was scheduled to come to my home to install 2 ceiling fans – one in the garage and one in a bedroom. I spoke with the office and detailed exactly what had to be accomplished --there was an existing light in the ceiling of the garage that had to be moved in order to accommodate a ceiling fan for it was too close to the garage door opener. The office was told that the garage was completely dry walled. I inquired if they needed to come out for an estimate and was told they did not. Estimate was $300 which seemed fair. The second, was to install a ceiling fan in a guest bedroom with existing light in ceiling.

called 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to say that their guys would be over an hour late because they had to troubleshoot. I needed to be at a meeting that afternoon so I rescheduled for a morning – 8:30. On the morning of the reschedule, the electricians arrived 15 minutes late, but not a big concern as it was the beginning of a day. I took the electricians to the garage and

kept staring at the ceiling. I finally said to him, you can speak up. His response yelling “

’t treat me like a dog, I’m not your dog”. Then he went on to say in a rude manner that his work order did not include accommodating the fan. I explained to him what I had discussed with the office; then I told him I would be calling the office and he could leave. I called the office moments later, told them what had occurred, and they stated they would call back in a few minutes --- they never called back.

"I had a list of electrical problems that I finally got tired of dealing with, so I decided to call
Newport Beach Ceiling Fan Installers Provider Name Locked
out to see what he can do with them. He came out for the estimate and seemed very knowledgeable of the work I was wanting to get done and he gave me a very reasonable quote. The day the service was to be done he showed up on time and got right to work. He was very professional and he had no problems with anything. I have recommended

"The workmanship was at best average to poor. Drywall was not installed flat causing baseboards to be wavy. Holes for outlets were a little too big and crooked. The window was not square and was off by 1/4 to 1/2 inch over a span of 4 ft. One ceiling fan had a screw that was over tightened and the head was broken causing the blade to droop and wobble.

returned to drill out the screw and tap new threads but then the fan did not work. When the fan repairman came, he said the motor was shorted out and could not remove the new tapped screw and had to take the fan back to the shop.

".I initially wanted only the attic fan. They arrived at a time when I was distracted by a business crisis and had just had major surgery, and was about to have more, and I foolishly let myself be hustled into further contracts for which I wasn't prepared and hadn't considered -- the whole house fan, rewiring the house, and installing recessed lighting. Neither fan functioned as I had expected, based on prior experience, but I had not asked for the information and it wasn't volunteered. The recessed lights were mostly placed without input from me, and the placement is not optimal. After the job, I realized that the lights were not aimed as needed, and I was told that aiming them required getting up on a ladder and pushing the bulbs. We're not able to do that. or to replace the bulb that failed after a couple of months. We ere told that they would leave a box of replacement bulbs, but they didn't.They covered everything and cleaned up very nicely the first few days, but toward the end, they omitted to cover the furniture and left a mess. They were not careful with my personal property, and threw away a handmade enameled metal switchplate and a wooden switchplate, without inquiry, replacing them with cheap white plastic ones. Other small objects disappeared. They made several chips in the enamel of the bathroom sink, and made a crack in the mirrored wall of the bathroom. They carelessly moved the new refrigerator, causing deep scratchs that chipped the enamel. A small wallpapered area of the bathroom was left covered with holes, and not really fixable. Two center ceiling fixtures that I had wanted to keep using were removed from the circuit andf do not function. I was given the impression, or erroneously formed the impression, that the new lighting was energy-efficient, but using it and the attic fan increased our electric bill by as much as 65%. Now I leave the attic fan turned off, so it's of no use, and there really isn't any noticeable effect on the house temperature. There was no proper written contract, and if a permit was required or obtained, I am unaware of it. I was repeatedly reminded to give a favorable review to Angie's list.
