She started out in the pet sitting business working for her sister in Escondido, who has had her own pet sitting business since 2003. Julie moved to Canyon Country in 2011, and brings with her many years of pet care experience, both in her personal life, as well as professionally. She is certified by the American Red Cross in Pet CPR/First Aid. In-Home Visits: Our goal is to keep your pets in their own environment and as close to normal routine as possible. We can customize our visits to your pet's needs. Our In-Home pet sitter visits can include any or all of the following: Feed pets and give fresh water Quality "people" time - love and affection Play and exercise dogs Light horses stall mucking (restrictions apply) Clean litter box Give certain medications/vitamins Scoop the poop Clean up "accidents" Bring in mail/newspaper Watering a few potted plants Turn on/off heaters or fans Adjust lights and fans on/off for security Alternate blinds/curtains for added security Making sure your pet is comfortable and happy until you return home! Walkin' The Dog: Dog walks not only ease your dog's bladder, but it gives them a chance to stretch their legs and burn off some energy! We offer private midday dog walks from your home in most areas of Canyon Country. In-Home Overnight Stays: Overnight Service gives personal attention to your furry family member(s), so that your pet(s) will not be alone, or feel abandoned while you're away. Our Pet Professional will arrive at your home for the Evening feeding, spend the night until the next morning to conduct the Morning feeding. We be on-site for approximately 10-12 at your home. Overnight service is available on a limited basis. 5 Star Pet Sitting accepts cash or checks, and collects fees in advance. Office Hours: Our office hours are from 8am - 8pm. As we are often out horsin' around (at YOUR place), our answering machine is available 24 hours-a-day. Please leave a message. All phone calls received after 8pm will be returned the next day. Visit Times: Visits are done in specifically designed time frames (rounds) beginning at 7:30am, and concluding by 7:30pm. Please let us know if your pet has any special needs that are dictated by the clock. Time requests will be accommodated if feasible, but not guaranteed. After-hours visits may be prearranged (subject to availability) at agreed upon rate, plus a $10 per trip fee. Reservations: Advanced reservations are required, as availability is on a first come first serve basis. Emergencies do arise, but generally we are not an on-call service. Please do not wait until the last minute – major holidays are typically booked months in advance! The more notice you give us, the better your chances we will be able to book your dates. Holiday Reservation: Typically holidays are very popular. Please don't wait to book your reservations at the last minute.
