El Cajon Optometrists Reviews

"I asked them to use my existing frames & they told me that since they were three years old that the spring mechanism in the side pieces (bows) were too flimsy, that they would break in the process of mounting the lenses. I would have to select a frame from their limited selection of frames. I told them that their assertion was clearly wrong - they were just following

's instructions to sell frames, that the spring mechanisms were one of the more rugged parts of the current frames. They then said, "Well, that may be, but with old frames like that, they would probably break, and since the lenses would be the wrong shape, I would just end up paying for another set of lenses AND a new frame." I looked through their selection of frames and the only one that was any acceptable style was too small (narrow across the front). They refused to order a properly sized frame. I had to wait a week, but they used the old frame for only a semi-satisfactory result.
