"My mom rented a one bedroom apartment with a large bathroom, balcony, and a sitting room. It included a small kitchenette with refrigerator. There are no stoves," which keeps the apartment safer. He residents are served three meals a day in the dining room. Each meal includes several options. Fresh baked bread is served at each lunch. Dinner begins with homemade soup each night. She loved the food here. She received maid service once a week. The community bus made regular trips to banks, store, and special events. A lot of activities are offered on site. Residents often volunteer in the gardening and upkeep of the community. Mom lived at for two months. She really seemed to enjoy it. She made many friends. A severe illness required that we move her to our house in another city. Her long-time friend called to tell me that she was concerned about my mom's health. While does not provide healthcare or "assisted living", I was able to get assistance from the staff. I called the office about her friends concerns. A phone call to the office sent to visit with my mom. By the time I got to there several hours later, staff and friends had attempted to get her to a doctor. They kept me informed so that I knew what needed to be done next. I had noticed on previous visits that residents looked out for each other and alerted the management if they were concerned. I ended up living at for almost a month while caring for my mom. The staff and other residents were very supportive and willing to help. At first I determined to stay and care for her there. I was sad when I realized that I needed to move her for my own reasons. The staff continued to be supportive through the whole process.

"I was told about by a friend that had received services for her father. She knew how much I was struggling with taking care of my mother" and how much that was affecting our relationship. Things were so hard and it seemed like all I was making was memories of struggles and annoyance in the last years I had left with her. The support we received from changed everything for the better. My mother had someone to rely on for all of her personal care needs and we were able to get back to being us. Being able to meet with me for meals and outings clean and dressed and knowing that she has her own person dedicated to her needs gave her back her confidence that she had her entire life. This service and this company was worth every penny and I highly recommend them.

Independent Living reviews in Citrus Heights

If you’re interested in , ’t wait to call for an appointment. We booked a week ahead to visit. We liked the place and the people a lot, and they’re offering financial incentives worth considering. They’re very straightforward. No “ and dealing” ...More or pressure like some of the places we visited.
- Mike & Helen C.

My uncle lived at in Suites (assisted living) for years and recently passed away at age 94. The staff were outstanding and treated him like family. He was involved in activities daily and thrived these last few years of his life. We miss the place and the people and we will be forever grateful for their ...More care and compassion.

I would recommend to anyone who asks. My aunt moved to their assisted living over a year ago. The staff are very compassionate and treat her like family. They have a new outdoor patio area to garden and they hold barbeques almost weekly throughout the summer. There is something for her to do every day and night, 7 days a week. ...More I can’t say enough positive things about the care my aunt receives. She’s living the good life!
- Jessica H.

I’ve researched and visited several communities and is one of my top choices. Its very contemporary and the people I met were happy and involved in many acitvities. Their Entrance Fees are quite reasonable.

My sisters and I visited with our parents and everyone we met was lovely. We stayed for dinner and residents from the Welcome Committee stopped by our table to introduce themselves. My parents felt very much at home.

We stopped in without an appointment and the staff were very accommodating. We spoke with several residents and they’re very happy with the services and the management. We’ve looked around (eastern and central .) and I ’t think any other place can compare to for ...More the price. It’s a nice place.
- Rhonda B.

I just wanted to tell prospective clients what a fantastic environment is to work in. I’m a waitress here and I love my job!! The place is awesome!! The management is nice to all of us and we’re like a family here. The residents are like my grandparents. All my friends have filled out applications to work here but ...More they ’t have many openings so you have to apply a few times to get in. It’s a great place to work!
- Jessica V.

It was a lot of money to pay for someone to come in and take care of little tasks (sweeping, 2-3 dishes per day...etc). I was supposed to be billed $550 dollars but ended up being charged over $700 because of late fees -- which I could not have known about because I was never sent a bill! The owner and I had a verbal agreement (that she denies) that ...More I would pay her after money came in from a settlement but she will not budge from the written contract. They also DO NOT serve the Mooresville area, despite advertising that they do.

was the only employee that was ever nice to me at all.
