& Cooling did a great job installing my Trane system. They were very clean and fast. I got a ten year warranty on all of my equipment for additional cost. They were not the cheapest and were in middle of the other prices I received. I will use them again.

I had called this company through Home Depot's installation number. It was 8:30am, and Home Depot's site indicated same day service. I could not get an appointment until 3:00 to 5:00 the next day, and was told the technician would call approx. 30 minutes before arriving. I explained to the person who did the scheduling that we wanted to install a new water heater, there was no question of repair but that we needed the old one removed and because it had leaked quite a bit, we needed an evening to fix the platform it was standing on. He told me no problem, they would come out and remove it, and I would just need to pay 10% and they would remove the heater and come back the next day with a new one and I could then pay the remaining 90%. The technician did not arrive until after 5:00pm, there was no phone call at all. He promptly told me the water heater was broke and needed to be replaced. I told him what the gentleman on the phone had arranged with me, and he said they don't do that, sometimes the guys in the office say things they should not. I would have to call the office and track down that guy I talked to. This was to be a service call of $139.00 where he would give me an estimate. He did finally agree to take away the water heater. I had been told that the standard installation cost was $400. The technician quickly estimated an additional $600 in charges for items that are supposedly required by the city such as earthquake straps. If things are required they should be included in standard installation. He told me that certain things were broke and would need to be fixed, however, when my husband arrived home, amazingly they weren't broke anymore. At that point, I knew I was done with this company. Thanks for taking our hot water heater away, but no I will not have them back.

Plumber called to give me a quote. It was for a rental property and I was not on site. He quoted me ~$650 which I thought was kind of expensive for a faucet. He told me I was receiving a faucet valued at $300 which I accepted. I searched the model number that was installed from the invoice and saw that it is available at Home Depot for $100. I called and asked about the discrepancy in which they would not reply. I realize. That I had the option to not use them when they gave me a quote but felt it was acceptable when they informed me of a higher quality faucet. I would not recommend them.

installed a new tankless water heater for me in March of 09. I've had them out a couple time for service and a couple niggling issues - they have always been on-time, friendly and helpful. They even completed and fixed the issues on first try.
Last month, I noticed the heater was leaking on a Thursday night so I emailed Nick. He got back to me the next AM and had

Installation went fine but the heater is too far from the usage areas so doesn't work well. Want to have it taken out and restored to a regular water heater.

I spoke to many different companies, trying to understand my options, including whether the Energy Star water heaters the inspector was pushing, were a good idea. Almost nobody thought they were worth the extra money, even after rebate. Then it came down to finding someone honest, reliable, & reasonably priced. Cost was an issue. After many conversations, I also learned that some well known brands aren't all that reliable, which helped narrow the field. They all have their favorite, & most don't want to step outside of that. A couple of companies sent out someone to see my set up, or asked for photos. That turned out to be a learning experience in itself. The folks who lived here before, made some "modifications" that created problems with changing out the water heater, & cost extra money on the labor.
I eventually settled on Express, due to reviews & after speaking with the owner,

. I warned him about the weird piping other techs had mentioned, but he didn't want a pic, & convinced me that the brand he prefers is the best he's worked with. In the end, install did cost more than he estimated, because he also had to work with the plumbing problems others had pointed out, but it still came in at the lower end of the range I'd come to expect. After he left, I discovered very low water pressure in the kitchen, at the far end of the house from the water heater. He came out the next day, took the kitchen faucet apart, cleaned it out & it was as good as new. He told me he prefers to do this kind of repair himself, as there are several pieces in my kind of faucet, & it's easy to put it back together wrong.
I'm very comfortable recommending this company to others.

Our 20 year old split system furnace/ air stopped working. We had replaced the thermostat ourselves which we thought may have caused the problem. Our service tech, TJ, was great. He identified the problem as lack of low voltage to the thermostat, and after checking the relays on the wiring at the furnace, replaced the transformer and installed a fuse so the fuse would blow instead of the transformer. The ac came on but blew the fuse. It was a short in the wiring from the furnace to the compressor. TJ crawled in the crawlspace under the house and fixed the wiring. Apparently a mouse had chewed through the insulation and exposed the wires which touched and shorted the system. TJ was proficient, fast, thorough and personable. And he cleaned up after the repair. We highly recommend TJ and

It went well. There was added expense for a city permit which was a surprise. Otherwise I was very pleased. He removed the old water heater and installed the new one. It was done quickly and he left the area nice and neat.
