Business Description: Established in 1975 In 1975 owner Katheryn Schramm worked in a Pediatric Ophthalmology Department. She saw a nurse using tongue depressors to form a splint. She was told splint is to keep the child from bending arms to take off the glasses. She was shocked. Today, many years and thousands of children later, not one of "A Child's View kids" has ever been given arm splints--not one infant, not one toddler, not one disabled child of any age. "A Child's View kids" wear glasses because they are carefully selected, fitted accurately and because the parents have received instruction in how to obtain compliance and why compliance is so vital. Since then "A Child's View" has grown to 4 stores is Southern California and services children from all over. Providing great service and selection. The owner has written 2 books "Dispensing Pediatric Eyewear" and "Will My Child Actually Wear These Glasses" helping children everywhere. Come check us out.
