"I've been going to chiropractors for years, even worked for one for over a year. My first visit with Dr.
was different than any of them!" She has you watch a video explaining her way of treatment, which makes total sense and made me wish I knew her years ago! My husband has also been having serious issues with his back due to his severe anxiety and came with me on my second visit. I'm going to skip ahead to the present. I've been going to her for maybe 22 visits. I have fewer headaches, less tension in my shoulder area and know exactly why, when I do have pain or attitude issues, it is happening and that it will be fixed my next visit. Oh yeah, and my hiatal hernia doesn't bother me as much either! My husband can actually walk now without pain in his lower back or leg. I can't explain the method here because it's hard to write down but I would definitely refer people to Dr.
. They will watch the same video I watched and understand why their body is doing what it is. I went 2-3 times a week for the first month and am now down to once a week. I'm not going to say it's all a bed of roses because there are some adjustments that hurt like the
but afterwards I feel so much better. I can breath in, breath out and relax and my body doesn't slump forward and my shoulders don't go up when I breath. I stand up so much straighter now that I think I've gained my 1/2" back (use to be 5 feet 5 1/2 inches tall but only measured 5 feet 5 inches on my first visit).

"Careful diagnosis, clearly explained. Intelligent doctor who communicates well, asks good questions, and does good work.

I was greeted and was explained about my insurance and how the visit would proceed. I was given a video to watch so that I knew what to expect when I saw the doctor. I was then taken back to the doctors office and was asked a series of questions as to why I was there and the problems I was having. I was then asked to do a series of movements to determine my range of motion. I was explained what the doctor thought what best might help my condition. I was then x-rayed and given an adjustment on my first day.
On my next visit I was given a report of findings. This was explained to me by the doctor as to what was seen on my X-rays and how best to treat my chronic issue. As the doctor proceeded to adjust me I was explained as to what would happen next which put me at ease. Then I was given some therapy and exercises to help with my chronic issue.
I have continued my treatment as the doctor has prescribed and have never felt better. For my condition this is the most relief I have felt in years. I will continue to see the doctor(s) at East Town Chiropractic on a regular bases.
Life is too short not to feel good each day.

Pros:
- Dr
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
understands biochemistry and how the body works and does a good job of explaining this
- He gives good nutrition advice that is backed in science, I liked his explanation there and food advice
- His cleanse diet was easy to understand and gets good results
- I feel much better after following the eating plan and blood work is much much better
- I followed his plan and got good results health wise (not so much weight wise) he said he expected 10-20% to total loss over 2 months
Cons
- Supplements for me cost 200-300 per month, his prices for the supplements were competitive with other vendors
- I feel strongly my results were from the diet and not the supplements, however I did notice some appetite suppression with the supplements but not enough to warrant the high costs
- they do not accept insurance, and it takes forever to get the forms from them to submit on your own
- Response times to patients is way to long, emails go unanswered sometimes for weeks
- Phone calls also are not returned timely (my expectation is within 24 hours) usually takes 3+ days
- Also, follow up on test results is not timely, you often have to call to follow up on tests he orders( (right now he has had my results for 10 days and he has never called me)

treated my husband over the course of a dozen, or so visits. Dr.

I think he goes back because of his effectiveness. He's been to other doctors but Dr.
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
just helps him more. He's consistent. He has deals that when my husband's back is really bad he can go back several times a day and only get charged for once a day. He's just a really good guy.

Everything went quite well. I'm an exercise physiology guy (formally educated) so it was easy for me to explain the issue in more technical language but Dr
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
expressed his ideas using plain language that pretty much anyone can understand. He listened to my explanation, used his hands to feel that the vertebrae were out-of-place then he was able to place my head in the correct position and make the necessary adjustments to relocate those vertebrae back to a neutral position. His adjustments (a.k.a. neck cracking) allowed the muscles in my neck to relax and I felt an instant level of relief. Made a followup visit two days later (to allow time for sore / stiff muscles to heal) and he was able to feel that the problem vertebrae were pretty much where they needed to be but made a couple quick adjustments nonetheless to ensure that any small movements over the past few days were re-corrected. I made an appointment for deep tissue massage within a week of the primary visit which made quite a difference in the ability of my muscles to relax.
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
was able to find a few knotted muscles and really worked into them well but not beyond the point where I couldn't handle the discomfort. Unfortunately, there's no way around the discomfort to work such "knots" out of muscles but
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
was able to judge my discomfort threshold perfectly. Shortly after the massage was done, I noticed I felt much more relaxed and even less tightness/soreness, especially in the range of motion I was able to notice the most due to the previous level of stiffness. Sleeping with only a neckroll pillow in a spine-neutral position, I awoke with pretty much no stiffness or soreness this morning and not much need for today's followup appointment with Dr
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
but I know I have some tightness in the mid-low back region so he found a couple locations that could use a quick adjustment, made those adjustments then sent me on my way. Although I don't need to go back soon, I know I'll go back when in need of adjustment / muscular relaxation in the future because all of us sleep strange one night, or sit off-center or even punish ourselves at the gym and days like that can cause spinal issues that are no problem for Dr

,
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked

Called the practice to make an appointment and was referred to the
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
location, as they had the soonest opening. My appointment was with Dr.
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
A.
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
. When I met Dr.
Grass Valley Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
, I explained all of my symptoms and advised that I had back pain due to a sports related injury for about a month. I also advised that I had possibly been aggravating the injury by not giving my body required rest to heal. Despite this, he began to "adjust" my back and prescribe three visits a week. I also received very uncomfortable shock therapy in the error, administered by staff member, whom honestly didn't seem to know what they were doing. Not only did the treatments not help my injury, he then wanted me to begin seeing the resident office physical therapist for treatment three times a week as well. Bottom line, I truly felt like instead of honestly trying to address my injury, they were trying to milk my insurance. I informed the office receptionist that I did not feel I required to keep seeing the Dr. as I felt proper rest was in order. I also told her to have the Dr. give me a call and I would be happy to discuss this with him. In the following weeks, I received several desperate calls from the office receptionist to come in and schedule my appointment. I NEVER heard back from Dr.

. I would not recommend the

The service went well. I believe they have moved locations and I have not visited for a while. I am not quite sure where they have moved to. The staff was very knowledgeable and great at diagnosing my problems easily. I had no issues with scheduling an appointment.
