 7 days (approximately) before it would be available for us to look at. We had put so much work into just making arrangements to see this granite that we thought how much work will we have to put into this process once they began installation. Needless to say, we requested to have our credit card refunded and called a different granite company. Save yourself the stress by working with a local granite company that has relationships with local granite distributors that allow you to see the granite in person.

I didn't know they were on Angie's List and I have been a member for several years. I believe I searched Angie's List and then the internet and when I found their website and read about it, I was convinced that they were who I should get an estimate from.
