Business Description: I started in the residential and commercial maintenance and repair business working the summer months all through my high school and college years at “ La Coquille“, a beachfront co-op in my hometown of Westhampton Beach N.Y., duties included all phases of ground and building maintenance, painting etc. I graduated college with a bachelors degree in business administration from SUNY New Paltz in upstate N.Y. n 1984. Shortly after graduating I went to work for a large local landscaping company. In 1986, using my previously acquired skills, business education and newly acquired skills, I formed “Oceanfront Landscaping“, a company dedicated to residential and commercial landscape design, construction and maintenance. As the business grew and the scope of the projects gravitated toward not just landscaping but all phases of home repairs and construction I reorganized the company and incorporated as Oceanfront Maintenance Inc. in 1997. My clientele ranged from small residential homes to a 139 unit, two pool area, beach side condominium. I operated Oceanfront Maintenance Inc. from 1997 to 2010 when for reasons not related to my business we moved our family here to Southern California. Here in So Cal I have obtained my California General B contractors license and organized “A 2 Zen Contracting“, a company again dedicated to all phases of home maintenance, repair and construction. I enjoy working in the southern California weather and I am looking forward to serving the people of the San Gabriel Valley area.
