Huntington Beach Drywall Contractors Reviews
We had an OLD, very unfinished garage. It had a whole bunch of all new joists and built an attic with a pull-down step-ladder. They drywalled the whole thing, painted, finished it all. They removed all the old, exposed electrical and ran new wires through the walls.
Once again, his guys were good, on-time, kind, and honest. In fact, we had some of the same guys working on this project as we had on the last one, reinforcing the fact that he doesn't hire just anyone, but has consistent people working for him. There were more than a couple times that I had to run home in the middle of the day and his guys were always working hard.
So for the second time in 6 months I've had a major project completed quickly, impressively, with zero stress, and at a price I was happy with. I highly recommend
Our current project was a roughly $200,000 house remodel on a million dollar home that required coordination among a variety of interior and exterior contractors over approximately 6 months. Pier was hired primarily for his expertise as a carpenter an area where he truly shines as one of the best. In particular, Pier delivered a beautiful staircase and wainscoting exactly to our specifications as well as matching built in seating and beadboard in adjoining rooms. The entire flow of the house works perfectly as all the areas are designed and built correctly in the same style and finish. On the exterior, Pier was able to install our choice of siding (
I have seen negative ratings issued to Pier based on price. In my experience, Pier's price was very competitive with other tradesman that we evaluated and in all honestly, I think we got a bargain. I did however receive lower quotes on some portions of the job from less skilled contractors, contractor's without licenses, or contractors who did not intend to do the work themselves but subcontract out to other people. Its important when evaluating each bid to make sure bids are comparable for the services being offered both on the list of services but on the quality of construction. There were many areas that came up during the project (as always do) that required good judgement and experience to resolve correctly. I have hired many other contractors who would have avoided handling those problems, charged extra or failed to disclose them. In the long run (i.e. on a house you plan to live in) you always end up paying for those oversights.
In summary, if I was flying off into space in my house and I had to have just one contractor, I'd take Pier, both for his skill and his good company.
- Price above included some materials supplied by contractor. Some work managed by additional tradesman at Pier's direction.
Our only initial challenge was getting through to

The ladder went in securely and perfectly aligned. The final trim and paint job was excellent without a stray drop. The house feels immediately more comfortable from the insulation. And the closet access was sealed and painted (and retro-popcorned) without an errant drip anywhere on the cedar lining. No one would know there had ever been a hole there.
They did a great job in record time, cleaned up completely, and we are very pleased with the final result. We didn't get competitive bids, but we definitely got star-class treatment and I am totally satisfied with the results and what we paid.
As for the work,
Any questions or concerns I had were all communicated via email, and as stated before, average response time was a day later.

Once this process was completed the project took off like you would see on HGTV. The cabinets, flooring, and granite tops went in and this only took about two weeks. Last was the baseboards and painting of the entire common areas. The completed project was done by June 30th 2011.
Two months later I was so pleased with the new kitchen and received so many complements that I had to have
Next year, I plan to change the master bedroom and on-suite bathroom and bet you can guess who I will have do the job!"
