is unprofessional, rude, makes vulgar use of his faith, and has claimed to have lost two complete sets of my medical records, which were" provided at my expense. He wanted to perform surgeries that they claimed would allow them to take me off my medication and then make more profit from me by performing these surgeries, this would also allow them to say they took me off the "drugs". Again I want to let it be known that I have no issues with the staff, they were great. The issue I had was with
who is a torturer and someone who I would recommend avoiding at all costs.

-William W.

"They have been good with working with me. It started with one side and got better and after 6 months it came back in the other side. I have been many times in the" past year. My insurance has paid for my visits.

Pain management typically falls into two different categories, acute or chronic. There are basically three ways to manage chronic pain: medically, psychologically and through alternative therapy.

I apologize, but that would fall under our Pain Management category which is included in the Health list. Currently, you're enrolled in our Basic membership which only includes access to our Home list.

I looked through our database to find providers to assist you, but I'm sorry to say we don't currently have options in your area.
We like to offer members at least three options for their projects, so when this happens we are happy to offer the services of our Local Research Department. They will search outside of our database to track down some options for you. Because these providers won't be rated by members, it will be difficult to determine intangibles like reliability, price, expertise and other things that can be found on member reviews. However, we want to help you find a place to start with your project. Please allow a couple of business days for them to follow up with their findings.

Pain Management Treatment reviews in Oroville

In my case, he gave me corticosteroid injections near my damaged thoracic vertebra. After three injections (each three weeks apart), all my back pain disappeared - and has remained gone for more than a year. Recently, I began a series of injections near my lumbar spine for sciatica. The first injection has provided immediate relief. Dr.

All staff members were very courteous and cheerful. The nurses were very nice. Both doctors treated me with dignity & respect which is something that's hard to find. They both explained what my diagnosis was and we made a plan of treatment together. It is so refreshing to be treated with such kindness.
- Crystal B.

I really liked him. He was excellent. However, my insurance quit taking him. I have chronic back problems and an inoperable condition. He was very informative and very knowledgeable. He was able to look at my MRI and records and come up with a plan, an epidural shot that worked well for my pain. He applied it in the proper place. Those kinds of things are tricky, when you're fooling with nerves that are being pressed on. You have to get it in just the right place, and he did. I recommend him to others.
- Nancy W.

We tried various treatments until we decided upon steroid injections. These were also provided in a kind and professional matter. I have no reservations in recommending Pain care. I have found competent, timely and cost effective care here. However, I can only speak for Dr.

Doctor refused to listen to what my actual complaint was, didn't believe I was experiencing pain from my disease and was extremely condescending. I have never before been treated so poorly and disrespectfully by a doctor. Shortly after seeing this jerk, I went to another doctor and got the help I needed.
- Rhonda Q.

First off, I had to wait like two weeks before I could get it. I was supposed to have a consultation with the doctor but he didn't have time to see me. instead they sent in a PA who told me about a new surgery and stated that I needed it. They had not even looked at my chart, MRI or anything. I would not go back to them.

I have been going there every 3 months for years, and

is who I saw. My back pain was becoming worse, so it was recommended I have a procedure done. It was explained to me that Dr

only does pain implants now, and his associate, Dr

would evaluate me and do the procedure. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. She makes no eye contact, instead looks at her computer screen. She told me 'there's nothing wrong with your back!' I have MRI's that have been seen by multiple doctors over the years, including Dr

, who disagree with her. I'm not convinced she even knows how to read or interpret them. She was argumentative and ended up walking out of the room, leaving me in tears. I am now looking for a new doctor, because I would NEVER let her touch my back!

is the first physician to actually sit down and give me a detailed explanation of my diagnosis. Despite the fact that I'm an RN he explained things so thoroughly that anyone without medical experience would understand. He does not "push" pain pills. He offers alternative treatments such as cervical injections. I have not been able to have an injection because of insurance issues he has always worked with me on managing my pain using medication interventions that have the least side effects and addictive tendencies. He helps you to understand that some pain cannot be "cured" but just managed. He explains that even with medications you will not always be completely pain free because it is a chronic physical problem that cannot be corrected. That's so important to understand. I'm an obstetric nurse. Just as an example of this type of thinking, when a laboring women comes in to have her baby we have to explain that despite pain interventions we may not be able to alleviate all of her pain because it is part of the process that her body is going through. We explain to surgical patients such as c-sections or hysterectomies that they have had surgery and we cannot take away the pain of an incision but we can manage it and make it more bearable.
This is the type of explanation Dr.
Oroville Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
gives to his patients about chronic diagnosis and explains to them why he chooses the best interventions for their care. He acknowledges your pain and he treats it based on your symptoms and test results. He is not a physician who prescribes the strongest, most addictive medications that might completely alleviate your pain but keeps you from being fully functional due to the side effects of the medication. He treats your pain so that you can actively be a part of your life. And yes, sometimes my medications alleviate the pain completely. But there are times where my pain is lessened but still there. But it's lessened enough to allow me to, like I said, be an active participant in my life.
I have unfortunately had an insurance change. Yesterday when I met with him he explained how I should choose a new physician. Things that I knew as an RN but had never really applied to my own care. He explained that I should clarify that the physician is board certified in pain management and that their fellowship should have been with this specialty. He explained that it is wisest and in your best interest to choose a physician who has pursued this specialty aggressively through their medical training. I will sincerely miss Dr.

and his office staff. I am considering maintaining self pay just so that I can continue care with them, but haven't decided that for sure yet. His office staff is so amazing, knowledgable and understanding. It is so easy to feel judged as a "drug seeker" when receiving pain management. This does not happen at this practice. They treat you with utmost respect and understanding and work hard to develop an excellent rapport with their patients. If I could give them a higher grading, I absolutely would!!!
